Random Thoughts...
My commitment is to lose the weight and be passionate about eating healthier for the rest of my life. I want to participate in more outdoor adventures, tear up the dance floor with my friends, and regain my confidence... oh, to really enjoy going to the beach again! Besides just wanting to be healthier, I want to be light on my feet and worry free about sitting in booths, wearing summer styles and going shopping with my sister... etc.
[Please God, help me lose 100 lbs!]![]() |

Mokih - WTG on the 3.2 lb loss!
![]() Catrightsell - Great goals and committments to have! Having a goal or several really helps the mentality of sticking to the diet. Halebpop - I love the pellets, I had a little hunger at first but it seemed to go away within the first few days. I find spacing out my meals helps too. I typically eat my fruit at a later time and not with my lunch or dinner. Lunch is usually around 11:30 - 12:00 ;fruit around 3:00 and then dinner ranges anywhere from 5:00 - 7:00; fruit usually around 8:00 - 9:00. My stats today are down .4 from yesterday. 6.4 lbs to go until goal. I have noticed a pattern with me since I broke the stall. I seem to be in the same range for 2 days typically at a .4, .6, or .8 and then drop down to the next number on the scale on the 3rd day. If that is the case, then my ballpark for P3 will be around 6/4 - at least I hope so anyway or if I get lucky maybe I will be able to enter it earlier !

Congrats! I am 5 foot as well. I may be a little over 5 foot but not quite 5'1". I think I am shrinking as I get older - which totally stinks! My goal was between 115-120 but I think I am going to stop at 120 for this round and maybe pick it up later in the fall to get between 110-115. (I think that is a normal weight range for a woman who is 5 foot).

KELLY- i dont know if you saw yesterday but I was wondering how long you've been on the diet
I am stopping after 21 days. I dont think i can do longer and I am going to florida June 10th and want to have some time on P3 before I go. I am hoping to maintain lower than 125 and then after the fall start again to get to 110-115 |

Good morning losers!! Happy friday!
I'm down .8 today, even after the buffalo chix dip from yesterday. I was so good at dinner - chicken fajitas with onions and I left the sour cream, tortillas and guac on the table (probably the hardest thing I've done in forever!!!)!!! I did have one small bite of my daughters birthday dessert, but I have no prob with that. VLCD5 and I'm down 8 lbs total. I am hungry hungry again today and have a headache; I'm sure that's from the sugar. I thank you all for your posts, comments and advice!!! I know they're for everyone's benefit, but it's nice to know I'm not doing this alone. My daughter and boyfriend are gone this weekend, so I'm gonna have GREAT food focus. I hope you all do, too!! Weight stayed the same--I must be losing inches, then!
![]() So far, I'm liking the ease of the pellets. Hunger was in the distance so I will try upping by one and gauge after that. Have a great day everyone! ![]() |

Ok, so yesterday I added some vitamins that I had previously been taking and had slacked off the last few months...one is calcium 500mg, vit A&D, balanced B-100, vit C 1,000 mg with rose hips, and a multivitamin/multimineral with Lutein...
My weight yesterday am was 221.2, today 221.6 +0.4, I expected this to happen just not so soon.... ![]() Vitamin related?? I dunno. |

No change on the scale today but I am looking pretty cute in my new capris I bought last weekend. Of course I have to have my heater going full blast under my desk because I'm freezing.

Just had an idea....how about loading Sept 4 and Sept 5 (Labor Day). This should take us to where we want to be as long as we are able to stabilize now. And by doing another round right after Labor Day that does not affect any of the other upcoming holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas).

Congrats on fitting in the capri's and even if there was no change on the scale you're still losing inches. I am freezing too - as usual!!! I am not wearing capri's but I am able to fit comfortably with a little room to follow in a size 6 pants. YAY US!

Since I am diabetic, I can't do the apples or oranges, so my fruits are down to strawberries and grapefruits, both of which have Vit C. I am on day 7 of my first week (I started on May 14) and show a 6.6 lb. loss so far, including the 0.4 lb gain from the two load days. I am doing the injections because that's the method my doctor follows with his patients. I was terrified of needles, but these really don't hurt! (Big surprise for me!) I am sticking to the Simeons protocol, except I had to eliminate lots of foods (no bread sticks/melba toast because of gluten problems, no apples or oranges because of diabetes, no chicken because of food allergies, no shellfish because I can't find any that are free of contaminants and I have chemical alllergies), but it's working so far. My biggest fear (after being afraid of needles) was that it wouldn't work for me, but so far it seems to be working and today I am feeling okay (the past week was very hard). I am now mentally preparing to go very slow in P3, because I have done the whole route (Weight Watchers 2X, Atkins 2X, Protein Power, Carbohydrate Addict's, protein-sparing fast under a physician) and finally was able to stop GAINING weight, but have not been able to lose any after 8 years on the Schwarzbein regiment (similar to South Beach, the Zone, and Protein Power). I don't think I could stand it if, after all of this hard work, I gained it back. Been there, done that, too many times before. 1 week down, 6 to go! My goal for this round is 32 pounds. I plan on doing a full second round after 6 weeks on P3 and will get to wherever that takes me. I have no plans to go for a third round, and I expect to lose slower the second time around, because everything I've read so far says the less you have to lose, the slower it goes. |

Vit E is one of the fat soluble vitamins, and is usually in some kind of oil. There are "dry" forms available, but I don't know if they would be safe to use on P2. It should be okay on P3.

I found out about the HCG approach through my doctor, whom I originally went to because my diabetes was getting out of control and I wanted someone who really knew how to prescribe natural hormones for my other issues. Two years ago, I married a man much younger than I am and am looking forward to LOOKING and FEELING sexy again! ![]() |
