Still no signature option... oh well. I have been eating basically this:

Breakfast - water & Coffee
Snack - 1/2 Grapefruit
Lunch - 100g boiled, baked or broiled chicken breast with garlic & herbs
Lettuce
Dinner - 100g baked fish with herbs & lemon
Snack - cauliflour (I crumble it all up with a little herbs for 'fake' popcorn)
or a few strawberries... I love hot tea and vanilla Chai with stevia is a real treat.

Some of my days have been chicken breast for both lunch and dinner but I have noticed little difference in losses... however I got some lean cube steak, and it seemed like I didn't lose as much that day. I also drink a 2 Liter jug of water ++ every day... taking a whole foods multiple, L-glutamin for hunger, Potassium for calves cramping (alot) and a Cal-Mag-Zinc before bed, seems to help me sleep better and the Mag. helps with the bm.

I think I'm doing OK. Would like to be a little less hungry and irritable, but other than that... very happy with the weightloss... and it does seem to be coming from different places than 'usual'... usual would be da-boobs go first, then bottom, then some belly and thighs/knee fat - last.... on this plan I am happy to report, not much chest lost, knee fat really going quickly, the upper back hips going more quickly and it seems like my chin and arms are slimming.... I need to measure, but have basically been letting the way my clothes fit, be my guide... 18's are getting a little saggy and my 'big' tops are looking more tent-ly.... you know what that means... very soon I'm going shopping!!! yay!

I had to check it twice! it's been almost a year since I've been in the 250's!

A year ago I lost 30lbs on protein shakes and gained it back... .but let me tell you; this stuff works... I'm new at it, this is my very first time and I am thinking my dosage should be a little higher, but the company I get the premixed injections said it's best to start (with most patients to prevent getting immune) at .25 But for me, the first week (after LOADING alot!) I was not as hungry as I thought I would be. Week 2 has been a different story... I've been feeling hungry and irritable, but sticking it out and being maybe a little grumpier than usual to family... but they are still supportive.

I work weird hours, late night on the computer so i started with my shots in the afternoon... it wasn't working out because for some reason i was working late (til 2-3am) but still getting up early.. geez!? anyway - when I backed up the dose an hour each day for a couple days - I felt better! So, I talked to the consultant and she said she can premix my next round a little stronger... I'm on the 40 day (+2 vlcd) round... let's see - gosh in only 5 days I WILL BE HALF WAY THERE!!! Oh my goodness! I'm sticking with this! IT IS WORKING!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU, TOO!!!
How many of the premixed ones do you have left? Would you be willing to experiment a little? I'd be willing to bet that your problem isn't too little, it's too much. I backed mine way off. Can you get them to tell you what your dosage is in IU's? You're supposed to be between 125 and 200. If you're at 125, well, then that's that. If you're already at 175 or 200, and they raise you up, there could be a backlash effect. Simeons' writes about it in Pounds and Inches. My sweet spot is like 165-170. My doc wanted me like at 200+. Everyone is different.

If you wanted to try it, all you'd have to do is squirt a little out before injecting. What does yours measure? .25?

Hi Everyone! Catrightsell-thanks for the encouragement! I started loading yesterday (Wednesday), tomorrow will be day 1 of VLCD. Really nervous...
I did measurements, photos (with my husband), and already feel kinda antsy to get on with it, already! I am really good when I stick my mind to it.
What do you all put on your lettuce? I know I can used cider vinegar. Can strawberries be smashed up, blended with the vinegar to make a strawberry vinaigrette? That might be great on spinach...
Well, here I go, on my new adventure! Wish me luck!

Yes, if you are following protocol then the rest of your serving of strawberries sometime around there would be your fruit as well. (or wait a good while before you eat another different fruit so as to not mix)

My go-to dressing is a sweet-spicy mustard. I take regular no-sugar-no junk spicy mustard (just has mustard, vinegar, and spices) a little bit of vinegar, and a little bit of stevia. It sorta tastes like a honey mustard sauce. I use it on spinach, lettuce, chicken, and fish.

Good morning all!! Been away two days but back with a 2.4 LB loss!!! Yay!! Vlcd12 and im down 11 lbs!!! 200.6. Soo close to 199 I can taste it!!! No straying this weekend, even with the holidays I'm holding steady. I'd like to see 198 or better by Monday.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a lovely holiday weekend, everyone!!

Had a 0.8 loss this morning, which makes a total of 9.6 pounds gone at VLCD 12. Blood sugar down again to 143 and not experiencing much hunger (don't want to go through another week like the first one!). This marks the end of my second week. I will take measurements tomorrow morning, but I am wearing my bra 1/2 inch tighter and my belt 1 inch tighter, both of which feel good. I can feel more of my pelvis bones, too. Still a long way to go, but I am pleased with the results so far.

That's great! I'm at VLCD12 too and down almost as much. I had a plateau for a couple of days, but seem to be back on track. Good for you!

Great total losses, as you've had a bumpy journey, glad things have settled down for you. I bet your measurements will really drop.

I had a dream last night I fell off the wagon and ate all sorts of junk, woke up and almost believed it. So I went to the fitness center to weigh and my total loss is now 6 LB R1P2VLCD7

The .25 is 125 the next step up they said would be .35 and the highest .45 so, they did start me at the lowest recommended amount.

Sounds good-my husband loves honey-mustard and I was wondering if I could find some way to make it.

Again, thanks for the encouragement. Drops taken, one cup of joe down (ew. have to learn to like it black with stevia!). Vitamins coming up soon, along with 1/2 an apple or orange.

-1.5lbs today, after I had to eat out at a work luncheon at PF Changs yesterday. No idea how that happened. I was so panicked! Here's to hoping for a short round.

I have a question. Does stevia make anyone sick? I took my drops, had my coffee w/stevia, and took a Centrum. Twenty minutes later, tossed my cookies! (well, I didn't eat any cookies...lol). I have taken the drops two days, and felt a little queasy, but wonder if the combination of the drops and the stevia...well. Ideas? Can I use Splenda? Has anyone used that instead of the stevia?

Hi MM! Have you taken your multivitamin on an empty stomach both days? I wait to take my vitamins until I eat lunch or dinner so they don't make me sick. I hope you feel better soon!

It may have been the vitamin, but I had been taking that the same way as I did today, too. I have to take my levo on empty stomach, so I take that, wait a bit, take the drops, wait a bit, then take the vitamin. I spread these all out over an hour or so. It is quite a process! haha. I think I will wait until lunch for the vitamins from now on, though. Might be better.

Are you on Levothyroxin? I think you said you are hypothyroid, but I can't remember. I am on Armour, but I take mine in the morning before my coffee on an empty stomach, then my multivtamin and b complex with lunch, and then take my calcium with dinner. I feel your pain! The timing of everything can be a hassle.

Dr Simeon says dosage should be 125-175 but Kevin Trudeau's book says 175-200.. so I dont want to go over 200IU - but my second round after 6wks p3, I'm going to up dosage to 35cc

125 IU my Current dosage
Injection dosage is 25 units (.25cc)

175 IU
Injection dosage is 35units (.35cc)

200IU
Injection dosage is 40 units (.40cc)
