![]() ![]() ![]() Well, to be honest, since I was big to begin with, I have not really noticed a reduction in cellulite. What I HAVE noticed though, is my neck wattle is significantly smaller. And yes, I had a neck wattle. I was pushing 275 3 months ago, of course I had one! ![]() |

Oh, and as far as the apples and oranges, keep in mind that I am diabetic, so what works for me may not necessarily work for you. BUT. Sticking with strawberries and the cabbage dish is DEFINITELY working for me!

Ok, I have to say I kinda feel like the baby of the bunch...but I ALSO HAVE TO say...none of you ladies look your age!! And NO, I'm not just saying that!! Nobody has ever been able to guess my age...online or IRL... So I agree Lilac and Dawn, it's time for my body to catch up with my face and my attitude!!!
I'll be 31 this year BTW ![]() |

I'm 27, and I was looking older than my true age because of the weight. With the weight loss, I feel that I look my age now. I lose really well in my face/neck/collar bones and upper body. Now I'm trying to lose the rest of my stomach/hips/butt/thighs.
I hope I look as good as y'all in my 40's! ![]() |

I haven't done fruit yet, but I did want a strawberry yesterday. So I made hot water but instead of putting a tea bag in, I put some drops of lemon juice in it and drank that. I liked it very much! (I got the idea from your strawberry/lemon freezy thing you make.) |

Hi 40-dayers!
I turned 50 this year . . . now I get to sound all old and cranky around you young'ns! *waves cane dramatically* I am extra-grouchy because after my great streak of daily losses, yesterday on Day 18 I went UP .5, and today held at the same. I know . . . I know . . . stay the course. But it's not fair! I've been right on protocol, been drinking tons of water and tea, etc. I don't know if it's just a reaction to the Day 17 grissini, or a blip I would have had anyway. But this had better stop!! |

LOL that really made me laugh - I actually have a cane I could wave at you! LOL I need to bling it out with rhinestones or something and turn into the eccentric crazy old lady I feel like sometimes! But now at least I won't be the FAT old lady with a cane! |

OK, rub it in . . . rub it in! . . . .
And, Lilacbruze, I hope I didn't offend with the cane joke -- just meant it in a lighthearted way. Obviously, needing a cane for MS or anything else isn't funny! Congrats on the continued loss -- I came down again, lost that pesky 1/2 pound I was up, and another 1/2 pound. Memorial Day Weekend . . . here I come! Have all kinds of grilling plans, and got my little ol' pieces of chicken and steak all ready! |

![]() VLCD22, am actually UP a pound! But I am retaining water for some reason, I see it in my ankles and feel it in my fingers. The ring that was spinning around loose yesterday is now TIGHT. My diabetes meds cause water retention but honestly, I thought I was over that. I have barely had to go tinkle today, despite having drank about a quart of water so far. Not discouraged, but a little peeved. ![]() |

Thanks! I was super-excited to see the scale this morning!
![]() It's 1:30 p.m. and I'm just about to go prepare my ground meat and cabbage. I cooked 2 lbs. of it this morning and drained it and rinsed it, so I'm good to go for a few days on ground meat. Ooops! That reminds me, I need to pre-cut a head of cabbage and put it in a large ziplock. I hope you lose your extra water today. Maybe try some hot lemon water? People say that helps. |

Do you know that I was chopping up cabbage like a doofus until my husband politely pointed out that my food processor could do it in a fraction of the time? Now I can shred a whole head of cabbage in about 2 minutes start to finish. DUH!
![]() I have drank even MORE water and have not gone to the bathroom. This is ridiculous! But I hope that means that when the dam finally breaks, I'll have a nice whoosh in the morning? |

You know, I have a VitaMix and it could chop it for me, too! ((knocking head))
I'll try it next time. (I just chopped a whole head.) Thank your husband for me!!!! LOL! |

I have a vitamix also - it does cabbage horribly. If you figure it out, let me know. I go between paste or chunks - and adding liquid to get it to work. I LOVE my vitamix, but it definitely doesn't chop veggies and replace that aspect of a food processor, in my opinion. I was hoping it did, but I think I'm going to go ahead and get a salad master manual food processor off ebay.

I have a food processor up on a shelf in the pantry. I never use it anymore, but I'll dust it off and try it on the cabbage. Thanks! (I would have been upset if I'd liquified a head of cabbage! That happened to me with salsa. It made tomato soup. LOL!) |
