Dawn.....do you put anything in your coffee? I would really like to have some this morning but I don't know if I can put a little cream in it.

Thanks!

Even on P2, you'd have to pry my cream out of my cold, dead hands if you wanted. I can't be without it

I've used half and half and heavy cream on protocol without issue, you'll have to see if it works for you though.

I do use either half and half or heavy whipping cream--depending on what I have bought at the store on the weekend. But yes, I do have that even on P2. It makes it much more tolerable for me...and those around me

I had tried HCG the original once before, but life got in the way and an unexpected vacation (OMG not vacation!! lol) 2 years ago.

So officially yes, this is my first Round I plan on it being a GREAT one! I have been trying to eat today but am stuffed I had BBQ for lunch and a sandwich for bfast, now normally I could inhale this stuff.....I'm not sure if it's nervousness or what, but if I have to go home and eat dinner I might just have to visit the throne. and it's 4pm.
ugh. full of water and food i had NO carbs for lunch. couldn't even finish 1/2 of what I brought. I really do hope this is a trend for 30 days......
dreamchaser how long is your first round? if I do good 30 I may stretch it to 40.
What kind of puppy do you have what a doll!
okay pardon me *Angel* what a beautiful picture Pets become just like our children I love my two fur babies and we are also momma and daddy to them

Tomorrow is my VLCD 1 too, maybe we can be P2 triplets

I kept my second day of loading pretty low carb except for 2 Skinny Cow candy bars, a bag of Fritos and a slice of cheesecake. I kept it all low carb/high fat yesterday and I must say that while I am full I'm not hampered by the tired, disgusting feeling I've had loading for previous rounds when I stuffed myself to the gills with sugar, fast food etc.

I ordered Intermountain pellets from Netrition, but wanted to start before they would be delivered, so I went to store you did and bought Nigen drops. They worked fine for me for 5 days ( others here have used them too) I then switched to the pellets. Now I use both the drops and pellets, depending on which is more convenient for me.
I think if you search that store's website they will have ingredients for both yours and mine and you can compare ingredients, if they are similar you should be fine using them

That is good to know. I can't see how a little half and half would make a big difference.

My question is..if there is no HCG in them..how does that work .. What is crazy is the directions only say take 30 drop 2xs a day before meals... Really 30 drops? When I read the pamplet inside the box it was the directions for the HCG Platinum (blue bottle) Not the HCG Platinum x-30. I cant find any other information on it other than when googeling it saying that None of it works.. HAHA ALOT THEY KHOW... I wrote a review on a couple sites stating that it worked for me and I recommended it...I had to share my experience with others.

Anyways.. I am taking the what I have now...just dont like that cant find anything out about them. I should go speak to the GNC man..But now I dont think he knows what hes talking about.

This is my opinion - but since you're asking - I wouldn't use it if it's not a homeopathic hcg but just something that's using the name without the 6x 12x 30x 60x standard homeopathic measurements on it. I'm only saying that because this protocol is tough enough to do it with just some kind of supplement or something in them.

And you're right about the guy at the vitamin store - I was in a health food store the other day getting some stuff and he had a bottle of homeopathic hcg on the counter getting it ready for someone who wasn't there yet - I struck up a conversation with him about it. I asked him if the bottle included a copy of the diet plan and he said no. I asked him what are people using for the diet if you don't include the original diet with it? He said that 500 calories was too low and that he never tells anyone to do that - that's starvation, yada yada yada - OMG.
And then he said people buy it and come in 3-4 days later expecting to be down in weight but he said it just doesn't work that fast..... sheesh..... he was quite prideful also. I was amazed at his attitude, especially having never even done it himself and he's telling people how to get started!

Supposedly the blend of amino acids signals to your body to make it's own HCG but that is the same way the "real" homeopathic works too I'd be careful because while they might work per se you may be losing normal fat instead of the abnormal fat that HCG does; losing normal fat isn't good. Those drops are also mighty expensive considering you can get a bottle of HHCG that will last you 23 days for $15 plus shipping in some places.

Are you taking them now? How is your hunger?

