Jodarina, chicken days never work for me either, and they just make me really hungry.
Ouch, hope your bruises heal up quick! I wasn't hungry but sure didn't lose much. I'm thinking it was the salt, my fingers were a little swollen this morning.

Gotta go exercise before getting on the road to the OC. Have a great day everyone.
I made the same decision about HWC early on in P3. Now I use it "occasionally" . Also dropped my calories down to about 1700 (BMR is 1436, adjusted is 1968) When I try to raise my calorie level any more I gain.

The steak day might work better for me but I can't imagine not eating all day until dinner. If my weight keeps going up I guess I will be forced to try a steak day tomorrow

I know someone who splits their steak day up . They have an 8-12 oz steak for lunch and another for dinner and it works for them. Hope that works out for you

Half servings are always good as tests. Don't overwhelm your system. And if that's what you choose to try in one day, don't do anything else different so you know. Good luck!
Well, I didn't eat any different, but we were out walking around for 5 hours and the time/temp at Disney said 100 degrees. I know a got a little bit of sun(we weren't expecting to be there that long) I drank water but nowhere near enough to combat that heat. I am up 1lb today but still.2 below my ldw I'm wondering if that 1lb is water --I guess I'm going to do a clean day today and then try bread on a day where I get to sit at home in the air conditioning

Morning everyone. I am super tired today since I got home late from the baseball game last night. 6 hours of sleep does not a happy girl make! I took my own food instead of eating hotdogs or other junk at the stadium and more importantly, STAYED AWAY FROM THE BEER--always a challenge since the whole point of baseball to me is to sit outside on a nice day with your friends and throw back a few beers! It was a bit easier since another friend who is right in the thick of P2 was there. Next to what she was (not) eating and (not) drinking, an oopsie roll sandwich and a diet Pepsi looked really good. Calories topped out a little under 2100 so I think I should be landing around 2300-2500 for maintenance since after yesterday, I am down a pound'ish from the 4 that I had gained in the last 3 days or so. Thank goodness for starting 3 pounds UNDER LDW! I am back to just slightly above LDW and I've got a business lunch today and a weekend with a lot of eating and drinking coming up so I am going to try and tread water here for another couple of days although I wouldn't mind a little more wiggle room going into the weekend! We'll see...

Have a great day everyone!

Well I only lost 1 lb on my egg correction day. So today I am just 0.2 lbs under my 2 lb window from my LDW. I know the weight can really fluctuate, and earlier in the week I lost 1.4 lbs not eating any differently, so I will continue to eat P3 today and see how it goes.

The funny thing is, I am eating mostly protein & fat. I had one serving of frozen berries in ricotta/heavy cream & truvia the night before my big gain, and I haven't eaten any other fruit yet, and have only had 2 servings of vegetables daily (usually celery in a protein smoothie or salad in a chef's salad, and then cauliflower or another non-starchy vegetable for dinner).

I am also still trying to find my correct dose of thyroid hormone (temps not yet quite 98.6). So that may be a factor as well.

I hope everyone is enjoying their P3, stabilizing well or losing well on a correction day, and for those of you in P4--you lucky dogs!!

You went down 2.8 lbs!!! That's phenomenal. I was a bit disappointed with my one pound, but you're right, at least it's something. You have inspired me to try a GY day for my next correction day. I'm actually going to try to eat more today--my big jump up came right after I felt like I ate too little for dinner. I felt hungry later on, but didn't want to eat past 8pm.

I hope you see some more losses as well, and I'm hoping I don't have to do another correction day tomorrow!

Yummmmm.....(except for the pork rinds--I just can't do them ) You won't be jealous to hear what I ate yesterday:

2 over easy eggs cooked in butter
heavy cream in decaf

4 scrambled eggs with 1/4 cup shredded cheese cooked in butter
heavy cream in decaf

4 hard boiled eggs mixed with Duke's mayo
heavy cream in decaf

I definitely like your day better!!!!

Day 3 of P3 and sitting right on LDW. Breakfast was a bust this morning. I had made myself scrambled eggs with ham and cheddar but as I was sitting down to eat it, I dropped it on the floor. The dogs enjoyed it but I didn't have time to make more so it was a piece of ham and almonds on the way out the door for me.

I am still "coming back down" from a 10+ up.... so its not as nice as it sounds! I am still 4.8 over my lowest!! UGH! I do love the full fat greek yogurt days though, they are my favorite correction. I am not in P2, and not in P3, just trying to fix what I broke before my trip...

I just started P3 today! Yay! well, I was supposed to start it at lunchtime since I took my last shot probably at noonish on Monday. Hm. I had about a 1/2 tsp butter with my 2 eggs scrambled and about 1 tsp of tahini to try it. That's all until lunch now Tummy happy.

