Hi Cheryl!
I have a quick question! I see you are doing HCG OWL and I was wondering if I needed to reload to start that particular way of eating. I am off protocol and have been a couple weeks now but still eating low carb and taking my pellets. I read up on the OWL plan and it is MUCH more doable for me right now. Should I reload the next couple days or can I jump right in??

Thanks in advance!!

thanks, cheryl for the new thread.

connie, if you are still taking your pellets, there really isn't any reason to re-load. just switch on over to OWL.

Hello Ladies! Here's to a great week! I'll be here tomorrow morning posting my daily loss.

Are there any men on this board? I haven't seen any, but there is a large group of men at my work who've lost a combined total of 300 pounds. I don't know how many there are or how long they've been doing it, but that is amazing!

Wow! I got looking over the OWL link that Stacy posted-that is pretty much the way I have been eating! It really is similar to the old Diet Center woe-the original plan. I always lost weight really well on that plan, so I have been trying to emulate it with the hcg.

I really do appreciate the support on this site. Thank you all!

Husband got on the road today; not really sure what time he left-around 2 p.m., I think. We live in W. Washington; he was headed to Spokane area. I got a call about 5 p.m.-the work truck we just purchased broke down, and he needed a wrecker! Ugh! Poor guy. So, the wrecker comes and hauls him into Ellensburg (he was about fifty miles away). The driver gets in our work truck, and dang it if that thing didn't start right up!! Ugh. He is spending the night there, tho, and will have it looked at in the morning. My initial reaction would have been to eat. I did-a breadstick or two. I guess I fixed THAT! haha! At least it wasn't a hot fudge sundae or something!

Onward and downward...!

Hi Everyone
Thanx Cheryl for the switcharoo!!! I am getting the hang of this now!!lol
Great w/end and a beautiful Monday in Cape Town, although it is winter it is such a gorgeous day. I had a good w/end and got some exercise in without feeling the fatigue when you are on any other vlcd plan. Amazing hcg. My pants are now closing much easier and I am happy with my progress. I decided a while ago to really put everything into getting where I want to be. Although I have said this so many x before, something just clicked and I have been quite good besides a day or two, where things just seemed overwhelming. This week is going to be a clean week for me and I am going to work extra hard at everything. I have some progects which need to also be attended to and that is part of my goals this week. All part of the package.
1.)Sort out my wardrobe (this will be a mammoth task, believe me I have a serious addiction to clothes and shoes)I have started this and am about half way there
2.) Gym I must concentrate on cardio and make my strength training more interesting bought some dvd's (started this morning with cardio)
3.) Invite my Mom for the weekend (eeekkk!!! This one I am mulling over)
I love my Mom, but she is quite heavy sometimes and I don't want this to interfere with my progress or healing. (I will decide on this, but I will invoite her maybe just not right now, lol)
Sort out my Kitchen cupboards and pack everything in order and do the grocery shopping.
Take my son up the mountain and have a picnic this weekend as their holidays start this Friday, Maybe mom would enjoy this too!!

I have my week sorted. Almost. Will post on how I am triumphing
Love ya all, have a great day

Good for you!!! Emotional eating is my biggest hang up, and believe me I am famous for it. Great stuff on not doing the Hot fudge sundae thing!! I hope you feel inspired by being able to say "I am not going there"
I keep reminding myself on how awful emotional eating makes me feel and that I really don't taste anything, I just seem to do the motions of stuffing and filling trying to suppress the anxiety.

I was so hungry at lunch time. I had to literally drag myself away from the table before I ate it. Idk this morning I felt so upbeat and at lunch time I had these major hunger pangs, anyway I feel ok now and I did not over eat or anything..... Go me.

Good Monday, everyone!

This is VLCD day 21 and I am thoroughly discouraged. Its been a week since the scale moved. I have had stalls before but usually only 5 days at a time. I have not 'cheated' at all (if you can call being rogue not cheating) except for yesterday. Instead of a normal P2 lunch, I ate several chicken wings and a few small pieces of cheese. For dinner, I had a small sirloin steak and grilled veggies (I tossed these in olive oil & garlic). That's all - no sugary or carby treats. I didn't even eat my fruit or melba.

Today I will drink a lot of water & hope for that woosh tomorrow.

Have a happy Monday!

Good Morning, down .2 (my smallest loss yet), but I'm down a total of twelve pounds in only ten days! Thanks for getting us started Cheryl and have a blast with your loading days.

I can totally relate. I was stepping on the scale three times a day and after my second bm on one of those days, the scale went UP. Now, I step on it once a day.

Have a great day ladies!

Up today, but I had a couple good losses right in a row to break through my stall, so I expected a little rebound. Eating protocol as much as possible this week. I have another stupid luncheon tomorrow, and I don't know where we're going yet. I am really getting tired of the work luncheons.

maggie...i think i'm the same. have 2 days of good losses, then hang out there or -0.2 to -0.4 losses for several days, then a bigger loss for a day or two.

Yeah, it averages out. This has been a slow round for me, but I'm just going to keep trucking until I get to goal weight. I want this to be my last round until after I have a baby.

Boy, Tracy. You come up with some good tidbits of wisdom and insight sometimes. Glad you are getting the hang of following us to the new thread! Sounds like you are doing great with setting and reaching goals. Maybe you ought to wait on the "mom thing." I hear ya!

Good thing you like GY! I hope you get great results from your CD. Are you still in P3? When you coming back for another P2?

