May 29th or bust ~~~ P2 ~~~~

Is anyone else striving to be their lowest weight ever by May 29th?

This is going to be extremely hard for me. It is only day 2 and I am so hungry and want junk food so bad! But I will forge on!!!

Who is with me? I'm looking for anyone who is on the same timeline as me so we can move forward together.

18 days left once I fall asleep!
Hoping that I will awaken to a nice loss.

Not quite the lowest ever... but the lowest in 4 years!

I started Sunday because June 2nd is my 4th anniversary (2nd marriage) and I was 128 when we got married. I got pregnant a few months later and can't shake the weight like I did after the 3 other kiddos..

I would really like to be close at least

hmmm that would be AWESOME!!! but i'd have to lose like almost 70 pounds to do that... hcg is good...but i don't think its THAT good.

Me me me me me.
My P2 is planned through the end of the month.
I'm having a rather frustrating time this round, however (see signature for sad, stalled details). But I've also not been eating clean, so it's my fault. But I've also had a lot of hunger, so ??
Just ordered pellets in the hopes that they will do me better than the drops this go-round.
I'm actually at my lowest weight in 14 years right now - 1.8 lbs more and I'll weigh what I weighed when I got married - lower than 157 and I'll start venturing into 25-years-ago weights!

Ha - after my rather irritated post above I drank 2 cups of coffee and went to the bathroom - now I'm at 158. I'll take it. Lowest on this WOE (and practically in my adult life) yet.

I was 128 when I got married too! I even tried on my wedding dress (18 years later) when I reached goal in March and it was snug but it zipped!

Wouldn't it be nice to say you only have 50 lbs to go after May 29th though?
HCG is pretty good... You will be amazed what a 10 or 20 lbs loss will do for your mindset. Good luck to you!

I stayed STRONG! Wanted to go to the grocery store and get the salad bar for lunch since I have to grocery shop anyways but then realized I couldn't have their dressing and drove home instead.

I have to make another trip out today anyways so it is no big deal.

I need to keep the willpower this weekend for dd's bday, and Bunko.

DD wants to go to TGIFridays for her bday and I am already cringing.

So far so good for Day 3, only 18 days to go...

How are you all doing today?

I almost lost it yesterday but stayed strong too. It wasn't pretty. there was crying and the fetal position involved...

but hey...i didn't bend. I only had .6 loss after .1 yesterday so i was praying for a woosh.
I lost way more on induction first week than this...but i'm trying not to justify excuses for changing or quitting.

I am going to almost the end of the month now too! If I can lose some more it will be lowest territory... I remember being 140 in 7th Grade!!!! I am 147 this morning and hoping to be at least to 140 before this round ends.... Lets do it together!~

Oh, I mean, I'm in it 'til then. Just not sure this stubborn body will lose the 15 lbs so I can say I am at the lowest weight I've been in a LONG time!

Still going strong over here! although it is only VLCD 4...ask me in a week.
Only down .4 today but I am not overly worried about it. I own a Body Bugg and know that on inactive days I only burn about 1700-1800 calories, so I really don't expect miracles ...that equals two days of not eating to get close to burning a pound so I guess I am on track... but anything above and beyond is welcome. I will say I am having fun making new foods for dinner and actually hurried home from shopping so I could have my yummy lunch...too bad I love it so much because I am having it every day and might need more variety. Hunger this morning was not nearly as bad as the past couple of days.

Great idea about the wedding dress.... my new goal! I was excited to get into some old clothes, but the wedding dress will really let me know how I am doing since it was tailored for my bodice. This diet really has me looking at my goal and wondering if maybe I should go a little lower. Hmmmm

We are one day closer to May 29th!!!

Another pound gone. It is weird but I have been dropping EXACTLY 1 pound each day. I will take it but that is just weird.

Day 4 and I have a ladies luncheon that I am hosting today so I must go.
It is basically a pizza place but I know they have salad. I'm hoping they have a steak salad and I will bring my own dressing.

Day 5 is Bunco so not sure how I will survive that party
Day 6 is my dd's bday lunch at TGIFridays.

If I can survive these next few days with no cheats, I will shock myself.
Need to stay strong!!! How do others handle these situations on P2?

Wow Donna... that sounds like some tough meals. I dont go out if I can help it, as I cave every time and "feed" that inner child!!! Nicely done on the 1 lb!!! I was only down 0.6 and still not back to Sunday's weight. 0.4 more to be back to that one and then on to new territory.... how tall are you? Whats your weight now? I see the 130 is that where you are now, or where you are headed???

Way to go on the losses

I avoid eating out on P2 it is just too hard for me but I guess if you don't have a choice you can have grilled chicken and salad or a steak with salad hoprfully you will have a choice of either one.

