Did anyone lose weight on P4 with exercise?

Yes, I know that P3 and P4 are not for losing weight.

I enter P4 Sunday. After one week of P4, the timing would be great for me to load and start another cycle. My weight has stabilized nicely, and have not even had to do a CD on P3. I would REALLY like to lose more weight. I am weighing the choices.

Frankly, other than agave syrup, and a banana before a workout, I don't have the craving or need to eat more carbs. I want to WORK OUT AND TONE UP NOW! And lose weight! (and slowly is okay)

So, I'm deciding between starting another P2 round or not.

I'm curious if anyone started incorporating exercise in P4 and lost weight, (and I'm not planning on limiting calories...just upping activity). And, I'm talking about a pound a week, or at the most two.

I'm the conservative, take the safe route type. But, I find myself to be pretty IMPATIENT to get off the last 10 pounds! Thus, the indecision.

Would appreciate any feedback. Please help me to make this decision wisely!

I understand your dilema, been there. Am kinda' still there!! I don't have time for P2 until the end of July and wanted to lose another 10lbs myself. I added in exercise and weight training and hoped after a few weeks to be down a bit. I'm not, I'm up 3lbs. But I'm feeling good and strong, and can see muscles .

It could happen for you, we're all different. I'm just focusing on adjusting and resetting, and hopefully charging up my metabolism so I can lose well when I do my last P2. And I do hope it's my last P2, so I can just enjoy maintenance!! Which is fun, except for the "I wish I were 5-10lbs lighter" part .

Do you think you can lose the last 10 pounds on your own? I ask because in my case I could always get down to within 10 pounds of my goal weight but those last 10 were impossible to shed. Using HCG and following P2 strictly were the first time I was ever able to actually get there.

If you think you can do it with exercise that's great and probably preferable. If not, lose the weight and then start your exercise/weight program.

Although you're not supposed to lose weight in P3, you ARE allowed to lose in P4. I made this mistake in my first round and got really frustrated trying to forcefeed myself all the way through P4 too! I've got a final 10-15 to go myself and I think it would be fine to try and diet it off. HOWEVER I DO think there are real benefits to doing it with HCG. First, HCG is self-limiting. If you don't have any abnormal fat left to lose, the weight loss stops. Second, your body easily adapts to exercise. I would much rather have my body "set" itself through the HCG (with whatever minimal exercise I choose to give it) than have it adapt and "expect" to have that calorie burn daily just through exercise. I've had times in the past where I've gotten my body so adapted to exercise that when I took a day off exercise, I GAINED weight. KWIM? Personally, I am going to get through the two social engagements that I have then do a final short round in late July to shave off the last pounds before I head to lifetime maintenance.
