Oh, Cathy! You look wonderful! What a beautiful and fun trip! Thank you for sharing with us. I hope you are feeling better soon and they figure out the leg swelling.

Cheryl - Glad the bathroom issue is better, and that company stood behind their product and are sending you a free replacement!

Donna - Great whoosh!!!!

Marie - I hope the Whoosh Fairy visits you tomorrow. No loss is better than a gain!

Daisy - I hope you're feeling better. Let us know how things are.

I am ready to get the next few days on the road. I looked back at my charts and in R2, I ended at 138 and then in R3 it was a huge set point that took me 8 days to break through. I am 139.6 today, so we will see what happens. I was stuck at 143, which wasn't a set point before, so maybe (hopefully!!!) I will blow through 138.

nice....my post disappeared.

thank you for asking, bierarsch. i actually feel *fine*....it's just really annoying to have tingly hands. just wonder what it's from.

hunger has been amazingly sparse today. it shocks me still, that i can eat only 500 cal and not feel ravenous. boggles the mind how those 9 tiny little pellets can do that!!

cheryl...it's baseball season here!! so 5 out of 6 nights we are at the ball fields. i love watching them play. so for me, anyway, i'm sparse in the evenings.

You're doing P2 in a ball park, 5 out of 6 nights??? My hat is off to you, missy. Maybe your tingly hands have something to do with gripping a bat every night in your dreams? Could be!

so today was day 1 of P3 (or the last bits of VLCD w/o HCG), and HOLY MOLEY am I hungry! I didn't realize what a difference the HCG made. and I had a moderate sized dinner (after barely eating all day thanks to keeping things VLC) and was full beyond full WAY before I would have been before! I have to admit, I'm pretty stoked about that.

half day of work tomorrow, yay. less money, boo.

Cathy Welcome back from your trips and thanks for all the photos. How lovely it was!

Last night was watching Wall-E with the kids, after DD was done swimming with friend. I went trampolining with her too. Summertime fun!

She is finally starting to sleep past 6:30. Pheww! DS, as usual, has to be woken up or he would sleep till noon every day. Took him and his girlfriend to the park yesterday for a "date", while DD and I watched Kung Fu Panda. I'm not at all happy to have my 14 yo so involved with a girl.

Cathy! Hey woman! Your trip sounds a-mazing. /jealous/ The photos are great! You both look very happy. Your DH is a tall drink of water, eh? That swelling thing sounds unreal though. I hope they can figure out the cause.

Paula, I comletely understand about the teenager thing! I have been through 2 girls, and it was stressful!! I have a 14 yo son (15 in about 2 weeks) but he does not seem to be nearly as social as my girls were. He is more into online World of Warcraft game! UGH! Not sure which is worse!! dating or stupid video games! LOL

I am happy to report that it was 90% all day yesterday and so far so good this morning on the swelling. Now, If I could get my weight back, I would be in business I think!!

That's good news that the swelling is gone. Do you have more Dr appts?

Are you P3ing for a while yet? I have decided to cut my P3 short (2 weeks long) and head back into P2 so I can P3 again by July 4. We'll see how it all pans out for me this way. I know I *could* just keep trucking in P3 anyway, but if I try it this way there's a good chance I'll be lighter by July 4.

I wrote a post but it disappeared... Oh well. DS 14 (15 in october) and DD 11 (12 in october). Awkward ages for them both...and for me!

DS will start high school in the fall, and DD will start the intermediate school. They both want to grow up way too fast for me. Think I'll switch my avi back to the one from last fall with both kids.

Still riding the whoosh slide! Another pound lost today!

I'm taking the strapless bra I bought last week back to the store today to get a smaller size.

I'm seeing big changes in my body now. My arms and legs are noticeably thinner to me. When my thighs get to the right size I will be DONE!

I have to decide how much boob I will give up for more loss of upper thigh fat. It's a delicate balance.

