This is EXACTLY what I was going to post. Girl, you don't always have to wear black anymore because you are SMOKIN! Really, I love the first one.
Coral is so in season this year. I ordered a coral purse from Kohls. There are tons of accessories out there too.

Thanks! I just don't know if I can wear it and be confident. Maybe after a few days of self-tanner I'll have more confidence?

Here's another option I forgot about. It's a dress I bought six years ago but immediately got fat and never wore it.

I'm thinking it's between this one and the halter dress. I think I look thinner in the halter dress. But I'm afraid I'll be tugging up the strapless bra all night.

Thanks! I felt so confident in the dressing room and thought, 'This is IT! The cheerleading squad can choke on it!' But now it's a different story at home. What if the cheerleaders are still snobs. I'm afraid they'll look at me and laugh.

Thanks! My closet is filled with black clothes. Anybody croaks and I'm all set for the funeral. LOL!

Okay. I'm going to continue with my plan for the self-tanner and see how I feel about it later in the week. I can always fall back on the brown one. The cute new shoes go with both of them!

Thanks, girls!

I like the halter neck(the first one)- it is casual and attractive and suits you;
and this one(the last one)- it is elegant, and suits you also.
They all nice on you- but these two I prefer!

You look good anyway

reshaping

Hi Mini

It is fantastic that you are getting the reshaping- whether it is due to hcg or isometrics or both.

I did both t-tapp and callan (isometric-tyoe exercises) intensively for a long time- and neither helped my saddlebag/butt area- even though I studied form intensively and gave it all I had .
It pissed me off that I couldnt get the results others seemed to!

I have got to get the results someday though, simply by sheer persistence- there must be a key to it somewhere.

Ok, I like the first one for a casual outing. If you feel uncomfortable try a short cardigan. You know one of those lacy ones. Then when you get to feeling frisky you can take it off. Best of both worlds.
My second choice it the last one. It looks really good on you but is more of a fall/winter color.
The shoes are hot!!! I want them. They really make the first dress.

Have lots of fun.

Thanks! It seems everybody is voting for the halter one. I will load on the self tanner (I bought rubber gloves so I won't get orange palms) and see how confident I feel come next Saturday! Thanks!

A shrug would be a good thing to have. I'll go look for one this week. Thanks!

I love my new shoes! I bought them just for this dress!!! They don't really hurt either. (I'm surprised!)

I like that brown one, but I think it would look less somber if you added an interesting belt of something. Know what I mean? I still love the tropical-looking one the best.

Those cheerleaders are probably all fat now! Don't be afraid to strut your stuff! Your stuff is looking mighty fine.

Thanks! You are right, some of them have gained weight (if their fb pics are up to date.) Does it show a lack of character if I gloat a little? (They didn't give me the time of day in school.) I'm hoping that they are all very nice to me and I can have some closure.

The brown dress has ruching at the waist (it's hard to see in the pic, it's from the wait up to underneath the bust) so I don't think I could add a belt to it. I can do big, chunky necklace.

I'm considering returning the strapless bra I got for the halter dress and shopping for something more along the lines of a corset bra. (I just think I need more support so I don't feel like tugging on it all night.) Maybe I need to go to Dillard's to find one?

Don't laugh, but don't they make stick-on bra cups? I thought I saw those on TV somewhere. (I know. Don't wet yourself.)

I've seen those, but even if they stayed stuck on they'd be at my waist! (Ewww! Sorry, TMI!!!)

I need something to hold them up good. (My husband has offered, but I told him it would not be socially acceptable.)

I ended up going to DressBarn and hit the jackpot! I went shopping for 25 yr. highschool reunion dresses yesterday and it was FUN! Shopping at a smaller size was exhilarating!!! I found six dresses that I loved, but had to pare it down. (I only needed ONE dress! LOL!) I wound up buying three dresses. One can be worn to church, the other to weddings or special events, the one I got for the reunion is so . . . racy I don't know if I'll have the courage to wear it! I also bought a pair of shoes to go with the reunion dress and a strapless bra. I'll post pics of all three later this week, after I get my hair done. I also need to spray tan my legs.

Bummer on the outside runion, Maggie! (It is Maggie, right? I don't want to call you Beerbutt. LOL!) Our reunion is inside, it's at a party place/hall. I posted on fb to ask what people were wearing and only one lady replied. She said she'd be wearing a sundress. So I'm thinking 'dressy-casual.' My husband will wear slacks and a polo shirt.
Congrats on the loss! Dressy casual is normally on-par.

Today is my first official P3 but I'll still hang out here with y'all if that's okay. I can still cheer you on as you shrink!

I went grocery shopping yesterday and had major "sticker shock." Things sure seem alot more expensive than back in the early part of March when I last bought Atkin foods. My, my, my. Between food and gas, it's a wonder anyone's mortgage or rent is getting paid!

Congrats!!

I have a big favor to ask all of you. I just posted a major vent post on my Journal thread (believe it's page 11). Would you please all go and read that and tell me what you think? I'm in a panic right now and I need some objective insight into this new matter that just came up a few hours ago.
Will do!

I felt the SAME way. And you know what? Those cheerleaders/drill team members looked fantastic, and they are still MISERABLE SNOBS! They stayed in their little group and didn't talk to anyone. They weren't smiling or laughing... just slugging back the wine. Wear the coral halter dress. You look great, and once you get there you will relax and have a ton of fun!

I went to Victoria Secret and got a strapless bra. I wore it on the tightest hooks and it stayed mostly in place all night. I was so afraid it was going to end up around my belly button! I was outside sweating, too.

That is something that my husband would say!

I am 143.4 today after being off protocol for lunch and dinner Friday, and then for lunch on Saturday. I am hoping that I break through tomorrow. Looking back at my charts for R2 and R3, it seems that I hiccup around this weight and then gradually get down to the 130s. School starts tomorrow night (I am taking college classes at night), and I am so not ready to go back. I am stressing over what I'm going to do for dinner and whether I should sprint home and let the dogs out.

I have a question and a proposition. It has always seemed weird to me to start our new weekly threads on Monday. Who else would like to start the new one on Sunday Eve? Anybody care to weigh-in?

If so, should we start the new one tonight? I always seem to wake up to new posts but I lose commenting on them because the new thread link is there at the bottom. Maybe if we switch to Sunday night, no posts will fall into that limbo category?

Yes? No?

Oh, and Garfield, you're doing great! I vote for sprinting home to let the dogs out, or putting in a doggy door. I got one of those!

Hello All
I am still hanging in. Sorry for the mia but I had a slip and it totally derailed me. Hate it when that happens. Anyway I am back on track and optimistic about life once again.
Nothing can stop me.
My success on this programme has been great and I am almost there. Above all hcg has had a very good effect on my cravings (and bingeing problem) that I really despise so much. I think I have it all in the bag. Does anyone else feel that there emotional issues with food are less on hcg? Just interested
I will post again tomorrow, gotta run right now.
