Down 1 pound today (phew!) I had a nine day stall even after an apple day (and 100% protocal) which has never happened before AND then I cheated so that stalled me for 2 more days. I'm finally losing again and feeling good. So grateful.

I am also dieting while on meds for my rheumatoid arthritis. My RA doc told me that it would be difficult for me to lose weight because of the meds. I am pleased with my loss (.7 pounds a day is my average). I am already planning to come back for another P2 this fall, maybe a long round 2? I'm looking forward to P3 next week, and I will be on P4 by the time hubby and I take an anniversary trip to Seattle late this summer. I was a skeptic when I started, but I am a believer now! ![]() |

I think you have to have a certain number of posts and days as a member to get a ticker in your signature (25 I think?) so you'll be fine with that part! ![]() Here's what I did after creating the ticker at tickerfactory: User Control Panel Edit Signature Then in the big white box to the left of the smilies you type this: [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Scroll down to option 1 and cut / paste the http link from Ticker Factory (you want the one with png in it) Hit Save Signature below that and you should be set! Hope this helps |

No, it must be more than that. I have 88 posts and don't have a signature option yet. I think it may also require us to be here at least a month, and I haven't met that requirement yet. Thanks for the information. I copied it and saved it so that when and if I get the signature option, I will be able to create a ticker and use it.

Well, it's the day AFTER my birthday, and the "good stuff" began arriving today, as has happened for so many years.
First of all, thank you all for the birthday wishes. They are very much appreciated. Second, I broke out of that 3 days of zero losses and had a 0.8 loss today. Not exactly a whoosh, and not big enough to make up for those 3 days, but I'll take it. Boy! These fluctuations are not fun. Unless I see some larger losses, I won't make it to my goal weight by the end of this round. Perhaps I set it too high, thinking that putting it under the 34-pound mark was a safe bet. I didn't know women lost so much less and like almost everyone seems to do, set my expectations too high, based on how I had interpreted what I had read or heard. Well, it is what it is and I'll get to where I get to. 14.2 lbs (net of load) at VCLD23 and 23 days to go to P3. I guess that translates to being at the halfway mark today, and I sure do miss those big losses at the beginning of Week 1. Still, I've lost as much in 3+ weeks on HCG as I would have in 57 weeks of Weight Watchers, being just as strict with my diet, so I guess I should not be so disappointed (but I am -- at least for today). This, too, will pass. Anyway, back on track and glad for it. My body is still not quite locked in to letting go of some more but I think that will shift with more time. I might try going for a walk this morning. I haven't done any exercise of any kind so far because I wanted to wait until I stabilized with the routine before doing that. My doctor told me to get a rebounder and I did, but haven't felt to use it yet. I think a gentle walk is something I am up to and will wait to see how I feel after that. Marocka,
Thanks for the birthday wishes AND the link. NOW I know why I don't have a signature option yet! I'll have to wait until mid-July for that (need to have been here 60 days to get a signature). I'll still be here and have fun creating a ticker while I work my way through the six weeks between rounds. That will be my "birthday present" from you! ![]() |

Shelbyla has started a thread named:
simeons-protocol-all-phases-week-06-06-11 Do you all want to move there or start a thread for just P2 week 06/06/11? |

Speaking only for myself, I found having the focus of a "just P2" thread helpful at this stage of things for me. When I tried to read the "all phases" thread before, it seemed all over the place and I had trouble relating to a lot of what was being talked about, as I'm not ready for all of that.

I'm sorta new here, too. What are "NCers and SCers"? I don't know the lingo yet and am curious about what you are happy about.

Too funny!
![]() ![]() ![]() And here I thought the "C" in NCers and SCers had something to do with either carbs or calories! ![]() I just started a new thread for us P2ers who want to post there. You can find it here: Simeons Protocol -- P2 Week of 6/6/11 |
