That's how I felt after I took that interuption for the chest infection. It seemed to take forever for the bloat to go away even tho it was only 3 pounds?!

Hang in there, we will both make it past this

Loved the bikini pics... I did have to giggle at the short tan lines... I have those too. I WILL wear a bikini this summer, but the first few times I step out with a bare belly people better be wearing sunglasses. I really want to go bathing suit shopping but I must wait because doing that right now would have me huddling in a corner crying. Funny that this weight loss would have normally taken me at least a month, yet I get impatient because I have only lost 5 pounds in 4 days.

I got down to 119 a few years ago and that put me in a size 4... that was nice. I think I would like to aim for 120-125 because my hubby does like a little cush on the tush. As long as I can play between 123 and 128 I will be very very happy with myself.

I'm so happy to have found this forum! It's so nice to find a friendly, supportive place.

I am on my third round of this protocol, but extending this round (off protocol) because I'm hoping to lose an additional five pounds to get to my "goal" weight of 125 lbs. I've been around 130 pounds for the past three days, so I'm hoping this stall breaks soon.

And I'm not even sure 125 lbs is the goal. I'm looking at these saddlebag thighs and wondering if 5 lbs will be enough!

I've been reading through a lot of posts--you are all an inspiration!

been munching on bacon here and there...don't have any real snack type stuff in the house....so I mixed some strawberry pie filling with coolwhip.....I feel sick again. But it tasted so yummy!! Anything with coolwhip on it...MMMMMMMMMM Dinner tonite will be Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas, heavy cheese and extra sour cream on mine! I'm going to make extra so I can eat leftovers tomorrow, I love enchiladas, hot, cold, warm...doesn't matter to me. I make them with chicken thigh meat so they should be pretty high in fat.

Shelby - While you might have had a wonky round, it sure sounded like a successful one!
I'll be there in just a few days, TM! Come ON, P3!!! It has been successful, I just keep wondering if it could have been MORE successful! And yes, I do like to torture myself...

I forgot to say that I have 4 children. And I have had 4 c-sections. So I know my tummy has that excess skin on it and I never thought I would wear a bikini either but I wanted to be the hot 40 year old. I got down to 115 and was thrilled. I shot up in weight because of my family's health crisises (first my DD got type 1 diabetes about a month ago and it has been he** since ) as of late. Thankfully I haven't put all my weight back on, but if I were to stop where I am now half my clothing won't fit. I bought a few bikini pieces for $1 at close out last year--can you believe it??!! $1 for a bikini top?? And $1 for a bottom??!!! They are super cute too!!! So I am soldiering on once again to 115. I still wasn't in a size 4 because of my tummy from the c-sections. I know that my body loves 120 better so I will settle for a 5 pound window. But anything above 120 and I start to freak out. Just goes to show you that even though some of us are the same height we are different shapes.

Oh, and for the shorts lines...I think this year I have to start sitting out in my bathing suit so that won't happen. I could not believe those pics when I first saw them...talk about a farmer's tan

Dawn, I would never have guessed you had four children! You look very young! I'm sorry to hear of your daughter's recent diagnosis of diabetes--that has to be incredibly difficult. My heart goes out to you. I give you a lot of credit for holding it together and forging ahead. I hope your daughter does well and I wish you the best!

Thanks!! I had a really bad month of March because it only began with DD. It ballooned into DH's aunt (her DH passed away in Oct of 2010 so we are her sole caregivers) being in the hospital for 9 days after DD got discharged after 4 days. Then my DS#2 was in the urgent care for stomach pains--we thought it maybe appendix, but it turned out to be just a 24 hour bug. Then my stepdad ended up in the ER with gallstones. He has colon cancer and they cannot take his gall bladder out. He had radiation on his liver and couldn't tell if that was causing the pain. It was one hellacious nightmare and it was brutal on me. I don't do stress and just fell face first into bags and bags of chocolate. I am surprised I didn't gain more weight. Anyway, we are all doing much better and the only place to go is forward. We have our acts together for DD and she is handling this quite well. Hope your round goes well too I know you can make your goal!!

I am down 2. more pounds, so only 2.8 more to undo my overindulgence of P3 food while on interrupt. I am hopeful to blast through to beyond where I was at least by next week. I am on re-start day #4 now, so in 3 days of VLC I've gone down 6 pounds. Lots of it was water, now the work starts I think.

Peggy! I'm wishing I was in P3 with you, but I gotta undo this mess for myself

Charms! Way to get started again! Woosh!

Shelby, hang in there! you're doing FanTAStic!

And the rest of you, talking about turning 40 or being close to 40 - you all make me feel OLD. I'm gonna be 50 next January!

Aw, that isn't good that you feel it seated too. I don't know what correct type of potassium there is to take. I just got some at the health food store and made sure there wasn't any added sugar or starch in it. What are the mg on them? If they are only 99 like mine, you'll want to take more than one.

Here I come tomorrow!!!!!! I'm nervous but so so so excited and happy. Oh I just looked at your stats. That is fantastic for 5'8". I'm a smidge over so I dunno if I should say I'm 5'9" or 5'8" but I'd be stoked to be in the 160s, let alone the 150s!
Thank you TwinMama I'm much better today!
BTW I have a small frame and I guess I'll see which weight the hhcg takes me to.

Had a crazy day--got up early---didn't weigh because---did I mention I got up early?--went to an interview--got offered a job!--ended up not coming home till dinner time--didn't eat enough--got 2 doses of drops in so far---afraid to weigh in the morning--going back again tomorrow ---way earlier than my night time schedule--I'm afraid of what the scale will say so early at 7 AM --not gonna freak--I'm working again !!!

Sorry for the horrid run-on sentence, I'm tired.

Tomorrow is another day.

Congrats to the losers and P3 candidates

for anyone struggling.

I survived yesterday!! I really think that while I believed I was physically hungry that it was still head hunger as I got busy doing things and I didn't even realize I missed lunch until 2:00 PM!! I am down 0.9 lbs this morning and when I entered my weight in ****** I realized that I am no longer in the "extreme obesity" category. I am now merely "obese" and I will do my best in my future rounds to reach, "overweight" and then "Normal". I can do this! I know I can. On to P3 tomorrow...
