Why no water? Yay for lots of protein but you need water to break that stuff down

I'm down another 0.2 and so now I am 1.6 above LIW. I added a little something to my menu last night, had a coconut flour/chocolate dutch baby with a little xylitol raspberry jam... so I probably ended up with about 1600 calories. 58 %fat/32% protein/10% carbs.

It looks like staying away from almost all dairy and almonds and anything commercially made with SF is working better for me.

Still waiting for that laser!
I'm glad the scale is going in the right direction for you C'Marie. Isn't it great when things start working right again! I'm also 1.6 above my LIW so I'm so happy that the scale is not moving around too much.

C'Marie ~~ Your words weighed heavily on my mind (no pun intended)

I weighed early this am and was down 1 lb, so I was at goal. We flew to FL and I went back to the scale where this all began, I was dressed and had consumed water and coffee all flight and still weighed at goal.
So I have decided to go on to P3. I am so thankful for everyones encouragement for me to continue past last Sunday (my original P3 date) so that I reached my goal.
But I'm just done !!
I have lost 16 lbs and either 19 or 26 inches

I measured ~ bust, under bust, waist, hips, thigh and upper arm. Do I count the inches from both my thighs and arms or just 1 of each ?

Off to grocery store with my new P3 list

Congratulations!!!!!

I made a horrible decision today.

The day started off fine with scrambled eggs and butter. Then I went shopping for new capri pants, shorts, and swim suit. (Fun!)

I got back to the house at 6 p.m., having not eaten since breakfast. (Bad move!) While I was waiting on my husband to come home from work so I could cook our steaks, I ate some cooked cabbage on a very empty stomach. BAD. MOVE.

Horrible pain!!!!! It's stomping around in there and causing such PAIN! I took some acidophollis and I'm going to bed. I don't want to eat cabbage again for a long, long time.

p.s. Despite the pain, I did manage to eat my entire steak, and it was glorious!!!!!

My day ended up with higher calories than I've had in awhile.

1,743 cals
114.2 fat grams 54%
67.7 carb grams 14%
149.7 protein grams 32%

I had a HUGE steak at least ten ounces, for a late dinner, followed by 300 calories of coconut milk sf icecream. YUMMY. Hope it's ok - it's one of the sweetners I haven't had much trouble with, a teeny bit of erythritol, some chicocory root extract, and monk fruit extract (SO Delicious brand SF coconut milk fudgy treat and same brand coconut milk vanilla ice cream chocolate covered treat)-the fudgy one, like a fudgsicle, only shows 2 g of sugar alcohols from the erythritol, the chocolate covered one shows 7 g sugar alcohols.

I ate one big salad today, eggs, tuna, and not quite one tbls of almond butter while I was waiting for dinner.

and I just realized I didn't have enough water today. oh dear.

Well, up almost a pound today so I think this up/down thing is part of my usual fluctuation, probably influenced more by quality of sleep and stress levels than anything else. I have been within a pound and a half of the same weight for a week now so I think that may mean I am stabilizing. I think I will try adding back the GY this weekend. I lasered it on a spoon yesterday, with a different laser, so that will make 3 times. Hopefully I won't see a gain from it if I try it again.

TGIF people!

ARGH. I did great with my GY day until about 7:00.

So zero loss. I am not prepared to do another correction day...I need to not feel deprived right now or I will go off the deep end. I do have steak defrosted and will try to make it a moderate day.

Stalking the P3 thread . . . I start here Sunday, ladies!

1) A refeed day is a method used in bodybuilding and other fat loss programs -- not part of the Simeons protocol. It involves periodic "up" days, followed by low (low calorie, low carb, or both) days. The idea is that it shocks your system and keeps it from going into starvation mode -- if your body thinks that there isn't actually a famine, then it won't hang onto every fat molecule for dear life. Some people find refeeds really successful, and others find it stalls them out -- YMMV!

2) Lasering is a technique for removing allergies and food sensitivities. It's in the homeopathic/bio-energetics world, so most doctors would call it voodoo, but others will swear it makes a difference in how they react to food. Someone else posted a detailed set of instructions on how to do it -- and there's a kit you can buy that helps you do it.

Happy Friday! I can't believe it but I've been at the same weight three days in a row now. I think I am truly stable (I really hope I'm not jinxing myself with this post). Hubby and I are going out to celebrate our anniversary today and I will probably have a little dessert to test myself.

Actually, it was the only SHORT round I've ever done. But I think the problem might be that I had a MONDO MAJOR loss of one whole pound on my LDD and didn't camp out there before moving on to p3. The calendar wouldn't let me.

