newbie questions
Hey! Excited to hopefully lose the 75lbs I have gained over the last 10y
Starting today (took the pellets last night, this AM and now) I have a few questions please can any one answer (I read the PI book but am still confused about a few things...) Is it common not to want to eat after taking your first few doses, I really don't feel like loading up right now and am not sure if I can force feed as described for today and tomorrow. Has anyone done anything like no load P1 Vegetable amount is stated as a handful (so how much cucumber etc) is there a weight or a cupful or what? Is there a protocol for P3? Thanks a million! Yes it's common but you need to eat as much as you can. Try to concentrate on good fats and not on sugars or starches. Without a load, you will be VERY hungry the first few days. You need to get that fat circulating in your blood.
On the veggie portion, I used 100g or 3.5oz as my portion of veggies. If you choose to skip the melba/grissini, you may have 150g x 2 or 100g/200g. On fruits, you shold make sure you are in the neighborhood of 200g of fruit each time so 400g total for the day. HTH |

Protocol for P3 is essentially, figure out your MAX calories for your sex, weight, height, age and activity range (google BMR calculator then multiply result by your activity level) and eat fatty meats, veggies and low glycemic fruits to that amount of calories. No sugars (other than the fruits allowed in P2 and some berries), no starches (no legumes including peanuts and cashews, potatoes, rice, grain products, etc.) for 3 weeks. Then in the next 3 weeks, start adding back starches and sugars gradually, seeing how your body reacts to each addition. If you gain more than 2 pounds above your last dose or last injection weight (LDW or LIW), in either P3 or P4, you do a correction day (CD) to fix the issue. Steak day (fast all day until dinner then eat the biggest steak you can find with a raw tomato), egg day (8-12 eggs ONLY over the course of the day), Greek yogurt day (32oz Greek yogurt plus 8oz berries ONLY throughout the day), roasted chicken day (a whole chicken or a bunch of dark meat ONLY throughout the day) are some of the CD's out there.

![]() I too am new but these are my thoughts, someone else may be more informed on the veggie portion size. Be sure to go and read the threads that are posted as a sticky at the top of the page. There is plenty of information there. You must load, eat high fat foods, not junk foods. The HCG is starting to get into your system, so you are not feeling hungry. They say if you do not load properly your first week will be very difficult. Generally I eat 100 grams and if you following Pounds and Inches you do not mix veggies As for P3 I have never done that yet, but I did receive a guideline from someone else on the forum. I haven't even looked at the threads for P3 because I'm not there yet. There is probaly good info in that thread too Good luck

Shelbyla -- I got called away as I was answering Ms HCG's post, so I didn't realize you had already answered it. I knew you'd have great information, as I've read and printed so much of the info you've posted. Thank you for your inspiration