I was up 20 lbs (mostly water I am sure) but I jumped straight back onto P2 as an "interruption" rather than continue on P3. I want that scale to get back down as soon as possible... The Dr. wanted to do a CAT scan of my abdomen and pelvis to look for a tumor blocking blood, but I told her I would rather wait and see at this point, and the swelling was mostly down yesterday so we will see what happens today. If it stays down, then I will not have it done. The last little bit otherwise is the dizziness.... feels like motion sickness, although I have been home since MOnday night. I wish this would stop too! Gonna try for my normal exercise today. Went to Turbo kickboxing last night and I had like hardly any energy (only a week of not exercising) and my feet were killing me. But this morning after I take my truck to the dealer, I am going to run on the TM and see how that goes too! I would rather eat P3 but I am on day 3 of shots again already, so I am going to roll with it. I hate P2 LOL (other than losing weight)

My DD is also 11 (just turned in May) and she'll start middle school in August. I wish I could say "Fall" for the start of school! Ridiculous! Luckily, she is not in a hurry to grow up. Yet.

Had to about awkward ages for you. I so get that! My boy is only 8 so I am not to awkward with him. Yet.

Yikes, woman! Your feet may have hurt because of the swelling, even if was gone now. I know Dr appts are no fun, but I wish you'd go anyway! The dizziness, low energy and swelling are all concerning. Take care of yourself, missy!

How long were you in P3 before your trip? I am kind of treating my P3 as an interruption in that I won't load before jumping back in. Saturday is my day! I will miss the food choices but I can't wait for more weight to go!

I am in the same boat. I am down 9lbs and already see my boobs deflating. I lose from the top downwards, so I am giving up boob to lose belly, butt, and thighs. I am not happy about it.

+.5 today. Back in the 140s at 140.1. WTH is going on????? I don't get it. This has been the worst round as far as losing. I am getting seriously frustrated.

Thanks, Cathy. I can't believe how well this plan has worked for me and I'm so thrilled that I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a try for myself. I'm a believer now! It really WAS quiet last night on this thread. It was like a Ghost Town.

I thought I was going to feel hunger again once the hcg left my system but honestly, I feel as hungerless as when I was taking the pellets.

I'm laughing while reading about all you Mom's and your kids. Raising children is the biggest challenge of our lives. (Speaking for those of you who had children. I only got a taste of it when I was a Step-Mom to a teenage boy for six years.) DS is young, but it's cute that he has a love-interest. I did at that age, too. Hormones were raging. Oops! Don't want to make you worry more.

I didn't mention that Cathy, but I was thinking your hubby was quite the hunk, too. He looks like a real sweetie, too. Is he? Lucky you! And lucky him, to have you too.

Back on P2, eh? It's probably not a bad idea. I'm glad the swelling has gone down a lot, but the dizziness is a bad sign. Please do follow-up on all these symptoms if they linger much longer. And if they ever return in the future, think of them as "returning" and not just some isolated incident.

I'm pretty sure I'll be making my first P3 only 2 weeks long, too. That's funny that you said that. I know I'm going to want to eat off-plan for the 4th of July, so if I do a full 3 weeks of P3, I'll only be back on P2 for 1 week by the 4th. I don't think that's a good idea to go off-plan only a week into it. So, better to cut P3 short by one week.

That's interesting that both of their birthdays are in October. Are their dates close, too? I had two sisters (one passed) who were born three years apart but on the same day! Back-to-back babies. Pretty strange. (Love your new Avi!)

Donna, you're killing this plan! Sorry about the boobies, but it'll be worth it. Maybe you'll feel a little more comfortable in that dress now with a smaller "rack." Congrats on all your success with Hcg!

I think losing boobs to lose belly, butt and thighs is a good trade-off. I'm sorry it displeases you. I'm also sorry that you are so frustrated. How long have you been on P2 now? Nine lbs is awesome! Please try to look at the bigger picture. I know sometimes it's hard to do when we're having a bad couple of days.

I am on day 5 of P3 and I think I'm stabilizing now. I hope so!

Have a great day, ladies! Hope to see you as the day goes on. It got pretty lonely last night!

Nothing'll stop me worrying. DH & I have both discussed our own teenage hormones and been glad neither of us were teenage parents (more thru thwarted opportunities rather than sound judgement). It's such a hard age for kids! Both kids went thru a "purity" program at church six months ago, but hard to know how much of that takes.

