Opinions please? LDW vs. after 72 hours
According to the book, we are to use our LDW on the morning of the last day of HCG as our set point from which we are not to gain 2 pounds.
Here's my question: ![]() If you had a lower weight at the end of your 72 hours after ending HCG, which did you use for your set point? I have a 3 pound difference. Just curious if everyone is going by the book here or if many choose the lower weight. Thanks ahead of time for any input! ![]() |

I chose the lower weight-- I was down by one pound at the end of the 72 hrs. I felt that since the hcg was still in my system that was pretty logical
Good for you being down 3 lbs!!![]() ![]() ![]() |

I completely understand the desire to have a lower ldw--REALLY I do! But seriously, this is just wiggle room for the inevitable weight fluctuations of P3/4. As an example, I GAINED 3 pounds my last two days of P2 from 151 to 154. I took 154 as my LDW and boy am I glad I did! I have been stabilizing around 154-155. If I had taken 151 as my LDW, I would have been doing a correction day practically every day. As it is, I've had to do a couple when I hit 156-158 but I am sure glad I had my "cushion". I'll get back there again and I generally "count" those pounds as part of my total weight lost.

I am on the side of your LDW IS just that--what you are the day of your last dose. Anything you lose afterwards is just a "cushion" for your P3. Enjoy!!!

I use my weight on the date of my last injection as my LIW. I typically do go down during my 72 hours, but when entering P3...you want that wiggle room! I get wanting that lower number, but its only a number...a number you will blow past on your next P2!! Enjoy your P3!

Thanks you guys :-) I am so impressed with the level of support here! I hope to be able to return some as well.
I am drawing the conclusion that this is a case of knowing one's own body habits and patterns and choosing what's best. I felt like I needed to hear from a whole bunch of people in order to get some sort of average - so thanks! |

my LIW was yesterday at 212.6, and today I'm up .8, I think it's due to TOM lurking, water retention....I wish I could use todays weight LOL but I'm going by the book and if it is only water then it will come right back off!! Good luck to you, KUTGW!! |
