Yes, it could be that. I had a couple of whooshes last week and got below my set-point of 160 lbs. My body could just be freaking out right now.

I'll see if the shampoo/conditioner makes a difference. It did the last time I dropped it.

But I'm feeling hungry and bored with what I've been eating. This is a first in P2 for me. You think it's hormones?
I find that I am hungrier and have crazy cravings depending on my hormones. I am one of those where the "hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt" cliche applies during PMS. How are your rings fitting the past few days? Are your boobs sore? This is probably TMI, but just trying to think of some signs.

WOE: hHCG rogue...still figuring it out
so I did my weigh-in at the trainer's place last night, and lost 15 lbs. ALL of which I did with the HCG diet! hahahaha! didn't tell her that, just thanked her and left. it also confirmed that my scale is out, but I'm sticking with it as it's been what I've used for all the dieting I've done in the past few years (see sidebar stats), so I want to keep that for comparison. when I get below what MY scale says is 180, I'll reward myself...with a new scale. HAHAHA!

my sister and I went to the local sunday market yesterday, and got so much awesome healthy food. I think if I want my weight to stabilize, I'm going to have to throw berries into the mix.

Hello everyone! I'm down another two pounds as of this morning - and I added half and half to my coffee yesterday and used some Splenda. My husband said he'd lose twenty pounds for every ten I lose. I'm about seventy-five pounds overweight and he's about fifty. He lost a few and then gained them back so he's going to have to catch up with me.

A 7.6 pound loss in three days is absolutely amazing to me. Even .5 a day is amazing...that's 3.5 per week.

Nope. My boobs only hurt if I have too much cocoa and I haven't been having any of that! LOL! There's no connection that I can tell with my cycle, only cocoa. If I don't eat cocoa for months, my boobs won't hurt for months.

My rings are loose and I'm wondering how much it's going to cost to get my wedding ring re-sized.

I'm not feeling over-emotional or anything. I really wish I knew when my cycle was, because it would be helpful.

Drink a cup of green tea today, and then add an extra 20oz of water. See if you can't flush whatever it is out. Hoping the Whoosh Fairy comes tomorrow and you can go to yummy P3!

TMI warning for period stuff: You should be able to take your basal body temperature every morning and track the temps to determine sorta where you are in your cycle, since you still have your ovaries. When your temp rises, you're ovulating, and when your temp drops, your "period" would be starting. You might also be able to tell by cervical mucous changes...not sure if you need to have a cervix or not? Google fertility tracking or rhythm method if you need/want more info. There is also a forum called Hyster Sisters where you can find all kinds of information, and there are some threads on there about tracking your cycle post-hysterectomy. My mom had one a few years ago and I found helpful information for her on that site.

Thanks! I relied on HysterSisters heavily during the time of my hyst and recovery. It's a great site! No cervix left, so that method wouldn't work. But I could try the temp. thing.

Thanks!

I hope you bust through your stall soon. Definitely keep at it! You're so close now.

A couple of different things this round: I'm using pellets this time (no special reason) and I'm exercising. We'll see what happens. Last cycle I went over a 21 day cycle and I really struggled at the end. looking back at my notes, I see I pretty much stopped losing around VLCD21 anyway. So it makes good sense for me to make this a standard cycle and not put myself through all that drama.

Good thoughts to all today!
Good luck this round! Let us know if you think the exercise affects your losses.

Nice losses! You're awfully loyal to that scale! I just got a new one this Spring. It is nice but very touchy. I leave it in one place and don't ever move it.

Yea! Is DH going to do hcg or something else? That sounds like a very nice deal he made with you. Then when you are both lean, lively and vibrant, look out!

Hi! I'm on R1P2 VLCD2 and am down 2.6, my load weight went up 2.8 so I'm thriiled!! I'm feeling a *little* hungry, and had a slight headache but from what I read that's pretty normal. I honestly think it's the psychological aspect of not eating that is making me hungry! I am so excited after lurking for so long that I actually get to post my journey!

Thanks!

Gosh, its busy in here and at work. We are having a population explosion at work. Lots of new babies.

It's so much easier to stick to a plan during the week. I am so busy at work I don't notice not eating and there isn't anything around I can nibble on, except what I bring. On the weekend I tend to want to "cheat" even though I hate using that word.

Weight is stable this morning and that's ok. Glad to see some losing so well.

I understand the set point thing that's for sure!!

I couldn't face another chicken salad dinner, so I shook things up this evening.

I took four egg whites and one yolk and made a sort of . . . sweetened scrambled egg. I added a packed of Stevia, a dash of vanilla extract, and a dash of lemon juice and wisked it all up then scrambled it. As it was cooking it smelled like ice cream cone, but it didn't quite taste as good as one. It was 'okay' and I sprinkled a little cinnamon on top. It could have used more sweetener, but I didn't want to push it.

It was something different and at this point, different is good.

Hey, Liz and Donna. Sorry you're getting burned-out on the menu, Beezer. It happens. That's why I ate ground beef and rotel everyday! It was filling and tasty.

Welcome, Melissa! You sound like you're off to a great start and we're happy to have you with us! Our stats are similar. Are you far from goal right now? I see those ?'s in the "now" space so I don't know if you are carrying on from another plan. Many of us turn to Hcg after eons of doing Atkins. We get itchy for speed!

Tired this evening, after cleaning and shopping. Tomorrow I hit it again! I hope everyone has a great night. Peace and safety to all. (((HUGS)))

No, I asked him and he's doing plain old portion control. Maybe when he sees me get slim, it will motivate him. He is truly amazed with my loss, but not enough to do HCg himself.