Thanks Marie, I want to be 135!! I do feel amazing though, from 240, almost 100 lbs gone, but getting close!! YOu too, you are rockin it!!

How is everyone else today?
I eat spinach (bare raw leaves, order a bare spinach "salad") and a hamburger or steak grilled with no oils/spices, immediately cut the hamburger or steak in half and put it in a to-go box, squish out the extra fat between some napkins, order mustard and apple cider vinegar on the side, sprinkle stevia on the mustard and apple cider vinegar, and make a faux honey-mustard dressing.....

My other go-to is a chicken caesar salad, no dressing, no croutons, no cheese, just tell them strictly Romaine and chicken strips with no oils....

And then for my other meal of the day I stick to egg whites, 4 of them, in case they do something to my meal I don't know about.

I've had to do this numerous times but places like Shari's and Applebees will follow my directions. I'm sure TGIF's would as well. Just tell them you have to have it that way. Period. Of course be nice and tip well

OH- order lemons wedges to squeeze in your ice water or on your salad if you don't want to mess with the faux honey-mustard dressing....

I'll join. I am in that boat too. My lowest adult weight is 146 lbs (Jan 2011). Currently, I'm 165 lbs. Would love to lose 19 lbs in the remaining 17 days! Oh yeah, on the 27th I'm leaving for a family reunion. How in the world will I stay on P2???

Veggies/fruits are no problem as we can easily find a grocer and neither requires cooking. But trusting restaurants to NOT smother my meat in oil is tough.

I made the chili last night and am looking forward to eating it tonight.
I find that simple works best for me but I do enjoy a new recipe every now and then.
I had the same feeling about goal. I hit goal at 130 but I think I'd like 120 or 125 better. You have to just go with how you feel at that point.

I'm 5 feet tall exactly. I hit my goal of 130 back in March but then went on a cruise and then basically went out of control with fast food. I have been trying to lose the 8 lbs I gained for the past few weeks and then decided to go back to P2. Hoping I can keep everything under control once I reach goal (not sure what that is). I was really happy when I reached 130 five years ago on Atkins when I went from 170-130 but I was at the gym everyday and in great shape. Now at 130 I'm a ball of flab.
I am thinking about trying Pilates again.

I had a crappy salad yesterday and brought my own dressing. I guess a pizza place isn't the place to go for salad.

WOW Cathy! 147 is my goal weight (at least for now) and you must feel amazing. I know you've had some stalls etc, but girl, look at you!

Thanks!!! I will take all that advice! Now DD informs me she wants to go to Golden Corral. That would just be too much temptation for me.

I need to go make raspberry bars for Bunco tonight and I'm bringing in Strawberry Shortcake for my dd's bday to school. I wish lunch would come sooner rather that later. I already ate my apple and it is only 10:30am.

Well it sounds like you mostly stayed in control then, only 8 lbs to regain your goal, not too bad!!! I did not stop exercising... I am still running and doing Turbo kickboxing. I just feel better when I do it!!

0.4 is a nice respectable loss! I was down 1.2 today, but still some of those were recycled from my mother's days blip...but on to new territory!!

Day 6 and hit a little road block last night. I did lose .2 this morning but wondering if tomorrow won't be so nice. At Bunco last night, she served a whole meal of lasagna, salad, bread and dessert. I don't like pasta so that was no big deal but I forgot my WF salad dressing so just had the low fat one. Of course the hostess knows I don't like pasta and went overboard trying to find me something to eat. I told her I was perfectly happy with salad. I had brought some strawberry shortcake for dessert so I did have some strawberries too. I was quite content until all 8 desserts were uncovered!!!! The brownies with the extra thick chocolate frosting put me over the edge and I had a half of one and I did have 1 rum ball. Everyone was drinking wine. I think they went through at least 10 bottles but I stayed away and it was SOOOO hard.
Today was even harder at TGIFridays but got a steak and salad and hope it wasn't laden with fat but it did taste delicious so I'm sure it was.
Tonight DD wants to go to McDonalds so it will be another salad. She really wants to go to Golden Corral tomorrow too but maybe I can talk her into a super duper egg surprise at home instead.

I'm thinking now I should have waited to start P2 but I will chalk this up to an interruption and forge on. I wouldn't be down 5 lbs right now if I hadn't started on Monday.

Sooooo.......... where is everyone and how you doing?

Donna, how did you make your strawberry shortcake, the shortcake part? Did you use egg whites like meringue? or something else? Curious!

Looks like you did the best you could with what you had available. Hopefully you won't show too much of a gain or a stall. You never know. Drink TONS Of water today/tomorrow and keep right on truckin'....
