Starting P2 tomorrow, wish me luck!
Well, after doing my research *and* lurking around here for a while, I'm ready to get this show on the road.
I'm on my 2nd loading day today and starting VLCD1 tomorrow. Hopeful, but skeptical. Excited, but worried. Inspired, but cautious. Only my husband and sister know I'm doing this plan, and I've thoroughly enjoyed some of the responses posted here when you guys have been asked what kind of plan you're following once others noticed your body changing. I think my favorite is "Oh, my hair's just longer" lol. ![]() Man, I hope I can make this work for me. ![]() |

Can I join?
This is the second loading day for me and I will be starting VLCD1 tomorrow for phase 2. Wish me luck and any suggestions are welcome however, I still have had some hunger today. I am so afraid I'll be starving tomorrow and cave. Anyone had any side effects. I felt a little nausea and a lot of fatigue but it seems subside a couple hours after taking the drops.

what C'Marie says---good luck to both of u----i am extending my first round-- it is working so well----i remember being a little hungry about the first 3 days, but you can work through it---drink water or have some tea it really helps----i am doing protocol---read up on some of the recipes to, that is a big help

Totally what C'Marie says.
I have had great success in cooking up 6 meals at a time and putting them in containers. Grab and go and no reason to be caught unawares. Also, a friend of mine not doing HCG put a pic of her at her biggest on the fridge door. So any time she is tempted, the first thing she sees is that pic. |

Thanks for all the tips! I'm not hungry at all today even though I lost weight this morning (after 2nd load day...thought I'd gain?)
Anyway, I have a question - I know lots of you don't eat the Melba toast/breadstick but for those who do, where did you find them? Do I need to go to a health food store? Couldn't find them at publix or walmart, so thought I'd ask before I wasted more gas lol. |

My Publix has them, but I had to kinda hunt for them. I'd call around first.

I have a loss! I'm thrilled, but my head is killing me, so I'm going back to bed. Wanted to post my numbers though -
Beginning wt - 199 Load day 1 - 203.1 (+4.1) Load day 2 - 201.4 (-1.7/+2.4) VLCD1 - 199.8 (-1.6/+.8) These are posted after the fact, as in after my first load day, I weighed 203.1 so I hope I'm doing the posting part right. The first number is the daily stat and the second is total loss/gain from beginning weight. |

my beginning weight was 155 loading day number 1-157(+2) loading day number 2-159.5(+2.5/+4.5) VLCD1-157(-2.5/+2) I'm copying myrnas' format. Thanks myrna and good job on the loss. We can do this! |

Great losses myrna, sorry about your headache but I'm sure it will end soon. I had a bad headache once when I started the Atkins low carb diet but for some reason I'm not having it now, praise the Lord! I am at 155 which is -2 from yesterdays 157 which mean I am now as my beginning weight. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I am just starting too and will be hanging around, posting, lurking, etc. on the hcg threads, trying to keep motivated. Today is load day 2. Wish I was hungrier, so I could really enjoy it. good luck to all of us with hcg!!! |
