Morning all.
Down also!

Down 2.2 - I am in VIRGIN weight loss. As of yesterday, had lost all my week-end load weight (5 pounds). Lost 2.2 yesterday and .2 of that puts me at a weight I have not seen in YEARS. My lowest P3 weight was 163 and my LDW was 165..... today I am 162.8!

A lot to digest in the previous posts.

Nursey I did a 76 day round. The reason the round was that long was because I did go off for a "feeding frenzy" at a convention. I gained during that convention, but went back on P2 when I got back and lost it all in 3 days. (I'm 53) I went off a couple other times for just a day - and it took me 2 days to lose a one day cheat gain. I wasted some time, but it was a "liveable" thing for me. Situations come up.... as they say, LIFE happens. I have two things in my near P2 future. My nephew graduates Saturday and a big party - if I go off on Saturday, I will add a week to my P2 (P2 will then go from 21 days to 28 days - I have to decide if it is worth it at the party). Next hurdle - sons girlfriends birthday - going out with her family to eat, probably Olive Garden. Same decision to make.... if I go off, I will add another week of P2. Therefore, my short P2 round of 21 days could potentially turn into 35 days in just the next week.

Cheryl I was a couch potato - food freak prior to January 1, 2011. Lots of starts and stops on low carb and exercise.......BUT no STICK TO ITNESS! I have been exercising since the 2nd week in January and using hHcg in some fashio (2nd round now). I have lost over 38 pounds, from a size 18 to a size 12 and I actually (for the most part) look forward to exercising everything. Feeling better - more balanced, more flexible, more energetic every day.

Well everyone....happy losing!

When a hungry day shows up, what do you do? Do you just eat more "on plan" food or eat things you shouldn't eat?

I had a hungry day yesterday too.... DAY 3 .... oh heck, last round I had 21 hungry days at the beginning. I added a hard boiled egg to my salad last night and had some 0% Greek Yogurt earler in the day.

I tell ya one thing, 0% GY does not satiate the way full fat GY does!

I had a double work out last night and I think that was why I did lose well. Well that, and heck - it's only DAY3 - everyone loses well for the first 3-7 days.

This time, I ate a few off plan things. I also just realized it's PMS week, which traditionally is a hungry time for me. Having that knowledge is actually helpful. It's "just" PMS. I'll add more allowable food if the hungries come back.

This is a great supportive group

I had to post and say this group is wonderful for support. It is only my second day on p2 but I am ok and not hungry, which is a relief as I have been feeling quite anxious about the plan. I was hungry last night after my workout but then I could eat dinner and I was ok again. Today I was only hungry at around noon so I listened to my body and only ate then. I am fine, not crabby, got lots of energy and eating very moderately. I have to avoid anything sweet as it sends my blood sugar into overdrive, so I avoid fruit and wont even venture there because I might eat all I can find after.... lol. Anyway so far so good. I am looking forward to a busy w/end with lots of household chores, I will try and make it fun stuff like sorting out my shoes (I have loads of shoes...lol) That should keep my mind off food

I so can relate, as I was up yesterday 1.2, but I did a modified FFF yogurt day yesterday (fat free yogurt, 34 oz)

So not sure if the darn fairy really visited me or not, but was down 2.2 this morning, which was the 1.2 I gained yesterday and another one (the last 2 days average probably) but I will take it! At least it was a new number, so I did my shot and will gauge tomorrow when I stop... (its day to day now!!!) LOL

Nice job

Maybe this will kickstart some continued downward movement on the scale until you decide to stop. Good luck!

Cathy Do you like the fat free Fage? I thought I did, but I had some yesterday and it just wasn't the same as full fat I had been eating. I have to get used to it all over again. During my long round, I actually forgot how good "fat" is to eat. P3 and P4 brought it all back.

I'm not Cathy but the fat free Fage is definitely more bitter to me then the full-fat stuff. If you have a flavored protein powder you can try mixing a little in and letting it sit for a bit, it gets a bit thicker and more palatable. I'd stay away from the stuff but when I'm desperate in P2 Fat Free Fage Days kickstart my losses for a day or two

I much prefer the full fat... but I got used to the Fat free again so I can have it during P2... But in P3, I will be right back to the Full fat version!! I am willing to make small sacrifices for a few weeks!!

Hey, girls! I took notes today so my post won't be as long as a football field.

Cathy, Woohooooo! That was a long time coming, but it came! So happy for you! Six days left!?

DrunkenSailor (), good advice about the paradigm shift exercise for Nurseypoo's vacation.

AhealingLady, WTG! Nice whoosh! I think your daily cleanse drink it going to help you a lot. I take Mag O7 daily now. It helps but I still need to take Milk of Magnesia sometimes to get "caught up."