VLCD1 - 196 (down .5) (?)
I felt sooooooo bloated when I went home yesterday from eating bread yesterday morning....I couldn't eat dinner So I drank a glass of full fat milk and a cookie wedge from one of those ginormous cookies. I couldn't eat anything else, I had to take some tums I was so miserable. Today so far so good, water water water. I spent lastnight weighing and measuring chicken, shrimp. I made a calorie free LC dressing no oil. pulled out some coupons to Macy's I should be able to use soon (fingers crossed)

Sounds like everybody so far is good I woke up to a two pound gain from my load days. I'm having my coffee and cream now and then I'm going to do my workout and hopefully I'll remember to drink enough water today to start the fat flushing for my weigh-in tomorrow

Okay, today is VLCD 2 and I'm down 2.4 which is exactly what I gained loading, it usually takes me 3-4 days to lose my load weight so hopefully this is a good sign

VLCD 1: +2.4 (load weight)
VLCD 2: -2.4

Hello

I just wanted to drop in and say hello. My 1st VLCD was Tuesday. I cheated a lil...already(ugh). But woke up today to a 1.5 loss, and a vow to be good today!!!

I am taking Hhcg pellets and looking to do a 23-day round. Unless, of course, I feel like I've got it under control by then, then I will do a 40-day-round.

I am very excited about this plan! I haven't really told anyone I'm doing it...didn't want to until I saw results!!

Is it really a big deal to eat the same meat for both meals? My plan is to eat chicken breast for the 1st few days. I have a husband, 4 kids and my in-laws in one house. So needless to say...it's hard to cook separately for myself (especially sine they don't know about the protocol).

I have about 20-30 lbs I'd like to lose this round!! If that goes as planned, I'd probably do one more short round to lose the last 15 or so.

I love this forum and all the suport and info it has to offer.

Good luck to all of you (and to me) We can do it...one day at a time!

~K

Welcome KMG, sounds like you're doing well

As far as the same meat question, I bought a 6 pound family size package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I intend to use until it's gone, so in other words all the protein for my 23 day round is covered So as you can see I don't think it's a big deal but if you start stalling you might want to change it up a bit. I've done similar things during previous rounds, my second round was almost all tilapia because it was on sale and already packaged in 4 ounce portions. Easy and cheap is right up my alley on this protocol. And for me I don't mind eating the same thing everyday, changing the veggies and spices is enough variety for me

Load day 2 196.5
VLCD 1: 196 ( -0.5)
VLCD 2: 194.5 (-1.5)

this isn't so bad i had some minimal hunger pangs this morning but had some coffee w/ cream in 1 cup the rest were black. and a boiled egg. (my 1 egg for the day)
For lunch I have a Shrimp 4oz Salad w/ LCal dressing. no oil.
snack if I need it will be Cottage cheese 1/2 C w/ black berries 1/4C.
Dinner will be Chicken 4oz and Asparagus w/ lemon and pepper for seasoning.
Then Hot blueberry or Peach tea to relax me.
I am totally rogue, but keeping it Lcarb and Low cal. not eating Melba toast or Bread sticks.
I am under the impression it will be easier to go back LC after

I swear I must have an hcg curse LOL. I ended up taking my youngest to the doctor yesterday and ends up he has bronchitis. So he is on anti-biotics and a nebulizer. The doc said to keep the nebulizer "in case" he develops asthma (his dad has it). Not good news to hear. So since I took him in so late and I had to rush to work (I was even 30 mins late to my shift) I was only able to get the bare bones in. I literally had no time to do anything other than crack open a container of cottage cheese. I won't plan on doing that again!!! This just sucks. Every round I have done lately has brought some sort of awfulness to my family. In Oct it was an uncle dying, last attempt at a round it was DD and diabetes, this round DS and bronchitis. Terrible. I just want to make it through a round with no bumps.

But I am doing well on the p2!! Here is my loss to date:

R7P2 Day: 4
Date of your VLCD #1 : 5/30/11

# above/below VLCD #1: -7.8
# gain/loss from yesterday: -2.8

You have my empathy! I have 4 kids and a DH to cook for. You are me minus the inlaws!! I have Oreos and ice cream all around me....all day long since my youngest doesn't to go school yet. It is torture on some days. But wonder how you will "hide" the fact that your chicken will look different then everyone else's. Hmmmmm.......my kids eat theirs loaded with cheese and bacon, salads drenched in ranch and broccoli smothered in butter. It would raise eyebrows at my house if I ate different than them. Remember that hcg is no fat. And not to mention the drops---whenever I put them in it seems that is THE one moment they all decide to ask me a question Best of luck to you!! Hcg rocks

And then of course easy and cheap is shot right out of the water for me when I hit P3

I just budget the same amount every week for groceries so all the money I save on P2 is a buffer for the indulgences of P3/P4...bacon, Fage and steak are expensive
