Help me get back on track!!!!
I completed my first round of 21 days on monday. I was quite successful losing just over 29 pounds.I did three days of 500 calories without the drops Tuesday-Thursday.
Yesterday I had an apple for breakfast and then went into interviews not getting to eat until 2:30. At that time I had a chicken caesar salad with no croutons. We then went back into interviews. By the time I got home at 7 I was starving and ate horribly. That carried over to this morning. When I say horribly I mean sweets and starches and everything. My stomach is in horrible pain, I have a horrible headache, and I feel gross. I'm not sure what to do to get back on plan as I never really started phase 3. Do I do a correction tomorrow and go from there? Do I do a few days of VLC without drops? Help! I don't want to ruin a month of great progress. |

Congrats on your weight loss! What is your LDW? That would be your weight on the morning of your last dose or drops. I think that would be Monday(?).
It is hard to switch from P2 to P3. You have to really get your mind around it. Your calories have to go way up. Find your calorie needs using calculators on sites such as Free Diet Plans and Weight Loss Programs. After that plan some basic changes to your diet. Add fat. Coconut and olive oil is the best but leave the fat on your meat. That will quickly get your calories up. Just using full fat olive oil on your salads makes a big difference. Increase the amount of protein you eat. Instead of 2 3.5 ounces servings eat 4-5 servings a day. Eat eggs. If you have to use protein shakes. Non starchy veggies and most fruits are ok. No sugars or starches such as bread until you are stable! Now, how to move forward. First go by your weight. Don't do a correction unless you are 2 pounds over your LDW. If you are then you need to do a correction day, steak, chicken, egg or one of the other ones. If you are within your window, just start eating "clean" and it will work out. Your stomach is in shock, lol. Using a digestive aid will help. Not going crazy with what you eat will help too. I know I have been there. Some of us just do not tolerate starches or gluten. It's really hard to break away from it. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

Kirbydale GET BACK THERE!! Just start P3 as it was ment to be, I did triple my P2 servings at first and added back fat (real diary fat (sp?)) that way the total was easy achieved for me. ( I was on LC and high fat before the protocol)
All isnt lost so just get back in the saddle again ![]() |

Thanks guys. I am only up 1.6 from my LDW so I didn't do a correction today. For breafast I made an omelette with bacon. I ate slowly and stopped when I felt full which was about half way. My stomach again feels upset, but I think that may just be getting used to fat again. I spent last night getting some recipes and meals written down for this week. I need to be able to plan ahead.
