Just got back from my 25yr highschool reunion. I wore the halter dress! I got a lot of compliments on it.
This weekend has been non-stop. We went to the Rush concert in New Orleans Friday night and then walked down Bourbon Street (which I thought was smelly, but my husband enjoyed it.) He got a Hurricaine and I drank water. I brought my boiled chicken breast and ate it in the hotel room. I haven't weighed myself yet. (Didn't bring the scale on the trip.) I've been so good these past two days, but I haven't gotten adequate sleep. Can't wait to see the scale tomorrow!

beezer, sounds like you had a great weekend!
was the same weight as yesterday. but i only ate about 300 cal. i just was. not. hungry. could this have contributed to no scale change? i also didn't sleep the best. i just could not fall asleep...like i had drank a bunch of caffeine, but i hadn't. speaking of not feeling hungry. when you get like that, do you eat all your calories regardless of whether or not you feel physically hungry? that goes against my thinking, but also know that not enough calories can cause problems too. right now i am eating my eggs and feel no hunger what's so ever. what's even weirder about yesterday is i was helping mom move into her new house yesterday so was more active. |

I had not been dieting prior to my load days and I did not gain any weight due to them. I don't think it showed up later, as I had losses all the way.

can lack of sleep make you retain water? ha! I've had 4 crazy fun nights in a row, with hours of walking in the past two (including a TON of stairs, long story), and today I feel bloated, despite good fluid intake and really not eating much (thanks to having too much fun to bother eating). bah! still loving P3 though.
it just dawned on me now...I had a hot dog (getting rid of the bun) yesterday. it was japadog, so it wasn't too salty, but I'd bet it was full of sodium regardless. putting the YUM in SODIUM, I tell ya. ha!

I hope you have a great round, Mis-Lib! (What do you want us to call you?) I'm the same weight as yesterday, but that's good news, since I'm on P3. Perhaps I've finally stabilized? We shall see what tomorrow brings.

I am disappointed with the scale. 156.8 lbs. That's up .4 lbs. from Friday. So I guess it's because I didn't get enough rest and enough water. Also, there was that one night of use of a 'glycerin containing product' and that stalled me before. (But it was worth it!!!!
) I've told my husband I only have about one more week on P2 and don't want to stall anymore, so he needs to stay away from me until P3. LOL! I'm looking a lot better these days, so it's more difficult to keep him away. ![]() So today I'm going to hit the water hard, get in all 500 calories, and rest. I would like this week to be my last week of P2. I'd like to reach 150 lbs. or as close to it as possible. My body is very close to where I want it to be. ![]() Here I am, last night after the reunion: 034.jpg |

Hello everyone!
Today is R1P2VLCD3 and I've lost 5.6 pounds. I am going to do a little bit rogue and am adding half and half to my coffee. I'm having one cup today and don't see how that will make that big of a difference. If it does, I'll cut it out. Please share what your losses were like when adding cream to your coffee. I cant stand black coffee. ![]() TIA! Last edited by Violet_Dream; 06-12-2011 at 10:25 AM.. |

i just made the best salad dressing!
the other night i made my own sf strawberry jam. it turned out really well for my first jam ever. ![]() anyway....was getting my lunch ready (again...not even a little hungry, but ate anyway.) i took 2T of my jam, 1T bragg's raw apple cider venegar, and 3 or 4 T water. tasted soo yummy! i might do 2T vinegar next time, could have been a tad tangier. anyway, just wanted to share. |

It must feel great to be close to where you want your body to be! It didn't take you long at all, huh! Hcg is miraculous stuff. Oh; and in the gycerin department, have you considered trying VCO? I know people eat VCO on P2 so using it "that way" should also be fine. I can't speak from experience (in either way) on VCO in P2. ![]() Quote:
WTG on the losses so far! I never had any dairy at all during P2. I really missed it in my coffee at first, but I got used to it and soon I was enjoying it black with ez sweetz. I drank plenty of it, too! Give your taste buds a chance to adjust and see it you can learn to like it black. If not, you'll just have to keep the quantities very low, like you have been doing.Star, I'd be all "funned-out" too! What is UFC? Last edited by CherylB; 06-12-2011 at 11:42 AM.. |

I've been using Bragg's raw apple cider vinegar and tamari (natural soy sauce) with large ground black pepper. It's wonderful with cubed chicken over salad greens! |

Donna ~~ Great Picture You Look Fantastic
![]() We started the same day. I was going to take my last doses today and start P3 Wed, but I'm waiting to see what tomorrow brings. I am extremely excited about my losses, but I am so close to goal I think I want to continue on P2. I haven't had any real losses since this past Tues. When are you planning to go into P3? |

![]() I want this to be my one and only HCG round. I'm very close to my goal and I think I should be able to attain it this round. I hope this coming week is my last week. While I'm not hungry, I do miss my LC foods like steak and bacon. As for the cream in coffee: I had some black coffee with a small dash of saccharine while in New Orleans and it was surprisingly good, after being off dairy for three weeks. I'm going to try to not go back to my 'heavy dairy' ways when I return to LC. (I was consuming at least 1/2 cup of HWC daily.) |

![]() I'm going to go at least through Friday, then Sat & Sun would be my no HCG but still 500 cal. days. BUT, I'd like to get to 150 lbs. and be done with it. So I may go longer. So the answer is, I am trying to go until 150 lbs., however long it takes. I'm 6 lbs. away. (And afraid of P3! What if I blow up again?! I'm sure everyone fears P3.) I would suggest that you keep right on going in P2, as well. You're so close! Finish this round and then rock P3 and P4 and see what your diet will be like for the rest of your life! It's so exciting, and it's you that's near goal, not me! When it's me that close, I'll be coming out of my skin with excitement! Sorry about your Gramma. Homemade deodorant:
Ingredients: 5-6 Tbsp Coconut oil 1/4 cup baking soda 1/4 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch If your coconut oil is 'set up' you should warm it a little bit to make it liquid so everything mixes well. It will firm up after mixing. I keep mine in a Rubbermaid container with a screw-on lid. I run the back of my finger through it so I collect some on the back of my fingernail and then smear it on. It works great! If you get any kind of irritation, you should use less baking soda in your mix (so add more of the other two ingredients to correct your mix.) But I've never had irritation with this mix. If you use natural coconut oil it will have a slight coconut smell, if you use refined coconut oil it will have no smell at all and you could add a drop of any essential oil you like the smell of. (But don't go overboard with essential oils because they can cause irritation too.) I've always just left mine without scent. I love this stuff and have been using it for about 1 1/2 years. At first I was paranoid that it would fail me and I kept sniffing my pits throughout the day, asking my family if I smelled. (I didn't! LOL!) Now I just use it year-round with confidence. It has never messed up my clothes or anything. The coconut oil just soaks into your skin. |

Thanks, Beezer! I copied and pasted it into an email for later consideration. You are a sweety. Thanks for sharing.
Where is a good place to buy essential oils? A little scent might be nice. My VCO has that faint coconut scent and flavor. Maybe that would be enough of a scent for the summertime! |