Pat, I'm sorry things are moving so slowly. I had great results from Apple Days when I got stuck for 3-4 days in a row. I know you said you don't eat fruit or melba, so that may not be a good idea for you. Have you tried any of the other CD's? I know there is a thread just about those and all the various ways we can get moving again.

Wow, ladies! I was going to quote a bunch more posts, but it was like I was just copying and pasting this entire first page, so I unquoted some.

Cathy, thanks so much! I love that picture of you in Jamaica! What an amazing sunset! And you look so tan and happy. How is the leg puffiness/dizziness/upward poundage thing going? Are you in P2 now?

Many hugs and kisses all around to the rest of you, who I didn't mention.

Loading day 1 here for R2. I'm so happy and excited! I went to the lab this morning and had my blood work drawn (had the slip since the first week on R1P2 but waited until P3 to do it. Almost waited too long!) I also re-took my measurements and fat calliper test thingy. I actually lost a bit of fat and 1/4" off my forearm and waist, and a 1/2" off my abdomen! Down from 30.1% fat to 28.6% in just the 15 days of P3. So, it's true that things continue to happen on P3, even though we work so hard to make the scale stable.

I find the calliper (and measurements, for that matter) very variable. You never quite can be sure you are in the same spot as before. So, until my ticker says I'm under 30% fat, I won't really believe it.

Have an awesome day, ladies! This week is going to be a good one for us all.

sooo, how rogue are ya?

i was missing my one minute chocolate cake. so i made a p2 version. keep in mind though that i eat any grain as long as it is 100 cal. mostly i have been eating the little sandwich thins/deli flats that are 100 cal.

but anyway...i made two versions.

hcg chocolate cupcake for one, v1

2T cocoa powder
2T oat fiber
2T wheat bran
sweetener of choice to equal 1/4 cup -- i used: 2T xylitol and 8 drops ezsweets
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
vanilla extract
1 whole large egg
2T water

combine wet and dry ingredients separately then combine. spray a bowl with non-stick spray. cover with saran wrap. microwave 1 min 10 sec.

110 cal, 6.25 g of fat (mostly from the whole egg)

Cheryl-you have been busy typing, too! Have fun with your loading!

Stacy-hope you feel better now, and have fun on your anniversary!

Daisy-sounds yummy!

So, the husband's truck got fixed; he set out on the road, and an hour down the road, it broke AGAIN! So, he called the guy who "fixed" it; he said to tap on something (it is apparently a fuel pump issue). So, it started running again. He got to the other side of that town, and it broke a THIRD time! Well, he tapped it again, it started running again, but he isn't taking any more chances-still has 3 hours left to drive to destination. He found someone to fix it, and the parts, so it should be ready to go soon. Very expensive break down!

Food-wise, normally this would have sent me over the edge. However, I have been sick to my stomach (usually stress makes me eat), so I hadn't eaten, and it was already 3 p.m. He was settled, so I went in and cooked a couple of eggs. I have had water, though.

Ok. I better figure out the rest of the day. I am going to the local casino with a friend (they are having a give-away; we will only be there for an hour or so), then my granddaughter's final choir concert for the year. Somewhere in there I have to eat...I need to hit the produce store soon-my refrigerator is M-T!

You all have a good evening. I might pop back on later!

omg, how i wish...I started at 252 in feb os 2010 and at hit 160 at the end of Feb 2011 by doing very low carb/zero carb and then went off ANY plan up until i went on the drops...i was under alot of stress and just frankly didnt care and i ate anything and everything,,,I put my eating and my health at the back burner and let life get in the way...I gained and when I started the drops my weight was 190....today it is 179....i guess i need to change my stats.....the weird thing is i have not changed clothes sizes and am still in a size 10, so think the extra pounds have just been spread evenly everywhere........sorry for the confusion...I am 5 ft 4....i will update my stats...I am happy about my loss, but would like to hit 152 to see that 100 pound down mark and then go even lower for my height

Jumping in after being gone a few weeks! I decided to do 2 weeks of hhcg rogue before I go on vacation in 2 weeks. I've been doing great during the week staying very low carb although eating a good 2500 calories, but then the weekend hits and I go crazy. Right now I'm starting at 162, which is 10 pounds over my ldw and 12 pounds from goal. I'm hoping to at least get the 10 pounds gained off by the 4th of July. We shall see!

Many new faces here since I last posted just 2 weeks ago!

i wonder what my scale will say tomorrow. had a few welcomed trips to the bathroom today after nothing for 3 days. BUT i only ate 341 calories today. had a ballgame and didn't eat supper until 9:45 pm. so it will be interesting to see what the scale says tomorrow. last time i didn't eat enough cal the scale didn't move.

my cakes were good. the eggwhite one wasn't *quite* as yummy, but definitely doable.

I had a rough day today and strayed for dinner. Immediately after I ate lunch, I had some sort of freak allergic reaction to something. I have never had that happen before, and it was a pretty swift and severe reaction, so it upset me. I have no idea what I might have eaten or come into contact with because to my knowledge I don't have allergies. I ate my normal protocol foods. So weird! I got sent home from work and dinner was my comfort. I had a salad with bacon, egg, grated cheese, with fried chicken and low fat ranch dressing. So, I'll be up tomorrow. I am going to head to bed because I am physically and emotionally tired today. Maybe some sleep will help the scale.

Everyone is doing so great! I hope y'all have a wonderful morning and the Whoosh Fairy visits!