Yes, my kids are almost exactly 3 years apart. Planned. I am one of those people that gets pregnant the first time, every time. DS was due october 18th and born the 11th, DD was due october 10th and born the 17th. She was hefty...9lb 14 ounces...then took her about 18 months to double her birth size. I am so lucky...having watched folks go thru infertility problems...am so blessed my kids were easy. I would have had more, but the second pregnancy was so miserable, I couldn't face doing it again.

I am so lucky...having watched folks go thru infertility problems...am so blessed my kids were easy. I would have had more, but the second pregnancy was so miserable, I couldn't face doing it again.
I think the Purity program will be effective, and I'm sure you will be reinforcing those values with them, being the good momma that you are. I'm so glad for you that you were able to have children so easily. I have never been pregnant a day in my life. It's seems strange to me when I hear someone say, "I think I want another baby," and then just get pregnant. They live in a world that I find hard to comprehend. But I trust God and I know that what is meant to be, IS.

DD was a chunker! My sister Donna was the largest baby of us five girls and I was the runner-up. I was an 8 pounder plus a few ounces. I think I was overdue. Mom said she had to have me induced. I liked where I was and wasn't in a hurry to go anywhere!

I highly recommend them. I use Vox brand. I think it was Pat who helped me to figure out what to order and I'm so thankful to her for steering me in the right direction!

How long were you in P3 before your trip? I am kind of treating my P3 as an interruption in that I won't load before jumping back in. Saturday is my day! I will miss the food choices but I can't wait for more weight to go!
2babes - I did go to the dr and did the ultrasounds and blood work. I just passed on the CAT scan for the moment to see what happened without the $2000 bill for it! And the swelling is basically gone now I think, so just the dizziness left!

I was in P3 for about a week, maybe only 5-6 days before I left. But did not do P3 while gone although I meant to... so I went straight back to P2 when I got home, starting my shots again the first morning and just on day 3 of shots now. Knowing me, it will be a slow climb back down, so I will remember how much I enjoyed myself while I suffer through some more P2!! LOL That will teach me right?

Back on P2, eh? It's probably not a bad idea. I'm glad the swelling has gone down a lot, but the dizziness is a bad sign. Please do follow-up on all these symptoms if they linger much longer. And if they ever return in the future, think of them as "returning" and not just some isolated incident.
Cheryl,
Yes, he is really a sweetie! He is English, so they dont do things or say things or think just like us americans either (although he is becoming pretty american anymore) been here 12 years now... I am very lucky to have him, especially after such as a terrible first marriage!!

Yes, back on P2... for as long as it takes I guess. I already want P3 back! I did not get a long enough break, but I dont like the gains either, even if a huge portion was water from the swelling, I am still 9 over my leaving weight and that was up 2 from my last weight!! So basically 11 at least. I will hang out as long as i can in P2 and see what happens! You enjoy P3 for me okay??

Well, I don't think I could have been "good" in Jamaica, either. P4 for sure, but it would still have been hard to limit pleasures when pleasure was the entire reason for going! Doing P2 again is a good thing. It will wipe the slate clean and then when you get to P3 again, you can do it strictly and stabilize as planned.

I'm glad you got yourself a good Englishman. He almost looks English, if that makes any sense. I'm English, Irish and Lithuanian. There are other things in the mix but those are the three I'm sure of. (Well, almost sure! LOL.)

Thanks!

I just got back from the bra store (Soma's) and I returned the strapless bra I bought last week. I brought the dress and the sales ladies helped me get the right bra that would 'do the job!' (I even jumped up and down to test it. LOL!)

I'm feeling more confident about my sexy dress now that I know it won't fall down! LOL!

NEW: Hubby just called to say that he just realized that the Rush concert is in New Orleans TOMORROW! He planned this months ago, bought the two tickets and made hotel reservations. (I'm so glad we can still do both the concert and the reunion!) So I'm going to have a BUSY weekend!

I'm going to pack up my boiled, cubed chicken breast, salad greens, and the organic apple cider vinegar and tamari into an ice chest. I'll just have chicken w/salad while we are there. We were originally going to stay over Saturday night too, but we have to come back for the reunion.

Legs feel much better now that I take calcium throughout the day.
