Eating late -- who knows? I don't. But, I can definitely mean that there's more food weight in your digestive system (that hasn't gotten a chance to do a Bernice) and so your weight appears up just from that.

Hang in there! Trust The Force!
Thanks! I am hanging in there.......

Have you tried melatonin or valerian to help you sleep? They are natural supplements in the vitamin section.
Hi LB, Yeah, I might have to be stricter about my eating times it that keeps happening.

As a matter of fact I just talked to my doctor about melatonin today and I'll be getting some tomorrow.

Dreamchaser, I have problems sleeping too. I can definitely relate. In maintenance, it affects things drastically too. I can't keep control of my weight very well with little sleep. And eating less than 3 hours before bed also causes me serious issues. I read something in a book that said when we eat less than 3 hours before bed, it will cause the sleep hormone to go skewy..... so I'm trying to do better than that when I can.

It can be daunting to try and stay motivated esp when you are in a stall, but you have to believe that in the end it will all come together. For ME this journey has been 90% in my mind. Once I fixed in my mind that come hell or high water this was going to work, that's exactly what has happened. I control exactly all that I can control and leave the rest up to my body and let it GO. Worrying about it didn't make a single pound or inch disappear, if that were true I suspect there would be no overweight people.

Keep eating clean and on plan, listen to your body and trust that it's going to do what it's supposed to, maybe not in your time table but it most certainly will Once that is locked in your mind there isn't a darn thing that can shake you! Stay strong toots!

I think the big improvement was that I finally got some fairly decent sleep the last couple of nights. Sleep will be an ongoing battle for me that I will have to keep working hard at in order to be able to lose well.

Load day 1 morning weight was 184.5. After my 2 load days was up to 188. This morning I was at 180.5. Feeling so much better emotionally and hanging in there staying very strict to protocol!
See how you are?!!!!

Thanks Marie. I'm sure the sleeping problems have played a HUGE factor in why I've had such a tough battle in the last few years trying to lose weight in spite of being a very dedicated low carber!

I hadn't heard that about the sleep hormone and eating less than 3 hours before bed.......wow, good to know!

I know, I know! It just kind of feels right now like I must be the only person in the universe on this plan who stayed totally strict and still managed to have a gain in the first 2 weeks!................maybe not though!
