I am up a pound today!
![]() I ate early yesterday, and I did zumba last night. I am hoping it is only water. I am getting very frustrated! I need to have my last dosing day be Sunday and I really wanted to hit atleast the 20 pound mark. But now that is 4 pounds away. I drank some green tea this morning.....any other ideas? |

Starting today!
Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be joining you all today! I just took my first dose of pellets this morning and am on day 1 of loading! Not filling up like I probably should be...I had some stomach issue yesterday, and got sick 2x. Woke up this morning feeling fine but just not really hungry. Nevertheless, I'm eating the fatty foods...
I'm looking to lose 20-25 lbs, and then see how I feel/look at that point, to see if I want to go for more. I really didn't want to start VCLD1 on the weekend, but I also didn't want to delay losing weight 2 more days lol! So, you gotta do what you gotta do! Looking forward to posting my losses next week! ~Amy |

Thanks Solstyce, I have been happy with the wt loss. I think I will finish these drops (I don't want to waste $$$ LOL). I think they will probably only cover 21 days or so. After that, I will go to the pellets.
Welcome Amy. dbunny, the drops were mentioned in my post (NiGen BioTech HCG Solution) |

Loading, day 2. I bought all my VLCD supplies. I need to portion out my meat and make some meals ahead of time, and meal plan out the LVCD days.
I love reading through and seeing all the losses! It's so encouraging-- I'm ready to drop some #s!! I wish I could do a longer round, but I have a weekend @ what would be vlcd29... I could do a planned interruption, I suppose. I know others have done that, but I haven't. Something to think about... Great losses, ladies. wmac- That is frustrating! I've never done intense workouts on vlcd days-- good for you! Hopefully it's just water retention. |

Also, I felt not hungry today and I still haven't eaten all of my allowed food and it's almost bed time! Plus, I lost 1.3 pounds on the pellets the first day after a slow loss on the drops. |

chewing gum?
Is this allowed and if so, what is a good brand that is protocol friendly? I haven't finished reading P & I yet.
Thanks, ![]() |

Checking in with a 0.4 loss again today. It seems that lasering those foods that didn't hold has helped.

Okay I have to fess up, I cheated. But not in the normal way, lol.
This week was tough for me. Monday I was down 1 lb, Tuesday nothing. Wednesday down a pound, Thursday nothing. I'm on my 24th day(4th week) of vlcd and I really wanted to keep going until 20 more pounds or 30 days but if I keep having weird zeros mid week I started to talk myself into stopping which would really make me sad. So I did an apple day yesterday and I'm down 2.6. I don't know if it was worth it or not but I feel better. Tonight I will go to accupuncture, maybe that will help. Normally on the third week I start having regularity issues, I think that may be contributing. There is a girl here at work that is always trying to get me to go to happy hour or dinner even though she knows that I'm trying not to go off plan. I think that she is a saboteur lol, there is always a "mole" in our lives isn't there. Stay strong. Do not let others phase you. You are your best friend.

i have read that some chew several sticks a day, i would not do this----trident makes a cinnamon gum that is very good, when i have some i take about half a stick,,, which is only a couple times a week---do not use any mint flavored gum---

I was up 0.6 lbs today. However, I started VLCD last Friday so my overall wt loss I am pleased with. I am not going to let this gain deter me.

So since I still have 24 pounds to lose, I guess I'll consider my new start date as yesterday when I had a full day on the pellets. Oh- I am down .5 pounds this morning to 144. |

I had originally lasered the 4 foods I was eating that I was allergic to: Strawberries, tomatoes, grapefruit and onions. Then I tried taking a capsule of L-Carnitine to see if it helped me burn fat better and I was apparently allergic to that. It was then that my system destabilized and I noticed I was reacting to strawberries and grapefruit again, but not the other two foods (tomatoes or onions). I re-lasered the strawberries and grapefruit on separate days (you can't touch or eat the item for 25 hours afterward) and have resumed the steady burn I had before. I don't seem to lose more than 0.4 lb a day right now, but as long as it's steady, I feel I am on the right track.
I am aware that I am allergic to nearly everything I put in my mouth, except water, beef and cabbage at this point. I am planning on anticipating my entry into P3 at the end of next week by working with the basic allergy kit (if it ever gets here! ) and then lasering the individual items (2 per day) that I know I will be eating. In the NAET protocol, it says if you have lots of allergies, you have to do the basics in a certain order before you treat specific items, and it seems to me that it would be a good idea to follow that for the lasering, too. Given how my system was thrown off by the L-carnitine, it makes sense to me to build a certain foundation first. I am curious to see how I do on my second P2 round after having treated all my allergies. I am actually very small without my fat -- only 5'0" and small-boned, so given what I see in the BMR charts that are based on height and weight, it seems that I might have to be content with smaller losses than those experienced by people who are larger than I am -- either taller or heavier. I have ordered Gary Taubes' new book and am curious to see what he says regarding the calories in/ calories out theory, which he says is not true, based on what I read about the book. At this point in time, I am willing to consider even more lifestyle changes than I was before -- mainly around eating carbs, which a growing pile of evidence suggests I might not be able to do much of ever again. I was on a low carb regimen for the past 8 years and it still was not enough for me to lose weight. Going onto HCG has opened the door on other factors and given me a tool I can work with to get the weight off. KEEPING it off will be the next challenge! ![]() To the rest of you who posted losses after my post this morning, KUTGW! You're doing great. Last edited by 1moretry; 06-24-2011 at 08:05 AM.. |

Great job! Today is VLCD1. I gained 4#s loading... I keep telling myself it is necessary! I have to say, I love the Hazelnut flavored stevia I use in my coffee. I haven't had any since my last p3. |

Camping trip cancelled until tomorrow morning, so now we will stay through Monday. Job from Monday got moved to today. I'm down 1.6 this morning! I'm .6 from my first mini goal...actually, it was the goal I set for this entire round. I'm off of one blood pressure med and one of the others is now only once a day, rather than twice. I've dodged the insulin bullet for now as well.....HCG, why did I doubt you for so long?