I didn't lose ANYTHING on my 3 VLC days after my shot, stayed exactly the same, so no buffer. However, I did up my protein on 2 of the days from being dizzy. So I'm good with that, as long as I don't jump now like 3 pounds as my body fills up with all the protein I'm going to indulge in today!

Enjoy eating today! I didn't have a buffer either but I have eaten a lot in the last couple of days and really have had no problems. Hopefully it continues that way since I will be out of town this weekend and eating out everyday.

Enjoy all the P3 goodness , Your pic looks terrific, it inspires me

This is my first round and I'm a week into P4. I had a wonderfully stable P3. I've dabbled in bread but that's pretty much it. I'm just wondering, from you guys who have more experience with hcg. I'm a bit hypervigilant because 1. I retain water easily (mostly from heat--and I live in FL so there is no escape) and 2. I can gain crazy amounts of water up to a week and a half before TOM but am slightly irregular so I never know if a gain is water or something I ate. I'm afraid I'm making my hubby crazy over this Curious what others have done to find peace with this

Well I am up 1.2 today which puts me 4.2 lbs above my LDW and 2.2 lbs above my window. I have no idea what's going on but I am doing an egg CD today. Oddly enough, my clothes are not any tighter and my measurements are relatively the same so I'm not sure where these 4 pounds are.

As soon as I got off the scale this morning I went in the kitchen and put on a pot of eggs to boil. So far I've had 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast and 4 hard boiled eggs for lunch. I plan on having about 3 more scrambled eggs in butter for dinner. I did not add anything to my eggs but I did have coffee with HWC this morning.

I guess I need to stock up and prepare to do a CD every other day until I get back in my window. I really don't want to do this but the problem apparently won't go away on its own so I need to take action. I will be stopping by the store this evening to stock up on eggs, steak, and full fat GY so I can just alternate CDs. Hopefully my egg CD will be better than my GY CD was earlier this week.

Hey all! I've been lurking in this thread for the last week, since I started P3, and decided it was time to join in

First week has been very stable. I've added almonds, stawberries, blueberries, blackberries, melon, SF chocolate, and LOTS of HWC and avocado in addition to other fats. I'm a little worried about this weekend as we are going camping for the first time this season and I won't have a scale with me. I've prepared lots of P3 friendly snacks, desserts, some oopsie rolls...so hopefully things will go well.

I'll post again when we get back. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Here's what I've eaten today:

2 eggs, 1 tsp butter
1 tsp tahini (didn't really like it - disappointed)
1/2 cup full fat Greek Yogurt
4 strawberries

1 can waterpak tuna
1 1/2 tbls real mayo
small amount dill relish (no sugar)

2 slices cheddar cheese
25 olives! YES 25 olives! that's 5 servings according to the can....
5 small chicken drumsticks baked w/onion and garlic powder-started off as 3, then 4, then 5
(cooked with skin on but didn't eat the skin)

Holy cow I'm full now. Was STARVING before I ate tonight. Was going to eat a big salad but I was having tummy upset from the reintroduction of fat into my diet and so just had the chicken ala carte.

I plan on having another 1/2 cup or so of GY and a few more berries for dessert in a bit-Maybe- I'm really full from all that chicken! My eyes were DEFINITELY bigger than my stomach! Yikes!

Going to have BIG SALAD tomorrow but I need to go get my Marie's. My hubby does the shopping for me (I know, I'm lucky!) and I forgot to ask for it. I also bought some konjac noodles and I'm going to make a big pot of p3 spaghetti with a little parmesan for tomorrow. Going out with friends tomorrow night and so if the scale is ok I will probably have one glass of dry red wine or a tequila shot with squeeze of real lime. If it is up, probably not.

Since I have no buffer going into P3 I'm hoping today's menu treats me ok and if not, there's always STEAK tomorrow!!!

I'm sorry! Goodness! When I gain even a couple pounds I feel it in my tummy really badly.... Do you suppose it's just water weight? ToM impending or anything? Exercise water weight?

This is my first round and I'm a week into P4. I had a wonderfully stable P3. I've dabbled in bread but that's pretty much it. I'm just wondering, from you guys who have more experience with hcg. I'm a bit hypervigilant because 1. I retain water easily (mostly from heat--and I live in FL so there is no escape) and 2. I can gain crazy amounts of water up to a week and a half before TOM but am slightly irregular so I never know if a gain is water or something I ate. I'm afraid I'm making my hubby crazy over this Curious what others have done to find peace with this
I gave myself a 3-pound rule instead of a 2-pound rule on my P4 after R3 for this reason. But beware! 2 becomes 4 becomes 8 in a BLINK - so be vigilant. If you choose not to do a steak day or other correction day THE DAY your weight goes up, you can play heck and waste alot of time getting it down. Otherwise, I know some people just "adjust" their LDW and live with it being a little higher if it doesn't go back down.
