How safe is fat free Cottage Cheese
If you replace it with your protein for your evening meal? I lost 2.4 lbs yesterday and I feel im finally on a roll now, TOM is over..... im feeling better and I do NOT want a stall because I ate dairy.

You would be better off getting lowfat. The fat free almost always has higher carb and sugar count and other "crap" in it. P&I does say it is allowed and I used it my last round without any trouble.

I havent had it yet, but I have bought some. I was actually considering that to be my dinner tonight. I am so tired of chicken and beef.
I think it would be different from person to person. I have read that some people have no issues with and some people stall. So I will be trying it out and see what happens. |

I have no issues with cottage cheese. But I agree--I do the lowfat 2%. The fat free---
just tastes bad. Actually it was my lunch today. |

I actually found fat-free cottage cheese at Whole Foods that did not contain any carbohydrates. It is their 365 Everyday Value brand. I had no problems with this. I just seasoned it with salt and onion powder, and used tomatoes chopped into it as my vegetable. All the other fat-free brands had some type of carbohydrate in them.

It really helped me with my cheese cravings...so worth it to me. I don't think it slowed my losses at all. I've always used the low fat rather than fat free, just tastes better, calories about the same. Really good with cocoa powder and some artificial sweetener. Or old style with salted celery. Hope you enjoyed your supper last night!

Mine doesn't have many carbs at all - it's 10 calories per tablespoon with 1 net carb. |
