Actually, when I typed my last entry here, it was 4 something in the morning, I went back to bed for 2 hours and when I woke up I weighed .8lb less! So I DID have a mini-whoosh FINALLY! 1.6 lbs! Yay!
WOOT WOOT!!! I wouldn't call that a mini-whoosh, that's a nice big whoosh!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO~~~

I know, right? I guess all in all, I've lost 6.8lbs post loading and am on VLCD7, TOM is winding down and I am looking forward to another whoosh FINALLY!

Yes Gracie you are right, not a mini... what am I thinking?

I have 11 lbs to go before I reach my lowest weight since 2002. I have 4 boxes of size 18 clothes in the attic - most of them summer clothing - that I can't wait to get into! I have donated all my clothing size 22 and up (had them in ranges from 22 to 28 - eek!) because as God as my witness, I will never be those sizes again!

Girl, you are averaging 0.97 #/day which is fantastic!!! I would usually average a 19-20# loss per round including the load weight. So, probably a net loss of 15-17#.

Send a little of that faith my way, please? P2 is wearing on me! And the whoosh fairy wouldn't go amiss around here either!

I'm down .6 but Bernice hasn't paid me a visit yet.

I was pretty active yesterday, working in the garden. I was kinda hoping for more but I'll take it!

I will say this - when I started Atkins Induction back in March, 4 weeks in with NO cheating, I had only lost 10 lbs. So far, with 8 days of hcg and VLCD, I am down 4.4 lbs pre-loading and 8 lbs post-loading. So I am definitely experiencing better results on hcg, with the added bonus of GREAT and FABULOUS blood sugar readings. This morning it was 106, an all time fasting low for me!

Frustrated

Frustrated this morning with a 1 lb gain
Following really carefully and didn't expect this.
I'm on day 20 and down a total of 9.6
Should I continue or go to P3
Would a reload day be appropriate?
I see a lot of options and need to choose the best one for me.
Advice appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear that. Is TOM a factor? Have you been drinking enough water?

I'm down exactly 1.0 lbs today. At first I was distressed because I woke up early and weighed myself and saw I was UP .2 but then I went to the bathroom a few times and WHOOSH!

No TOM, post menopausal for many years.
Drank lots and lots of water especially yesterday.
I did better when I ate at the all you can eat buffets (2 of them) on Mother's Day. I focused on protein foods not carbs but still was off program and there was some rice with that sushi LOL
Perhaps I need more protein? Should I do a reload day as I'm on day 20.
Some people indicated they make better progress if they take a day to do that.
Anyone here try that?

You might be better off posting a new thread to get more views and input.

I follow pretty strict protocol so I don't suggest a reload day - an interrupt option would be possible, after a couple more days. If you did an interrupt after 48 or 72 hours off hcg while continuing VLCD, then moving to P3 for a few days, you could sort of reload on fats/proteins and then jump back onto dosing and VLCD and see if that serves to speed things up.

However, your progress is pretty good. I wouldn't get discouraged.

You should go for the min. of 21 vlcd before you move into P3. You have lost an average of .48 pounds per day so that is still good for weightloss.

Our bodies don't always do what we want them too, I would finish P2 for the full round then decide if you want to move into P3 at that time.
