Agave is sugar, composed of fructose and glucose, with slightly less glucose than table sugar. It is very SLIGHTLY less glycemic than table sugar because of the smaller amount of glucose but it impacts blood sugar almost as much and has exactly the same number of calories. The biggest "advantage" is for vegans because, unlike honey, no animals are involved in making it.
It is a definite NO for P2 and P3 as Liz states. |

tread very carefully. it's concentrated fructose, and some believe isn't much better than high-fructose corn syrup.