Pizza sounds good!

I think I am in the same boat as you. I am a GY addict so I have trouble going a day without it. I CANNOT for the life of me have HWC. I gain every single time. I might try the laser thing with it.

THIS, THIS, THIS!!! I truly believe this is what happened to me on this round (and my last one as well). I lost one pound on my LDD and I can't seem to keep it off. (I am in incredibly slow loser.) I couldn't extend the round even by one day to lock in the loss and I gained most of it back on the 2 days with no drops. It's been an uphill battle to keep in my window (I'm on p3d17)and I'm wondering if I should just give that pound back and quit with all the CDs.

Well I'm up .8 today which puts me .4 above my window. I normally weigh after a visit from Bernice but since she didn't visit this morning I'm pretty sure that's the reason for the gain. At least that's why I'm not freaking out yet. Hopefully I will be back in my window tomorrow.

Crikey - bummer....

I'm actually down, after eating what seemed like a ton and eating late last night, and not having enough water, and only sleeping 3 hours, and being completely, utterly stressed out about something personal. I have no idea why my weight would be down but today it's a gift. Literally.

I'm supposed to start P4 today, I don't think I will have any starches/sugars but I did just have some turkey bacon which has some sugar in it, and I did have a sprinkle of cheese (literally) on my eggs, and I did have some (like 1/2 tbls)of HWC in my coffee - been having just that much of HWC my last 3 days.

The way I feel, I should be having tequila for breakfast, but I won't go there.

It appears the coconut milk SF ice cream agreed with me, as did the mondo steak I ate last night. The only other addition I have had 3 days running now that my weight has dropped has been the HWC, a literal sprinkle of cheese, a half an avocado, and like 6 macadamia nuts. Maybe one of those things is helping?

Oh, and I didn't exercise the last 2 days. Hope THAT's not why my weight is down. I really need to do it today and every day. My daughter's home from college and likes to fall asleep on the couch in front of the tv and then I don't feel like I can exercise in the morning before work on it and wake her up - but I'm going to have to. Can't let that stop me.

If you're driving yourself crazy with the CDs I would do that. I had to one of my rounds, because of the ^^^^above.... which is why I post that for everyone's consideration. Unbelievable how stressful one pound can be. That's why I purposefully went 2 pounds past my mini-goal of 100 pounds, so even if I was up the 2 I have "license" for I have still my 100-pound loss. BTDT don't like it one bit. That happened to me on almost every round so on R5 I finally learned my lesson.

Wow!!! Am I late to the P3 thread party or what?

Oh man! I've been participating regularly on another P3 thread, and this one just passed me right by.

So happy to have found you all!

I have one more week to go on P3. I'm DYING to get back to losing - (there is a certain "high" about it, isn't there?); but I don't think I want to mess with a good thing.

My two weeks on P3 has gone ok for how things go in "Red's World." That means that a day before my TOM I went up 3 pounds, and I am still up. I'm doing my best not to freak out and if things are normal; I'll go back down after TOM is over.

Nancy; congratulations on reaching goal!! :-)

SOOOOOO so so grateful to have found this forum. I look forward to being as supportive and kind as ya'll have been.

Thank you everyone for all your good wishes.
Wanted to find almond butter, cause it seems my only craving is peanut butter. Found Blue Diamond but it contains "evaporated cane juice" I wondered if this was a derivative of cane sugar?
Yesterday went very well, wasn't hungry at all, cocktail party last nite, ate a chicken lettuce wrap before and drank my tall glass of water. Today was an all day outing on the waterway. Once again drank my water all day, ate some stone crabs. Wore my 2 piece bathing suit
I am nervous about tomorrow, as everyone has said, the 1st day of P3 seems really scary. P2 was so rigid and now we are left to making our own choices !!!

Nancy, I felt EXACTLY the same way. I loved P2, (as crazy at that sounds), because I didn't even really have to think! One of about 4 choices for proteins, and one of about 3 of my favorite choices of veggies.

For everyone here that I've read about - it does happen easily.

And I'm sure you know the drill. Eggs. and just increase the proteins and fats. More of the same veggies - or that's what I did. I had to learn to READ INGREDIENTS ON EVERYTHING! And I had to use some detective skills to find the mayo and ketchup I needed, (because I have no DNA chromosomes for cooking in my entire body).

You'll do great!!

BTDT don't like it one bit. That happened to me on almost every round so on R5 I finally learned my lesson.
I had a thought last round that this was what was happening. So glad to see I'm not alone! Thanks so much C'Marie! I'm going to see what tomorrow brings and decide on the CD or the one pound.
