I add a bit more to the chili than most people. I use the lean beef - fire roasted tomatoes - petite diced tomatoes - beef stock - spices - can of jalapenos - can of green chilis - an onion or two (sometimes other veggies - cabbage, zuchini, celery, muschrooms, spinach, etc) I divide into about 6 servings. I mix and add things that are not protocol. I count as a protein and a veggie.

Teenagers!! They think they know it all too!! I still have one left at home, having survived 2 girls... this one seems calm in comparison (boy)..
So only down 0.4 and back where I was after gaining 0.4 yesterday! Stall time! I might have to call it early if this continues! I have 7 more days of shots, but as usual, nothing is happening and I am getting frustrated. I could almost see the light at the end of the tunnel for reaching goal, but nada now!! I keep telling myself, any day now, you are going to have a whoosh and make it worth it, but its not happening... boo! ![]() Well I did my shot already this morning, so I will see what happens today and maybe take the day off exercise, and then do my shot tomorrow. IF my weight is still not moving, I might call it tomorrow and then go to P3 on Saturday! Not my original plan but I will go crazy if I am not losing and still on P2!!! Hope you all have a better start to the morning than I did!!!

You know...this may be a good plan. I think if you aren't losing on P2 and dealing with limited choices, low calories and struggling, maybe a move to P3 is a good idea. Your body just may have reached a point (since you are so close to goal!) that it needs a rest from losing. I am still losing, albeit slowly, but I'm dreaming of food! I might need an emotional break from P2 so I don't go completely off the rails. |

2 1/2 pounds gone overnight. Of course my weight is still up from my pre-mother's day cheat but it'll come off! Only 2 1/2 pounds to go! I'm really fighting this cold/sinus infection. Today I didn't think I was going to be able to stand I was so dizzy and light-headed. Now I'm starting to wonder if I wasn't just dehydrated as I've drank 32oz of water and a good 20 oz of coffee and I've yet to go the the bathroom. I am feeling better though I could really use a nap! The fever is what's getting to me. One minute I'm hot the next minute cold. Gah!
I love the boob talk... my best friend and I were talking about that today. We both need a good strapless bra for the summer and so we were compairing our racks. This cycle I've lost some of the girls, the first cycle I did not. I'm a little annoyed to lose some boobs although I'm still a good c cup. Hope everyone has a great day. I've got a ton of work to do!

Reminds me of a funny thought. Remember that Staples commercial where the father is shopping for school supplies while the music plays 'Its the most wonderful time of the year....'? That was me way back when. I used to treat the first day of school like a holiday - I'd take myself out for lunch. The constant bickering between the 2 oldest and the complaints about having nothing to do get old fast after 2 months. Enjoy it while you can - mine are all out on their own now (ages 29, 27 & 24). Good Tuesday all!

AS for the boobs, I know I am odd, but I prefer the smaller over the bigger, more comfortable for me... I felt very uncomfortable when they grew with the weight. Morning Ladies (and your boobs!)
I'm awake, gearing up for what is to be a very productive day --- sounds like a lot of us are bullying through a lot of work at the moment... so here's hoping we succeed!!! Melanie -- so sorry you are sick... that just sucks. May it pass soon!!! All three in our household have been feeling a bit off for a couple of days -- sinus pressure, body and head aches... not sure if it is a real illness, or just a reaction to pressure changes and a strange, unexpected storm... (we all have chronic health problems... roommate and I both have chronic Lyme -- mostly in remission, but still an ongoing thing to manage--, and my partner has M.S. -- so we have finicky bodies.) I am going to bully through it and kick some tushy on this house today, hooyah! Weight exactly the same today -- 108.8 -- but I look leaner in the mirror... so maybe, MAYBE, some of that up-swing in weight is real muscle gain

Oh, and I think... I think... my period is over! Yahooooooo! This one was much, much more normal than the last -- a bit heavy for me, but other than that, it acted pretty much like one of my periods usually does. Let's hope it ends as it should, and that it is followed by a nice 28 days of no bleeding.....at least!
I may yet get an and of TOM whoosh -- I usually don't see the TOM-weight-drop until a day or two after it is really gone.... I'm not too worried what the scale says at this point, as long as it stays within that 105-110 range... I'll take a well-muscled, lean 110 over a floppy and sunken 105 any day. I'm thinking of the scale mainly as one of several tools at the moment -- I do suspect that when I do my next bodyfat reading (this week) I will see that my lean mass has increased, and my bodyfat has dropped... and that is really the goal I am shooting for! |

