But it was our anniversary, so I didn't eat all day and we went out to dinner, I ate great, but did have a vodka martini with 3 not 1 blue cheese olives. I had 1/2 of a wedge salad with blue cheese crumbs, 2 large shrimp, a couple bits of filet and some steamed asparagus. I will go to ****** and check my calories, So we'll see how it effects my progress.
sounds like you chose low carb, so hopefully it won't set you back to bad.

Congrats to everyone who lost today kutgw.
There have been times in my life when I thought I was 'stuck'... I felt strongly that somehow I was doomed and there was no hope for me to get out of my rut; and I thank God, I was wrong. Stay strong, keep your eye on the goal with all your focus. You will do it this time! Good luck.

Down 2 lbs today!!! but I have 2 wks & 3 days left on vlcd with injections and then the 3 vlcd without injections... to get to P3. I to keep losing at this rate!!!
Here's what I do for P3 for the first three weeks I cook at home most of the time, eat a large breakfast, the more protein and fat the better, so I would eat sausage or bacon for breakfast skip lunch and have meats and cheeses for dinner, like a pork roast with cheddar, salsa and sour cream for example. I will make a big batch of creamed spinach to eat whenever I'm hungry and keep Diamond Smokehouse almonds on hand to snack on... oh and I will have coffee with cream and splenda too. It satisfies and works!
For a sweet treat I will go by See's Candies and pick up a box of sugar free chocolate covered almonds and have one or two each night.
I went thru my favorite cookbook and made a list of things that I can eat with no starch or sugar and I try to plan ahead. Good luck and let me know if you need some ideas. =)

I'm down about 4 lbs today, and with yesterdays loss I am down 9 lbs in two days, I'm so thrilled~~but it's a little bittersweet cause I'm still losing to get to my lowest or LIW... but I will carrry on!

I made some changes in my protein this time, decided to switch to beef this time, chicken was really getting boring and dry... I wound up boiling tenders in a shallow pan with some chicken broth. So I went and bought a Top Round Roast, removed all fat baked it on 400* for 10 minites and then down to 200* for 20 minutes and it came out perfect... pink in the middle and very yummy with some mustard. Try it, it's not too expensive and very yummy!

uh, ok... so the first thing i read was this:And, you must keep in mind that contrary to popular opinion, P3 & P4 are NOT Atkins. Having said this, I will state that if you are having trouble getting your calories in, a simple way to do so it to increase fat consumption (oils, avocados, nuts) on P3 and fats & raw, fresh fruits on P4. ...hmm.... still sounds like Atkins...ish....

You and me both. I finally got a battery for my scale and after 2 days of VLC I am 2.6 above my LDW. I'm OK with it, just going to keep plugging along and the weight will drop.

Yes, it is a little like Atkins in the beginning but way better because with hCG you learn which foods you gain on and what your body reacts to, which I love. No other diet does what this one can do. For example I'd never fit into any other Levi's besides 550's until hCG changed my figure.

That's all you can do, I was even thinking about weighing only once a week but I can't do that cuz I need to know if I'm going in the right direction. It's so funny cuz at first my mom was like "Don't weigh every day" and now she's a firm believer that you really have to. Funny how peoples attitude change when they see what you're doing works.

First timer R1P2D23 started May 11... total loss: 23days=21bs

The strangest thing happened yesterday... 'can't say I ever felt this way: I was hungry, and empty, but "I didn't feel like eating". That's new. I think I felt so terrible about cheating and gaining last week that the negative psychological 'consequence' of feeling disappointment was stronger than my desire to taste delicious food. I surprise myself.
That is totally great! That's the kind of surprise to look forward to.

Today I am wearing a blouse that I like and couldn't get into before. That's another nice way for me to end week 3.

I had a week like that and now am heading in the right direction again. Keep on keeping on and you'll get where you are going. I noticed on your ticker that you are almost half way to where you want to be, so "wrong direction" or not, you are definitely heading in the RIGHT DIRECTION overall. KUTGW!

Thanks! And all that in only 3 months! I am just anxious I guess. I want so badly to at least get to half way there... to at least be over that hump!

Waiting for TOM to come and go!

Good luck with the weekend temptations everyone! I'm going to a parade and a carnival this weekend so there will be a lot of yummy foods calling my name. The first weekend back on P2 is always so hard but I am determined to stick this out until the 17th. I think I'm going to buy a magic bullet and blend up some frozen lemonade(ice, lemon, and stevia) since we will finally have some sunshine this weekend.

Good morning all! Vlcd19 and I'm down a total of 12 lbs. I gained .6 this am but not discouraged. The overall picture of 12 lbs keeps me going strong.

Two days away from p3 - a little nervous but I've been reading the p3 blogs and printed out a bunch of recipes, so I think I'm prepared.

Happy weekend to all!

Today is my vlcd 1, I lost .2 over the 2 days of loading so at least I don't have to lose any load weight just the weight I put back on from last round.

Have a good Saturday everyone and happy losing.

Down 2 today! 23 lbs in 23 days, baby!!!

R1P2D23

277,276,275,274,273,272,271,270,269,268,267,266,26 5,264,263,262,261,260,259,258,257,256,255,254,253,252,251,250,249,248,247,246,245,244,243,242,2 41,240,239,238,237

- 40lbs in 40 days is my goal... Dr. Simeons says 34 should be the limit except for the extremely obese and nearly 300 lbs, for me, I would say fits that bill. Also, realized I was counting the first day, but that wouldn't be right because it is a starting weight, not a loss day, so wouldn't be counted. And of course I have gained and lost all along, the pound a day reference is a lb a day 'average'. But TODAY... I am on the mark! Woo hoo!!!

Woo hoo!!!
Woohoo!
