My father died...
I'm so stressed out. He was a wonderful man, who was 95 yrs old so it was his time plus some. He was active until the last 2 yrs of his life, even dancing weekly and driving. WW2 vet, gentle man. Loved very much.
My moms a mess, my step sister tried to steal all thier money (even taking dad to the bank last year and talking him into taking all CDs and putting them into her and his name. My mom went insane. He put the money back, but she doesnt know...yet. My mom made sure she gets the 200k house when SHE dies but the money is atleast hers, but my evil step will try to say dad wasnt right in his mind, when he was completely right. She is just horrible. She lives 8 hrs away and has only seen him 2 times in 18 months. And was mad because he donated his body to science and she didnt get to say goodbye! ugh! He had been in a rehab center for 3 weeks and we could just tell he wasnt getting better strength wise but we figured a fall would kill him, thankfully a massive heartattack killed him while he slept, he never even woke up to try to get help...smiled in death, no joke. We had his body held till 4 today in cold storage so evil Ms could get here, but she said she couldnt come till Tues??? She is retired, what is keeping her? ugh im furious. Now for my selfish part....I'm on day 22, vlc..no pellets. Yesterday i was almost blacking out, i ate regular, but i think the stress put more stress on my body. I ended up having a 1/4 cup of shrimp salad (i tried to not get the mayo as much as possible) prob not even that much but a good 5 bites. I had a small piece of turkey breast, half a huge apple, grapefruit, a couple of bites of briskit, no sauce, some tomatoes....i was strong enough to skip all the food that showed up, the mashed potato, gravy homeade bread, fried chicken, quiche, bbq, brownies, this incredible spinach salad with nuts, balsalmic and strawberries. 2 times when i stood my vision tunneled...it wasnt until a few steps each time it happened. My brother n law caught me once and sat me down and made me eat the turkey. ![]() ![]() ![]() Im home today but have to go back tomorrow for the wake. Im afraid i'll eat. I also forgot to take my last pellet last night. So only took 2. I'm also afraid i'll be starving and sick feeling when i need to be strong. I am down 1 lb from yesterday so not sure how but am...unless hasnt caught up with me. I dont want to screw up. Thanks ya'll just venting, and sure dont want to be the fainting diva at the wake! ![]() ![]()

Oh sweetie, I'm sorry. Even though he lived long and you knew it was his time it's still so so so hard, esp with everything else going on. Keep up your protein, get it in! Even if that's all you can get in, do that much! Are you going on P3 now? I sure as heck would. Do your couple days without pellets and up your protein a little if you can.

Ahh. Nurseypoo. First of all I am terribly sorry for your loss, my heart and prayers go to you and your family. You may have more stress coming soon with the step sis. Stay strong. Remember that you are doing HCG for yourself, and unfortuately you can't decide when things will happen in life. Try to stay strong for your Mom and your family, but mostly for yourself. you do not want to have self guilt on top of everything else that is going on, right?

nurseypoo, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. No matter what the age, it's never easy to lose a parent. Your poor mother--I can't imagine what this is like for her.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. |

Yes my dad did a new will in January, they only had 200,000 dollars in CDs that is supposed to make my mom survive on just his social security and the interest. She is 81 but my grandmother lived to be 95 and my mom is in awsome shape so another 15 yrs isnt even questionable for her. My mom took care of him for 35 yrs (he is my step dad but has been since i was young)...200k isnt much money and the house is worth more, or will be and that is evil steps. We do not want anything from my mom or dad, we just want mom to beable to survive! She could care less. The reason im staying is evil step should find out will was changed while here because she is expecting to walk away today with atleast 130k...she talked my dad last year into giving my mom 70k only...what a witch. seriously a witch. How could you do that to an 81 yr old woman who cared for your dad for 35 yrs!!!!
If she had taken even a little care of her dad i'd have more sympathy, but it was my husband who would come over to help with his baths, me and my sister who took them out to eat, and called and checked on them...she hasnt even bothered to see him. She did come 5 weeks ago for 1 day...1 day...and shes retired. crazy woman...seriously she once told me all AIDS pts should be put on a deserted island to die...even children...she said that at a thanksgving dinner table. the woman is EVIL. I have never ever liked her, not even a little bit. her only saving grace is a wonderful husband.. i look at her handsome wonderful husband and wonder what the hell he is thinking lol God bless that man, he has deserved much better. |

Hang in there...I think the hardest part of losing someone that close to you, is dealing with the family drama that follows... Don't let anyone get to you, you are the only one that can. I hope that makes sense, I'm so sorry for your loss.

This is a very nice picture. So sorry for your loss. Stay strong for your mom and for yourself. Please go into P3 if possible. I think your body will need it to get through the stress. Even if it's just an interruption you can give your body up to 14 days to cope with the stress before going back to VLCD.

Nurseypoo, I agree with everyone, p3 is needed right now, a person can only take so much stress sounds like an unsheduled break would do you good. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, I wish I had had a dad like yours. At least you know that you did everything you could for him while he was here and that says so much about who you are as a person and a daughter. It's so very humbling to care for a loved one let alone an ill parent. I would have done the same. Karma will take care of your step sister, trust me.
Treat yourself well my dear.

What a wonderful picture! You can get a sense of a person by their facial expression and the love that is eminating from them and from the people around them. He was a special guy and you were very blessed to call him "Dad." May God comfort you and carry you through this difficult time.
The "family drama" is the worst. Can't we allow someone to rest in peace and comfort each other in the aftermath? Greed never takes a back seat to sorrow. I hope your Mom has a good lawyer. I will be praying for you, Nurseypoo. As far as the weight loss plans go, I agree that P3 is a good idea. Just do the best you can. You can't afford to be faint! Your strength is needed, not just for yourself but for your family. I will also be praying that your evil step-sis "get's her's." Sooner rather than later. Is it wrong to pray for justice? I don't think so...Major hugs for you. x 150

So many
![]() coming your way, Nursey. I'm so sorry for your loss and for the BS your stepwitch is about to dredge up. ![]() I echo what everyone else is saying: take care of yourself. You won't be any good to anyone else if you aren't well and strong. Move on to P3 if you need to, rather than not being able to support yourself physically/emotionally on P2. P2 can be rough without the emotional component. Do what is best for your right now. Hang in there, NP. |

It looks like you had a jewel of a Dad! Keep him smiling as he looks down on those that still remain here on earth. Be kind to those who persecute you, and you and Dad will one day have the last laugh! Dad would want you to be kind... and be kind to yourself. If you have to adjust the diet, and not faint... do so! You need some strength for this time is not equal to other times. God love you! You have prayers going out to you and your family. Remember, be sweet in memory of your lovely Dad! Hugs and prayers. Dads are great, and I just bet you had one of the best!