Hi Everybody, I'm going to mark my place here as I am contemplating starting another round soon. I'm in P3 and I usually skip P4 and cycle right into a P2 but for the first time since I started HCG I've been losing weight in this P3 so I'm still deciding if cycling back will be worth it
![]() I'm planning to add back exercise this week as well so maybe I'll retain some water to stabilize my weight, I never thought I'd wish for water retention from exercise though ![]() |

Yesterday was my first day without drops. I was starving. I had been hungrier the last few weeks but yesterday I really gave in. About 1800 cal including peanut butter and oven fried potatoes. I lost .4 pounds. Jeez I can't figure this out some time.
I had just got new bras, 44 d or dd depending on the style to 36 D, 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden, poof, the cups are wrinkly. So I guess the cutlets come out until I can get new bras. I want to lose 1.5 pounds from each inner thigh, 1 pound from each upper under arm, 6 pounds from my tummy, and 4 pounds from my back. Haha! That is how much I guess in each area. That's 15 more pounds for next round.

"Morning," girls! It's 2:18 pm here, but it still feels like morning to this late-sleeper. Actually, I woke at 0300 and was up for an hour or two but managed to wrangle a few more hours of zz's.

Wow, Liz -- that is a huge drop in band size -- congratulations!!!! Are you sure your band size is small enough now? I was quite surprised how much difference the right size of band makes... I'd been wearing 32s, and even sometimes 34s, and making do with them... but I actually measure out for a 30... my roommate does too --
We finally decided to take the plunge and buy properly fitting bras... and OMG it makes a difference --- SO much more comfortable, and much more flattering, too. Of course a size 30 is hard to find... so I had to shell some bucks for them (I bought two)-- but well, well worth the investment. |

![]() I get what you mean about losing slowly in P3 and if this was my last round or I was losing slowly (I'm dropping almost a pound a day though) but the reason I stopped P2 was because I thought my body was tired of losing and could use a break, losing in P3 coupled with the fact I usually skip P4 means the ol' Temple isn't really getting a break you know? Okay, ladies -- Monkey-of-the-everchanging-plans is switching it up a little, again.... I've been doing a lot of reading on calorie cycling/ IF... and I am going to try that with this p2-cycle.... meaning up days/down days, with a few periods of fasting (24 hours or so) thrown into the week.
Starting today, I am going for an IF day -- I just had a good, hearty morning meal, and am going to keep it at that until tomorrow morning.... I was doing this on p3, and really liked it, but then got derailed when the neverending period took me back on the drops. I want to try it again now, combined with this modified p2..... will let you know how it goes. |

Mymy, I didn't even read that part about the exercise, so I wasn't commenting on that at all. I was just talking about losing in P3 in general. I'm still hoping someone will tell me that it's okay to do, if it just happens naturally by eating a LC diet.

![]() As for me and continuing to lose in P3 it's my personal opinion that your body just needs a break after losing so much weight in such a short time. It gives your skin and internal organs a chance to rest, losing weight is pretty hard on the body especially if you do back-to-back rounds. And for me it also gives me a chance to "learn" and become aware what things I can and cannot eat to maintain weight and how to correct things if I take a misstep here or there. It's kinda like getting "in-tune" with the new me. But like I said that's just my personal opinion, I have no science or anything to back that up and at the end of the day you have to do what feels right for you |

I think there IS science to back that up. I think Simeon's talks about that in P+I. I think it's a wise choice. But for me I'm going to find it very hard to try to maintain when I know I have so many more lbs to lose. I will program my brain to accept it and I will do my very best to not lose anymore during P3.

Dont all men love to talk about boobs, lol. As a lactation consultant I see boobs all day long! I had no idea they could be so different.
I can just fasten the band on my 36's so I have room to shrink around. I don't mind moving down to a C cup. I just wish I hadn't just bought them. I might see if Kohls will exchange them. Doing so much better with hunger today. Hope I can get my calories in tomorrow! |

Dont know if any of you remember me or not, but I did really well on my first round of VLCD lost 21 pounds was getting ready for phase 3 and had to go into the hospital...well afterwards someone had advised me after I was done with my soft food diet to go ahead and do a phase 3 and continue on..
well it just never really came into fruition and basically I ate small amounts of whatever sounded good because my appetite was poor.. so here it is 2 months later and its my first loading day and imagine my amazement.. When my loading day weight is the same EXACT number as my LDW! so here goes round 2! |
