ARrrgh, up .8 overnight. Could be sodium but I feel fat today (is that such a thing?)

Plan of attack...eat light today (1300 cals), eat to BMR Sunday (1750 cals), then CD Monday, and Wednesday if needed. I'm just not willing to do a CD over the weekend. Too hard...making cookies for father's day today.

Well my P4 has ended today with .1 over LDW and 4.8 pound back from what I lost under P3-P4. Going for LC as usual under this summer and extensive training to see what happens next to my body

yes it is, Publix (if you have one nearby has a brand called Kettle that has no sugar (in any form) and is lightly salted. If your Publix doesn't carry it-they'll order it for you

Okay, I'm up today. Right at 2 over LDW but I barely got any water in yesterday, ate way too late, had a piece of cake for dessert, and weighed super early due to work this morning - so who knows! Hoping it's back down tomorrow if not I'll be doing a CD Monday (like Paula I'm not willing to do them over the weekend).

You think YOU'RE having crazy ups and downs?? I am DOWN almost 3 pounds from yesterday to land 3.1 below LDW--a weight that I haven't seen since the two VLCD after the round. I ate really late (10pm or so), got very little sleep last night, and was super stressed out yesterday. So WTH? I ate normally if a little UNDER calories for the day at around 1900. Not unhappy just confused. So now I just need a nap!

Thank you !! I don't know why I'm craving it, and nothing else. Yes, I do have a Publix I can go to.
I made it through my 2 days off hHcg with no trouble and no hunger. 1st P3 day, we went to lunch and had a wonderful salad with grilled chicken. So excited to have cukes, tomatoes, red peppers and a little bacon on it. Ate 1/2of it and was stuffed. I will have to work my calories up slowly, as I'm just not feeling any hunger.

We didn't eat anything until lunch in P2, should I be eating breakfast in P3 ?

YES, Nancy - eat breakfast. I always add eggs plus make sure I double my protein portion size for lunch and dinner. You start P3 protein deficient....

Well, my weight was up 1 pound this morning. I weighed quite a bit earlier than my "normal" but there was nothing in my diet yesterday that should've accounted for a pound - who knows. But I was still well within my window.

However, TODAY there was plenty in my diet that will cause a gain tomorrow ---- yikes. I decided to start P4, so at a horseshow watching a friend, decided to try a teensy, tiny piece of a hot dog bun. Immediate stomache ache. Had some very salty beef hotdog. Didn't drink hardly any water at all the entire day - maybe 3 cups of water total. Only potty was a porta potty - not going in there!!!! Then, at parent's in law tonight for dinner, steak and salad, all was good - was not going to eat anything else - until the strawberry pie came out. OMG. I had a very small piece, but I had one (what did I say about "testing" ONE THING AT A TIME?!!!) So I ended up my first P4 day having starch AND sugar, and NOT in trial quantities at all. Oh dear God.

I guess, lasered or not lasered, I'm doing a GY correction day tomorrow. I have no more steak LOL.....wonder how much I'll be up??? any bets!???

I start phase three tomorrow and am wondering how I will do. Phase 4 scares me to death I am sure you will recover from it quickly. You seem to have a great success record so far.

I was holding steady for about a week, but I'm up 1.4 lbs after going out to dinner last night--here's what I ate out of P3 style (but I'm 3 weeks into P4!!!!!) was one piece of bread & butter, risotto, and 5 spoonfuls of my kids' chocolate gelato.

Aaaarrghh!!!! It looks like I really can't eat ANY flour or sugar! Some days it looks like I can't even eat P3 style! I am technically 5 lbs over my LDW today (but I had adjusted my LDW up to 130 because I seemed to hover between 129 and 131). Today I am 132.4. I may do two correction days in a row to see if I can't get back down a bit.

It is just SO TIRING to try adding even one item of a flour/sugar into my diet and see such a huge weight increase. Friday night I had a slice of pizza for dinner, but only had protein shakes for breakfast and lunch, and I was DOWN a POUND the next day! But that seems like dieting to me. I don't want to have to spend the rest of my life eating protein shakes so that I can have a starch later that day, but it looks like I might have to.

I completely hear you on THAT! It can seem a bit exhausting to be constantly monitoring. BUT...the last 10 days I have been in STRICT P3 mode. No nuts, no cheese, no AF sweetened anything. And I've STILL seen fluctuations of a pound or more. I think some people (myself being one) just naturally fluctuate 1-2 pounds for no reason. I can however appreciate how unnerving it is. Do a CD and see how you feel.


In other news, my "new" weight of 151.5 seems to be holding for another day, despite no exercise (at least not the "official" kind! :blush: ) yesterday. I caught up on my sleep but also didn't drink as much water as I should have, had a really good massage (which left me a little sore), AND...wait for it...had some fudgey almond butter treats with dark chocolate on top. Not a huge amount but totally expected to see a gain this morning. Has lasering the almond butter really worked? Only time will tell. I may have a little more today and see where I land with the weight tomorrow. So, I did everything "wrong" and am still holding a weight that I haven't even been CLOSE to for a month???

Getting ready for a P3-friendly Father's Day here! Have the in-laws on the way over -- they haven't seen me since, hmmm, 25 pounds ago!

I posted the menu on another thread, but I think you can never have too much food talk, right?
  • Sun-dried tomato dip with crudite (OMG, this dip is so good that I just want to sit in the corner with the dip and a spoon -- and really easy to make, too)(If I were in P4 I'd soooo be eating this with pita chips or slathered on baguette slices . . . )
  • Tequila-lime-cilantro marinated grilled tri-tip with cherry tomato relish
  • Huge Caesar salad
  • Grilled banana split with vanilla ice cream, blueberries and strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate ganache (This is where I'll modify -- just have the strawberries and blueberries with a bit of whipped cream)