Paula, . It must be so hard to make headway when you go off P2 every weekend. I could never do that. But you have to do what you have to do. You'll get there, just more slowly, with more ups and downs. Hang in there!

Tina, Cool! 70 lbs is AWESOME!

Kopeysmom, nice whooshy! Sorry you forgot your shot. I don't use those, but since it is only once a day, I'd take it as soon as you get back home. Bet you won't do that again! Hope it doesn't hurt you any.

Teri, VT! You're almost out of the 160's! Thanks for the talk on exercise. It must "do a body good" if so many couch potatoes are converts! I can empathize about the two challenges you have this week. Those are the things that have made me have to do such a long round. But I'd rather do it this way and be able to LIVE!

2Babes, I'm sorry about the PMS nonsense. At least you can blame it on that and know it will pass.

Tracy, I thought you were reporting losing 2.2 lbs at first, then I realized that was a quote from someone else. In the bottom right hand corner of the post you want to quote, just click on the button and it will copy it into your new post. WTG on day 2! Sounds like you are adjusting well. Hope the hungries fade away for good.

Okay, I think I got everyone. I'm down another 0.4 today. I finally figured out how to add a ticker to my siggy, so gone is the old one I had to create out of desperation over these many months. If anyone else is having trouble getting one in their siggy, I just wrote how to do it in a thread (I had asked for "dummies" instructions on how to do it, then ended up having to answer my own question.)

Still rainy and terrible here. I thought it was leaving us today, but not for a few more days. I need sunshine!

Have an excellent day today.

Hi Cheryl! Yay on more losing!

So you Greek yogurt eating ladies...what's the best way to make it palatable? I have only had full fat GY one time and to be honest, the tartiness was a little off-putting to me. Is fat free stuff really tart?

What about other fat free yogurts? Anyone try others?

I like the Fage because it's higher in protein and I'm just used to it but Chobani, Stonyfield Farms (Oikos) and Dannon all make fat free Greek style yogurt that are little more mild tasting than Fage IMO. I either add some flavored stevia or a little protein powder but if you're daring you could also add a little unsweetened cocoa powder and the sweetener of your choice too

Mmmmm cocoa. I just might be daring, mymy!
I do have some Jay Robb protein powder at home. Perhaps I'll have to get some GY and give it another try. It'd be a nice change from my daily bore.

I have never been able to add cocoa powder and get it sweet enough with the stevia I use so I end up tossing the container and those things are expensive

But it might be easier if you use something like the flavored syrups or Splenda. the Jay Robb would be good as a mix-in too just be sure to account for the calories and make sure to let it sit for a few minutes after mixing. I so get you on the changing up the daily bore, as much as you can on P2 anyway.

I use Torani or DaVinci SF flavorings - cocoa powder - koolaid (SF) and splenda. I am not a real fan of stevia, but I do like truvia - so I use that. I have always been able to get it sweet. I have never used protein powders in P2 due to the added calories, but in P3...OMG the sky is the limit....peanut butter, nuts, berries.....I could go on and on, but I do I will be doomed to fail today.

I'm not a fan of stevia either, unfortunately I didn't realize that until after I ordered several bottles before my first round forever ago and now my frugal (read:cheap) conscience won't allow me to buy anything else until I've finished these

Me three! I have never been able to develop the taste for stevia, but like Teri, I can use Truvia. I have to precisely measure it out though. No more than 3/4t.

Gaaak!

I hear you about the vacation challenge Nurseypoo5. I'll bet you will find yourself making better choices than in previous times. Also you may find yourself very satisfied with less quantity. It's always more challenging when we eat out (but fun too!)
wtg!! Im only down .2, but i guess its better than up lol.

I am losing slower than i thought i would i know 18lbs is great but most of it came off the first 5 days. Im day 19 now and its slowwww. I am actually having a problem eating everything im supposed to eat and that might not be helping, plus im not drinking nuff water, so im guzzeling this week. my bad.

I did realize that iim probably eating to big of an apple. My hubby bought me lady pinks, and i wieghed one and it wieghed 260g!!! PROBABLY not helping either! My apple and my grapefruit is all i look forward to eating I have to force protein down my throat and often miss some.

Thanks on the vacation hugs, i'll make better choice, and i'll make bad ones (no doubt) but in the end, im sure it will come off quickly. I ready somewhere on the p3 board how to do a week long correction and i think that will be my plan when i return. I think its like a steak day, a reg day, a shake day, a reg day, an egg day, a reg day blah blah. I can do that

As long as you have a plan beforehand I think you'll be fine too
