Thanks Red! That's what I did too! I read the whole thing and I was still kind of lost. But I'm glad I found this forum and everyone who's talked to me on here is so nice! I like how supportive everyone is too. I started my drops today, so today and tomorrow are my loading days.. I realized the drops taste gross! LOL. How long am I supposed to hold them in my mouth before I swallow them? I read something about 30 seconds.. I can't remember where I read it though. And Emel, thank you.. I did read that section too.. I read all of it. The only part that confused me in that was the part about beef.

I hold them under my tongue for 1-2 minutes and then knock it back like I'm doing a shot of tequila. I find that it bypasses my taste buds that way.

Also, while everyone finds a plan that works best for them, since you are like me with A LOT of weight to lose (and the motivation to lose as much of it as possible, as quickly as possible), I recommend you stick to protocol for at least the first 3 weeks. That way you know how your body will respond to clean protocol without any unnecessary variables clouding the way. Just my $.02.

Thank you Lilac.. I plan on sticking to protocol cause I wanna do this and I'm not gonna let anything (any food, shall I say) get in the way! I do hold it under my tongue and then just do that, like a shot but it seems like it's pretty much gone by the time a minute is up, lol.. it's like it absorbs into my mouth.. is that normal?

Hmm.. that's weird then that I don't really feel it. I take 10 drops too.. I wonder why. I'm feeling a little discouraged right now because I told one of my friends about the hhcg and she sent me some article from Yahoo about how it doesn't really work and that you only lose weight on it because of the low calorie intake but I just don't see how that's true.. I've seen pictures on here. Everyone looks so good.

i'd skip the orange but the berries (i did well will ALL berries, all very low glycemic) and awsome with the grapefruit, but oranges make a lot stall and some notations that its not on the list were made, tho i saw it there myself just becareful, its very high glycemic and much sweeter than the grapefruit and i only at half of one. I gut that sucker too, eat it till its just a shell

after the liquid, might i suggest the pellets, they are awsome and in a wierd way dessert cuz they are sweet lol. You put 4 under your tongue, takes up to 3-5 minutes to disolve and after a few minutes most of us just chew them..they are yummy and i look forward to them haha

Don't be discouraged. You'll find naysayers about taking homeopathic HCG, too.

I know my drops are working because I don't have hunger. I honestly and truly don't. When I was taking Meridia years ago and eating 800-1000 calories a day, I was hungry constantly. I lost 4 lbs in one month. ONE WHOLE MONTH. Eating 800-1000 calories a day and wanting to gnaw my own arm off in hunger EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE DAYS.

I am on VLCD 32 and have lost 22.4 lbs. IN ONE MONTH. Taking basically water that has barely any hcg in it at all, and not being hungry.

If your friend can explain that to me in a way that makes it the low calories working and not the homeopathic hcg drops... I am all ears and eyes!

dont listen to her, you can find out from the net that pink aliens live in some peoples arm pits if you google it or that having your hair braided can cause tumors...or whatever. Did you also no atkins doesnt work, but i lost over 100lbls doing it...yes i gained some back but yanno, if i ate like i did after wieght watchers, i'da gained that back too! I deserved the wieght gain (tho in insulin resistant so i gain easy with carbs) i ate them, so i deserved it didnt i?

The thing is with atkins, my high was over 270's my low 165...highest gain back ever...230 ...until now...my initial loss was 10 yrs ago, so they can bite me lol, i cant say any diet has kept my wieght off better than atkins did. I never saw that high number or anywhere close to it again..ever. I bet most wieght watcher dieters cant say that. How often do you hear "i gained it back plus some"...didnt happen to me! Eventually it would, but I would just do it again and lose 20....i liked the 180 mark, it was easy to obtain, but not easy to keep...my body loves 200 210...but i am doing this because I WANT MY BODY TO LIKE 160 OR LOWER and this is how to do it! otherwise i'll just gain it again with the first piece of bread i eat! I want to be able to eat occassionaly what i want without freaking out...this is the answer to moderation with the occassional indulgence NORMAL people get to enjoy without sudden fluid retention and wieght gain...and even the horrible cravings.

I think the p3 and p4 are soooooooooooo important because they FORCE YOU TO BE AWARE of what your body is doing without hte hcg and on a more normal diet. You are forced to take note on 2lbs gains etc and how you may react to say white rice or mexican foods...or if your someone who can have a "normal' meal of carbs/fat and protein or if your the person who has to do low fat with their carbs and high fat with thier protein....etc. This is why hcg works so well...resets your brain to its favorite wieght and gives you time to learn and not mess up your metabolism

We do get some here who post asking questions that haven't done a stitch of research, and we do try to answer their questions, for sure - but it's much easier if you've done some homework yourself. Glad you are getting edumacated....

