have to stop p3 early! :(
Hi everyone,
I restarted P2. Had a bit of trouble the first time. This time seems to be good. Lost 10 my first week. However, I have to have surgery at the end of June...and so won't be able to finish P3....eating will be minimal for about a week or so...and then my Mom is here (who doesnt' know I went on this and is going to need to cook for me) so, what do you think will happen? I will be at day 16 I believe. |

If your surgery isn't until the end of June, I don't understand not being about to get in the minimal 23 days of P2 and then doing as much of P3 as you can before your surgery.
Am I getting the dates mixed up? |

If you're eating starches and sugars during P3 you will likely gain some weight and may have trouble stabilizing. You could possibly be fine, I've read several folks who cheated all through P3 w. no problem. Maybe you could talk to your mom and see if she would make LC foods for you while you recover? That's easier than doing P2. Good luck!!

I am on P2 right now. It should end June 8th. I start P3 June 9th. But cannot go right through as surgery is June 25 ( quite a biggie) so....I will only have completed P3 for 16 days. (properly)
Ah well....not much I can do. I had this surgery last year and gained weight from the long recovery time and doing nothing...so wanted to lose what I had gained so I don't gain on a gain hehehe. Here's hoping I continue progress in P2 and that the short P3 will still be okay. |

16 days is better than nothing! I am new to this so I don't have any good answers, but want to wish you luck with the surgery! I think if you eat whole clean foods it will be good for your body as well as your healing. I know you are not supposed to diet after a surgery, so maybe just eat more protein, veggies, and fruit if you can? Better for your health and waist.

I will be finishing P2 on June 8th. Then I have to have surgery on the 23rd....so it isn't 3 weeks like it is supposed to be. |

Surgery date was pushed up a bit. My Mom will be cooking and I can tell her but at the same time...she is flying here to help and even when she leaves, I cannot drive for 8 weeks, cannot do anything including cook....so food will be difficult.
Ah well, not much I can do but just keep my fingers crossed! |
