Peggy, I think you're doing awesome. It could be that your body was maybe just not done losing weight? Anyway, all you can do is eat more, right?

Morning all and and even earlier morning than normal for me. I'm up a pound and a half yesterday so I think I DO need to bring my calories down and lay off the HWC. Not out of my window but a bit over LDW so a am going to do a couple of days of clean eating and slightly lower calories and see where I land weight wise. I'm thinking I will drop it down into the 2200-2300 range and see how it goes. It's all about the experiment, right?

Gotta go exercise before getting on the road to the OC. Have a great day everyone.

I haven't had any hunger yet R1P2VLCD2 I have been taking Nigen drops. Today my intermountain pellets came so I will switch to those tomorrow. I hope they work as well as these drops have.
SOrry - just saw this. I am also taking the Nigen. Thats all i could find, but they are working pretty well. I was thinking of ordering the pellets, so let me know how they work!!

SO here we go - day 1 - down 4.5!!!!

I am loving this plan. I had my beef cabbage and an apple and grissini last night and was actualy stuffed. How crazy is that?

I will tell you, I have tried everything over the past few months - WW, low carb, lo fat, etc. After years and decades of dieting, I was about ready to give up, but now I think I may have actually found the way!!!!

I would say that would be fine. Once you get stable in P3 you can try various things. You always have your steak day for a backup! I'd try to re-introduce some 1/2 servings of carbs/starches/sugars one at a time and follow Simeons' P4 for awhile before going into CAD if you've never done it before. Reason being, you may not need to do that at all! But the concept, if you understand it, is perfectly reasonable. The insulin surge affects some people waaaay more than others. Read the book and see what you think. I maintained great after R1 and R2. It was R3 that I dove headfirst into too many caution foods right away and had a hard time stabilizing. And then came the cruise and the holiday weight. Alls I'm sayin, is, try P4 before you give up on the thought that you might not be as carb sensitive as you think!

I will do it, thanks!
Will you be posting current pics soon?

Yes, Peggy!

Shelby, I went a little nuts on the HWC last round and it seems to me that's when I noticed gains starting. You're both doing beautifully, though!

You know, I just love coming here everyday seeing that someone has lost some pounds! I'm down 2 lbs today, so I'm finally back on track of losing. Down 1/2 lb from Friday from when the weekend of eating terror happened. So once again I'm moving in the right direction! Next week would be my last week on p2 but I think I'm going to extend it a few more days to "try" to make up for the 3 day eat-a-thon I had. 29 more days before we leave for vacation and I WANT to be looking good when we leave!

I am doing the same thing Dawn. I figured since Memorial Day was coming up and we invited my parents to our house for a picnic that I better take an interruption. I will be in P3 tomorrow and will be re-starting a rogue P2 next Tuesday or at least that is my plan so far!

Wannalose -- I 'll let you know about the pellets, I'm taking first ones soon. It took forever to get the box and wrapping open this AM to get to the pellets so I went and took the drops, cause I gotta have my AM coffee as soon as possible.
R1P2VLCD5 No loss this morning, but I ate really late last nite. The scale I have access to is not very reliable, so I'll go by the fitness center tomorrow and see how that does. The 2 scales were 5 Lb different on my start day weight. So that's why my ticker is showing pounds lost not actual weight

I'm on my 72 hours, last day, today. Holding steady. I had to add an extra boiled egg last night after class, was shaky, dizzy, etc. I don't like to vary from Simeons' strict protocol but it is what it is. When I get like that, sometimes a migraine is headed my way and protein usually helps forestall it. *whew*

Feeling good this morning! One more day to P3 for me! Hold 'er nice and steady, all!

Nice job C'Marie! You are doing great! Good luck on P3.

Today is P3D13 for me and I am closer to my LIW window. *Just* underneath it. I am eating better. 2011 looks like a mixed bag of good and bad for me. I am hoping to start 2012 healthier and happier.

C'Marie - GREAT new avi! You should be so proud of yourself! Yay you!

Peggy - sorry to hear that you're still having a rough one. But also glad to hear you're getting back closer to LIW.

For myself, I am down a pound'ish from the 4 that I had gained in the last 3 days or so (thank goodness for starting 3 pounds UNDER LDW!) so now I am back to just slightly above LDW. Went to a baseball game last night and took an oopsie roll sandwich instead of eating hotdogs or other junk at the stadium and STAYED AWAY FROM THE BEER! It was a bit easier since another friend who is right in the thick of P2 was there. Next to what she was (not) eating and (not) drinking, an oopsie roll sandwich and a diet Pepsi looked really good. Calories topped out a little under 2100 so I think I should be landing around 2300-2500 for maintenance. I've got a business lunch today and a weekend with a lot of eating and drinking coming up so I am going to try and tread water here for another couple of days although I wouldn't mind a little more wiggle room going into the weekend! We'll see...

Have a great day everyone!

-2.8 today. Wooooooooooosh! I did not eat my vegetable with dinner, and I did not drink a lot of water yesterday.

I reduced my dose from 175 to 150 today to see if it will help with hunger. I'll see how I feel on Saturday.

Yep... If I would stop screwing up, it would be easier!! But trying to recover still from it and getting closer! I had a great workout at turbo kickboxing last night too, was soooo sweaty, so that made me feel better too! I have 1 or 2 more dosing days and then back to P3, whereever my weight may land... hopefully at 144 or less, but we will see !!

Today I was down .2 only, but on the other hand P4 have started also so now I dont care of losing weight Would be kinda interesting to see where I would end up if I didnt force feed myself for P3. I am 4.8 pounds under LDW again, so basicaly I lost over 10 pounds in P3 and ate it up

I'm on P3 now - with NO cush room at all. Exactly the same weight as LIW. Taking it nice and slow.

Planning to start (gently) working out a bit on a rebounder if I can get one soon. I need to start rehabbing my hip. Gentle so that I don't hurt it and also so my maintenance doesn't depend on it .....

I am back at my LIW. I had processed meat for all 3 meals and pickles with my tuna for dinner last night. Can you say SODIUM?!?!

I hope I can get through this next week of P3 and then onto P4!

I know what you mean for sure! I thought I had read a couple of days back that you were concerned about being under. Forgive me if I misinterpreted or got you mixed up with someone else. Just thinking about you and hoping you are ok... (And I'll stop commenting--just seems that we are up at the same time so your posts are almost always right before mine. I'm NOT a cyber stalker--I SWEAR! ) ^^^^See?!

I think that I do need to have more wiggle room myself in my window since my fluctuations seem to be quite large for the most part for no reason that I can see (calories, food, macronutrient ratios). For example, last Saturday I was at 152.6. This morning I am at 153.1. But in between, I had a 2.1 and a 1.7 gain and two 1.0's and a 1.7 loss so not really much in the 0.2 range. Right now I am 1.5 below LDW and that's probably good since I'll be eating and drinking this weekend for sure. I am planning to try and skate a little under LDW for the most part. And if it takes me a week to get back to it by eating "clean", well then I am happy to eat 2200 low-carb P3 calories!

I hope you all have a great Friday and a happy Memorial Day weekend!
