please help, did i mix right ? what ml on syringe ?

a few questions. i am on my 9th day of the hhcg pellets and cannot stand the hunger any longer. i have enough of the rx hcg {corion 5,000iu} from a previous attempt, that i just mixed up a batch and want to make sure i did it right, as i will be taking my first sl dose tonight around 8pm.

i mixed 1ml of bac. water into the corion ampule, rolled gently, then added it to my amber vial. next i drew out 5ml of bac water 3x {15ml total} and put it gently into the rx hcg amber vial. it is now sitting in the fridge. {as i write this i realize i should have added 14ml more not 15, so now my total is obviously 16ml}. Oops.

now, i have 2 types of needles to dose with, and from reading it looks like i should use the 1cc / 100 unit insulin syringes. i know dosing can go anywhere from 125iu's to 166iu's. I am thinking of starting somewhere in the middle, maybe 140iu's. can someone tell me if this is a good dose to start, if so where on the insulin syringe would i draw up to ?

as a side note: i hope i didn't do too much damage getting the hcg out and into the amber vial, i did have some "spitting" and I know I was al wrong with the pressure of adding air before withdrawing because it wasn't a smooth transfer. lol.

I would love to have helped you, but I'm NOT good at that kind of math. I just mix mine per my directions. My daughter's friend is a biology grad and when I've had to do anything different, I always ask her. (she's not here right now or I would've asked for you)

Sorry...not on the forum over this weekend much. I don't mix mine that way so I am not sure what to advise you with how you mixed it. This is how I mix it. You would do the 1 cc with the hcg and add the following.

* 2,000iu vial - Add 7 cc bac water
* 5,000iu vial - Add 19 cc bac water
*10,000iu vial - Add 39 cc bac water

And here is the amount you would draw for your daily dose. It is the same no matter what size vial you started with.

.5cc = 125iu HCG
.6cc = 150iu HCG
.7cc = 175iu HCG
.8cc = 200iu HCG

My last round I adjusted to 2 lines under .66 cc or just under 150 ius

Well, if I did the math right, a dose of 0.3 is only giving you about 94 iu HCG. That is not enough. A dose of 0.4 cc would give you 125 iu and 0.5 cc would be just over 150 iu. I would probably try 0.4 cc and see how you feel, after a couple days you can increase to 0.5 if you're hungry.

When you say 0.4 and 0.5, i am assuming you mean 40 or 50 on the insulin syringe, correct ?

yesterday i started rx SL, and haven't needed the pellets, it's like night and day !! i have a *slight* hunger at certain times, but it is NOTHING compared to what I was feeling on the pellets ! WOW what a difference !!

i don't want to completely knock pellets, I just think either i wasn't taking enough or they just weren't for me. i am on vlcd 11 and have lost 8.2lbs. i'm hoping i will have bigger losses now that i'm taking the rx, but anything is better then nothing.

hope you all have a wonderful day.