So go have some Tequila for me, wouldja, since you're over 21
I'm trying to hold my weight down in my first 2 weeks of maintenance and throwing one back right now is not in the cards.

That's how I knew mine was working also. I'm Irish and Scottish. My slim body has some nice curves, but my 30-40 pounds overweight body looks just like those pictures you've seen of the Stockey- big backed - hard working Irish washer-women. LOL I can work your farm, I can haul in those potatoes!!

Along with that, I've always had the appetite of a loggerman.

HCG - gone for the most part. If I was hungry, I could always eat. I ate every 3 hours.
AND it lasted for 3 days after I finished the drops. I was stunned. I never would have believed it without having experienced it.

You will find most of us do not tell people in our life about hcg, because there is so much bad information on the internet. If someone has not researched it,they will tell you all sorts of negative things. There a hundreds of people on this forum who have loss plenty of weight, who will tell you positive things, so we all chat, vent, confess and care about each other.
If you feel you need to give an explanation, some of us have said we are doing - low fat/ low carb/ a detox/ a cleanse or what ever. The other thing is even though you are only consuming 500 calories, your body is using 1500-3500 calories from your abnormal fat deposits.

You ladies are all so wonderful! Thank you so much for everything you have said. And! I wanted to share with you... Today is my first low calorie day (tues, wed were my loading) and when I got on the scale this morning, I had already lost 2lbs and 2ounces! Lol.. from my loading days! I don't know how that happened but I am telling you.. I was NOT hungry the past two days.. at all. Like last night I got a milkshake from McDonalds (that's all I would ever get from there.. I don't like their food) and I couldn't even finish it!!!! I used to be able to eat them like nothing. And at dinner last night, I barely touched my food. I'm feeling pretty good right now and I don't care what anyone says.. hhcg works!

Amanda, I'm excited to see how you do tomorrow

I love losing weight on P2 - then I want to be on P3 to eat! and then I want to go back to P2 to lose again.... never satisfied, I guess

Right now I'm on P3 and not as stable as I'd like to be, but hanging in there and living vicariously through other P2 losers!

I lost another lb + 4 ounces!! Veryy happy right now! Lol

And although I haven't done p3 yet, I know what you mean.. I'm sure I'll want to be back on p2 when I get to it, haha. I actually don't mind this p2 food though.. I'm pretty creative with my food so it's not too bad. & Most of the things.. I eat them normally anyway. I loveeee strawberries! I'm definitely missing watermelon though! I think the worst part is when my boyfriend comes home and eats his regular dinners that I cook for him, I smell it and I'm like "Grr.. I can't have any." LOL I'm gonna be fine though.

Amanda - those daily losses can spoil us. Don't forget that the time will come that you'll stay the same weight for 3 or 4 days - and get frustrated, and then go down 2 pounds all at once.

But, for now.....isn't the losing fun!!?? :-)

I'm down to 217.4 now. That's another pound & 8 ounces since yesterday and 5.4 lbs total lost. I don't want that time to come when I stay the same weight for 3 or 4 days! Lol.. I'll probably get sad and cry about it. I'm so into this! & I've done so good.. I've been sticking to protocol 100% and I'm proud of myself. Every time I think of eating something else, I just tell myself that my weight won't change when I wake up and weigh myself if I eat something outside of protocol. I'm so glad I found this forum.. Talking to all of you ladies makes this easier for me!

KUTGW Hopefully you took your measurements before you started. If you have a couple days of no loss, take your measurements you will find a loss there. Remember it is Pounds and Inches

I didn't take measurements cause I don't have a measurer.. LOL. I know.. I thought about that though, I should have gotten one. Oh well.. it's alright. I'm down another lb & 4 ounces as of today. So 6lbs & 8ounces total!

what would i be feeling like if they were deactivated--just more hungry than usual----i should get some back up---i might try the pellets next time

Yes, you are WAY more hungry than usual. I was never hungry in my first round but about 10 days into my second, I started getting hungry and thought it was just something I needed to work through. After 3 days of HUNGER (with a capital "H"!), I opened another bottle and was fine after one dose.

Thanks girls! I gained 2 ounces but that's because my LOVELY little monthly visitor came to see me. When I have it, I never want to eat thought. All I had today was a piece of melba. I'm just not hungry.. I don't know why but I never want to eat when I have it. Anyway, it should be gone by Friday night so hopefully Saturday morning I'll see a big loss. LOL we'll see!

And yeah about the drops.. I have the two ounce bottle and I was gonna say, it DEFINITELY doesn't look like it will last for 40 days. I take 10 drops, 3 times a day.. (even though I don't feel like I need that many, cause I'm never hungry) and I can already see a difference in the bottle.
