Welp, I ended up having to eat out today for dinner so I did the best I could.
I ate 2 chicken drumsticks and 2 boiled eggs for brx/lunch combo then I went to Carl's Jr. for dinner and had a lettuce wrapped bacon guac burger with no sauce, just the cheese and bacon and guac 810 calories just for that! (dangit, just realized I wasn't going to eat cheese and I did) and a side salad with about a tablespoon of dressing. Then the salad is like 125, and I had the blue cheese dressing but very little.... looks to me like 1600 or so total for the day. Maybe another correction day is in the making for me tomorrow. UGH. I cannot WAIT for my laser to get here!

Had a nice workout yesterday and am up about 1lb as a result. We bought a new scale which reads .4 lower than our old scale and that is making me crazy
. Going to be out in the heat for a few hours today --It's 7:15 am and my outdoor thermometer already says 87 degrees. Past experience tells me that I'll probably retain at least 2 lbs of water no matter how much I drink, because of the heat today---I just hope I can keep it from driving me nuts for a couple of days till it goes away . Going to see if I can find our laser and laser us some flour this week too![]() |

Ok so I am down a half pound today after apple plus no GY yesterday. (I know you were all waiting with baited breath...
) I just re-lasered the GY and I'll stay off it the next couple of days and then try it again and see. Conference today and I'm just more in an eff it sort of mood about lugging all my food with me. I may take a few snacks but damnit Jim! I'm in P4! (as C'Marie would say)--I SHOULD be able to make careful choices from whatever buffet thing they have for lunch.Got a decent night's sleep last night, thank goodness. I just can't do it (or do it well, anyway) on 6 hours of sleep. Exercise, food, catboxes, work. Have a great day fair ladies (and Stampe, if you're still lurking!). |

I'm up .2 this morning but still in my window so no big deal. Especially since I had an extra handful of almonds last night.
I've been in my window since Friday so do you think if I stay in my window for a week it would be safe to go to P4 next week? I should have started P4 on 6/3/11 but I was far from stable then. If I start P4 on Monday that will give me a solid 2 weeks in P4 before I start loading for another round on the 4th of July weekend. That still will be 8 weeks between rounds but I just had to do 6 weeks of P3 to get stable.

Same as yesterday.
Thanks for the laser jokes ladies, y'all have really cracked me up! Can't wait to go grocery shopping tomorrow...fridge is really depleted of some fun P3 foods. I'm thinking I *need* some brie. I snuck in a tortilla yesterday, didn't seem to hurt me. I'm only on day 12 though. Shelby Good luck at that conference! Hope your weight holds steady tomorrow! |

I'm not an expert but I would think since you're supposed to be in P4 anyway two good stable weeks of P3 should be sufficient. I'll be right there with you for the next round! |

Thanks. |

Well, I'll be....
down .2 this morning. No dairy yesterday except the one thin slice of cheese on the burger. Not even milk in my coffee. I am 1.8 above my LIW. Wanting chocolate BAD - maybe I will make some coco-crack - or a chocolate mug cup - Peggy, where's that recipe? I saved it in a "note" on my computer and now can't find it -although I'm going to NOT use almond flour, I will use coconut flour until I can laser almonds. My laser got shipped yesterday! (from where, I dunno.) Raven - I'm glad to hear you've gotten stable! There's hope for me yet! Woo Hoo! Paulabob - the same as yesterday is WONDERFUL!!! Nancy - spot saved! Get to goal and get here, woman!!!! Kelli - try to stay cool. I gain in heat also. Don't let it get to you. Moonriver - holding .6 below window even with Tom? You rock! Catkin - thanks for always being encouraging Peggy - if lasering works, I'm sure glad you told us - it's worth trying!!!! I'll laugh all the way to the grocery store!!! Shelby, make good choices!!!!! ahahahahaha (line from another movie I love) Marocka - don't even threaten to do a CD until you're just above your window - it's my understanding that if you push your body like that, those remedies don't work well when you actually need them.... YMMV .... |

Warning~~~ P3 Food talk read at your own risk!!
I'm on my 15th day and starting to think about food a lot, but good p3 foods for the most part. I cant wait to try an eggplant lasagna recipe that my mom reminded me about with italian sausage and tons of cheese. In fact all of my cravings are for p3 foods, wow! Right about now I start collecting recipes and making lists of what I want to eat starting with the first day I'm allowed. And then the food porn begins, I start watching the food channel especially Diners Dives and Drive Ins, OMG I love that show. Then there's Man VS Food too. Ah, food... one day soon we will meet again.

Are we eating things like that in P3? (I start tomorrow -- want to know! If you don't want to eat sugar and MSG, you can get ground pork from the butcher and make your own with sage and spices, then it won't have sugar and MSG in it. • 2 garlic cloves • 1 shallot • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary leaves • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground sage • 3/4 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper • 1 1/2 pounds ground pork |

I am on my 15th day of p3 and would like to start posting here with you guys.
I am struggling to stay in my window this round. (This is my 4th round.) I am thinking I might be eating too much Greek yogurt. I am seriously addicted and have started making my own (which by the way is INCREDIBLE!). I am 3.4 over my window (jumped up 1.2 overnight) and am doing a CD today. Guess which one? ![]() |
