HCG Abnormal Fat - Lower body
How long does it take the abnormal fat in the hips, thighs and butt area to go away with HCG? My upper body the fat disappeared... however, lower body - very slow to lose.

Renee, I have the same problem. Apparently most of my "abnormal" fat was on my boobs--they have completely deflated. I have lost 55 pounds, and now have the same body I did when I got married almost 20 years ago. I still have a pear shape with saddlebag thighs.
I'm going to do one more round, and hopefully with the last 5 or 10 pounds I will lose the saddlebags. But so far, I haven't seen the reshaping that many other people describe. |

omg, me too. Exactly. I workout (running, walking, pilates) and I'm smaller in my lower body area, the abnormal fat is hanging on for dear life. I'm going to have to extend my P2 round... Still need to drop 15lbs... which is sitting on my booty.

Well, here's the problem -- it is actually normal for women to have some fat on the butt... so it doesn't tend to just melt off the way upper body fat often does.
Two serious losing rounds, and several reshaping rounds later (and a lot of serious working out)... I still have butt squish -- a LOT LESS of it than I used to have, but there is still some there. No, I am not going to just sit back and accept it... I am going to keep working hard until it is gone -- but that fat is just a lot more resistant to loss, for most of us, than the fat on the rest of the body.

If you keep doing this, you will start to see reshaping -- we all do! Sometimes it takes a couple of rounds, or even more -- but it does happen.

I experienced quite a bit of reshaping even well into late P3/P4, so hang on. I still have more on my thigh/hip/booty area than I would care to, but it's looking better than it has in well over 25 years. After my R4, I bought a pair of jeans that I could *barely* squish into - and less than 5 pounds into R5, they were loose, and all in that particular area. I know it was alot of reshaping and JIGGLYPOOF that seemed to be ready to happen right at the beginning of the next round because of the break. I could tell it was coming, even on the break, the fat started to get "loose" in those areas, not like it was stuck tight on me. Weird-amazing.

I don't mind losing the thighs but I'm really sad to lose the shapely bootie! Mine is so flat now....
Really hoping my lower belly will go. |

OMG.. the dreaded flat butt -- wow, does that happen to a lot of us. Mine just deflated AGAIN -- jiggly poof all over the place! I'm making a really concerted effort to build a new one that is made of muscle, not fat -- that one won't deflate, no matter how lean I get.

I sure hope I lose in my stomach. That is where my problem area has always been. In my younger years I was always asked "when I was due". I am even considering cosmetic surgery when I get to a weight I am happy with. Tomorrow will be my very first round. I started loading on Sat.

believe it or not, i like my fat butt...kinda, i mean its the only thing on me that is still HIGH where it was supposed to be (unlike my girls that i can tuck under each arm pit, or if my arms are full i can carry stuff under them...) and my Lord my stomach, its horrible, it has a panus, and i have 2 stomaches one one top one on the bottom and the top one is bigger then the bottom one
![]() and my horizontal csection scar makes me look like i have two asses, on in back and one in front...I look MUCH BETTER NAKED FROM BEHIND.BTW my inner thighs look like cottage cheese mixed with jello....but my calves are fantabulous! ![]()

I lost in the upper body first, too. Face, neck, collarbones, arms, and some chest/ribs. I am fighting with my belly, hips, butt, and thighs.
Unfortunately you don't get to pick where you lose from. Boobs are normally the first place you lose from on any diet. |

I lost top down too. I liked when it came off my face first, quite noticable and got me good compliments and encouraged me to keep at it. The boobs were ok too, but made me a bit sad. Eventually I lost a lot off my belly and hips and thighs. I could use another round I'm sure, but am enjoying maintenance for now and exercising too. I hope to build some good muscle mass then go for a nice final round and release that lean muscle underneath!!
Hang in there, it does happen, but not instantly. Actually, many think they lose and reshape more in P3 than P2. So, you may be pleasantly surprised when you get into the stabilizing phase too!! You can do it!!

I lost pretty evenly all over, but the amazing thing is that my face never, ever became gaunt, which it normally does even 10 lbs higher than I am now. I also have evened out a lot since hitting goal -- my whole fat distribution has changed, really.

I am loving "tharms" too -- that's a new one for me. I am continually amused at the language we use to describe our bodies.

lol- I will race you to the six-pack abs Mini!
I am hoping my saddlebags will go away before I have to lose every centimetre off my breasts to get there!! Though I am not remotely following the HCG protocol now - I am still hoping for some of the famous re-shaping effects of the HCG.. |

Race is on, Nola -- at the finish line is not only a fabulous six-pack, but a firm muscular butt
Since I am not remotely following protocol either, we're at least on an equal playing field ![]() |

Hey, I've gone from 40F to 36DD...which feels like a lot since when the girls are supported...there is tons of extra skin. I would love to go back to bigger...or at least tighter. I think I look similar to what I wore at this weight before kids (34D)...but now there's so much extra skin. You can't go from 34D to 40I to 36DD without some damage.
I do love that I can fit medium tops now, and some smalls (whereas was a 2X before). |

I suspect you will definitely win on the butt front- my butt is remaining stubborn, and not shifting from the status quo as yet! |
