1 week to p3 and stalling, not sure what to do

I am almost at my 40 days for round 1 p2, been a little rouge, meaning mixing veggies and upped my protein to 4 ounces due to lightheadedness. No excercise as I have been so tired, I have a physical job too. the scale keeps going up and down ounces for the last 2 weeks, its so frustrating, so the last few days no mixing veggies and I am gaining, no tom for me I only have ovaries left in. I want to lose 5 more pounds to put me at 165 before starting p3, today I skipped the breadsticks to see if that is my issue, I have only lost 12 pounds in all this time. I am sooooo afraid of doing p3 and gaining. I have been drinking all my water and taking the drops as required, please any suggestions would be wonderful thanks so much Marymouse

I wish I had suggestions for you, but I don't really know. You're a bit rogue, but not over the top. Maybe you should try it without the grissini for the last few days to see if that helps. I hope you find the answer!

Mary, Something to consider Just because you only have ovaries may not mean that you are still not having hormonal cycles. . .although 2 weeks long might rule out hormones.

I do not have any advise to encourage you but to say "hang in there." I joined the alternative thread because I was having some issues and went rouge. . .I had much better losses week 4 rouge than I did on protocol weeks 2 & 3. That being said, I value the protocol but I am healing from surgery (three months ago) and felt that my body needed more/different foods.

Good luck!

Diane

Dazy, I was completely bored with the food on Dr S's protocol and I really think I needed more of it, especiallly the protein. After much reading, I continued with the hhcg but started following the Scarsdale plan. The Scarsdale plan is lowfat, high protein, lowcarb. The main difference is that you can have specified amounts of protein bread, dairy, and unlimited amounts of veggies, fruit, and protein based upon the daily menu plan. I tried the bread but I have a touch of gluten sensitivity and felt better not eating it daily also I didn't snack on celery and carrots between meals. (You can find free information all over the internet regarding this way of eating.) With this plan you cycle two week on then two weeks off increasing your food but not your fats or startches until you lose all your weight. I did not do the Scarsdale maintenance, I moved over to Atkins Induction once I began P3. . .I wanted to eat fat, lovely tasty fat! I continued to lose weight for three days after my last dosage day and have stabilzed within a pound of that lowest weight.

It has been almost three months since I had major surgery on my foot. Before I return to P2 I would like to see how my body responds to swimming since walking is still such a challenge for me. If I find that I can do mild to moderate exercise in the pool then I will begin round 2 on a modified plan of some sort. . .please feel free to message me and/or join us on the "alternate" thread and ask questions there.

Diane