I changed my beginning weight pre-load to 223.6 so my total loss is 5.6 - still truly amazing! Is this what you all do?

I feel the same way. I have been "cheating" every weekend. This is the only round out of the 4 that I've done that. The first three were hardcore straight and narrow protocol. I could kill for a slice of pizza the last few days.

Guys can do that. Just skip a meal a day and drop lots of weight. Or switch from regular soda to diet soda and totally transform their physiques. It just ain't fair!

I went back and forth in the beginning, whether to count the load weight or not. Then finally I just decided to count it. If it went up before the load I'd be counting it, if it went up during the diet I'd be bawling my eyes out about it, so I just said, "I'm counting it." And that was the end of the story.

How much longer do you have to go on this round? Maybe you should slide into P3 the first chance you get and do another P2 when you're head and heart are really in it. For some reason, this is sounding like the toughest round for you. Maybe you need to just wrap it up and start fresh again in a few weeks. Is that an option? At least in P3 you could scalp a few slices of pizza! I haven't done that yet, but I would if it was here in front of me. Oh, yes I would.

Thanks, Cheryl. I was going to go until I got to my goal weight. I am 13.7lbs from goal, and I am ovulating right now so it's not helping the scale or my cravings/hunger. The problem is that I was very close to goal at the end of R3 (132lbs, goal was 125), but I didn't stabilize and gained it all back. I don't have another round in me mentally, even with a P3/P4 break, so I'm just going to have to buckle down and push through.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I could eat the sofa. I don't know if something happened to my drops on the trip to New Orleans or if my body is just 'done' this round.

I feel . . . crazy for food right now.

I'm planning on stopping tomorrow, doing my two days of 500 cals and moving to P3 on Thursday. It's been a good round and I think I'm just done.

Donna ~ I'm still in P2. My last weight lose was 06/07. I stayed the same all week. I lost some inches when I measured Sunday, which was really great. I was going to decide this morning to stay or go to P3. I had a .8 loss So I'm going to stick it out until goal.
I really think because we are so close to goal, our bodies are just adjusting to the losses we had.

If I wake up tomorrow morning to a huge loss, maybe my feelings will change. But right now I'm scratching at the walls to go to P3.

(It didn't help that I cooked steaks for my family tonight. My husband saw the longing in my eyes and said that I shouldn't cook for them again until I go into P3. )

I have a signature now, but I can't get a ticker to work. It's infuriating! Time for bed. I'm going to dream about pizza.

Hi, Tracy! Nice to see you again. You sound like you're doing really well and are in a good place right now. That's wonderful and we are all so happy for you. I think we've all let a lot of time slip through our hands by being overweight and struggling with our demons for so long. But that is all behind us. And AMEN to the part you put at the end!

Thank you Cheryl!! Your too kind and yes your words are helping me today. Just your encouragement and knowing you have had your own issues,(hope u don't mind me mentioning) thanks so much. Idk if anyone ever has f...it moments but today I am having plenty

Here are my positive thoughts to help keep me on track!!

1. I have to change my stats because I weighed in and then double checked three days in a row!! I decided to take it!!! (ok my ed makes me obsessive) I am down 3lb. It is slow but I am ok with this because I have only 2.2 lb left to lose and my plan which is mainly stillmans with a l/f coffee thrown in here or there is just fine for me. i am not really restricting calories all that much either. Just portion control is priority because of my binge eating. Yesterday I only ate when hungry which was in the evening. I had chicken fillet (2x small) wrapped with lean smoked bacon and a few pieces of beef jerky later (sugar free) I of coarse had to add the hot stuff which I love
I am giving myself a pat on the back and remembering it feels ok to be me.

Oh!! I just thought I have to share this Quote I read (just cannot find who wrote it, I will go into my history to give him/her credit): Quote by someone who inspires: "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" This makes me smile and gives new meaning to being happy in your own skin.

Luv you all!!! Have a wonderful day and prosperous day

good morning, lovely ladies!

well, i'm clipping right along at that fast pace of another 0.4 down. heehee... down even a little is still better than up or staying the same, so i'll take it. am definitely seeing changes in the mirror, too, which is nice.

sorry you're feeling such hunger all of a sudden, beezer. i dealt with bad hunger early on....not fun.

tracy...congrats on your 3 lbs! how tall are you?

I think you're wise to stop now and maintain for awhile. Will make it that much easier when you're ready for a quick round2.

I really think because we are so close to goal, our bodies are just adjusting to the losses we had.
Yay for .8! Hope you lose those last piddly pounds quick!

.4 is awesome! Small, but real weight.

I'm up .2 today but still in my maintaining window.

R4 VLCD Day 15 - no change today. I am into my every other day loss pattern. I made a lovely soup for lunch - chicken oriental with spinach, bean sprouts & pea pods. Something to look forward to in a couple of hours.

As of yesterday, I am 0.2lb from 1/2 way to goal. I started this journey on 1/3. I am finding this so hard to believe! Never thought I would see a number that didn't start with '2' but I am very close now. After this round, I will do another round in August & then again in October. Then I will take the holidays off. It will be interesting trying to maintain over the most food-centric time of year.

You can say that again, dazy.

Beezer, why can't you have steak too? I eat it a few times a week as well as plenty of ground beef.

Missouri & Midwest - KUTGW

Cheryl - How's that P3?

Have a great Tuesday!
