Makes me think I should've at least gotten some pot stickers out of the deal if I was going to gain 8.4 pounds plus not lose after VLCD1? (which is really like, day 24 if you count prior to restart).

Advice? Comments?

I did take flexiril which I know makes me hold onto water, I haven't had a visit from Berniece in awhile, but still - NO loss? in fact a gain? I could've done a steak day and lost or a Greek Yogurt day and lost....

What would you do? Shelby, Cathy, Peggy? any others?
C'Marie, I am in agreement with Dawn, I would surely not give up, just plow through. Its kinda the price we pay for going off protocol, yanno?? I am sure it will resume in a few days and you will be roaring along again! Just gotta take the lumps!

Just make it 7 oz steak and a tomato and that counts as being on plan. You say you took meds which make you retain water so that is what it is--just water. It will flush out soon enough.
I weighed again.... after a visit from Berniece and was down 1 pound.... scale malfunction, in the previous weight, maybe? I dunno - but at least a step in the right direction. Trust me, even us vets have our moments! At least I do - and this is the only place I can vent them

Is it crazy if I put on my daughter's perfume because I miss her?!

The plan always was to plow through - just wondering if I should re-load or not? But I will just do another VLCday and see what happens tomorrow. I didn't *really* go off-protocol - was an interrupt, although in retrospect I certainly shouldn't have gone off as long as I did and I would definitely do a steak day next time if I go up like that - lesson learned. Just too much going on between daughter's college graduation, birthday, family coming in from out of town, and seeing her off on her trip. Seems to be 8 or so pounds is what happens when I am stressed, no sleep, and eating lots on P3 + alcohol....

Thanks for your thoughts, everyone! Pass the water!!!

C'Marie - Hang in there, it'll come off!! Glad you have some good advice on her but yeah, you're an expert yourself! Aw, how sweet about you putting on your daughter's perfume to have her lingering around with you. She'll be back soon! Woo Hoo for being down a pound now though!!!!

Cathy - I hope your tummy calms down and you lose more tomorrow.

Shelby - Oh no, how discouraging. It's just water, it will come off in a whoosh. I know, it blows me away how you can follow strict protocol and have a gain. I experience it myself and you were there to tell me it's normal and happens.

I had my last injection yesterday morning and was down 0.8 today. That is some cushion for P3. I was reading and reading what all I can eat. I need to go slow though huh? I would love some thing "breadlike" or "sweet." Anyone want to share a fave recipe? :P

Bingo, I so agree. So that 8.4 lbs could have easily been 10 to come off. The good news about gains on an interruption is that they fly off once you are back on P2.

Hi folks!

Glad to see so many familiar faces here. Reading that I'm not the only one having weird days is helpful.

I've been having a crazy round and feeling sorry for myself. Still losing tho slowly.

I am stubborn so I refuse to give up and hope that when my period (AGAIN!) passes it will take some water weight and a few pounds with it!

Sweetie

You were not the only one with a slip up this weekend. I won't even go into details, but suffice it to say that I treated myself well at our Mother's Day lunch on Sat. Yummy and soo delicious and it won't happen again! There is no going back. I didn't weigh myself this weekend, but know that I am now down to below what I was on Sat morning because I did weigh this morning. It may take a day or so to get back down, but it will get back down.

VLCD3 and down 1.4. The load weight is gone thank heavens!
I'm still 2 pounds above my R1LDW.

Had some horrid hunger pangs during the night into the wee hours--I don't remember these in R1 Didn't sleep well. I need to really force myself to go to bed earlier than 11 or 12 pm....

I'm hanging in there, though!

Everyone have a great day.

Thanks ladies, trying to be positive. I was on a roll (for me that is, since I am a slow loser) and I hate it when I sabatoge myself, but I picked my butt up and kept moving! I am crossing all fingers and toes that I will be at least back tomorrow, thinking of being lower is just probably asking for too much! LOL, since I am still 2 lbs up and on day 18!!! LOL Thanks for rooting me on though and Charms you are right, if we were perfect we would not be on this forum trying to get thin!!!

I did an interruption(was very bad) this last weekend and weighed in 3.5 lbs up this morning. Oh well, back on track today and I already feel tons better. I just don't enjoy feeling full anymore and nothing tastes as good as I remember. I'm hoping I can get these pounds off plus 6 more in the next two weeks and then move into P3 and then P4 for summer.

Goodmorning Well my dizzyness have gone away for now so Im happy, why it lingered was probably because my system ha to get used to my LC high fat stuff again. Weight is doing good, fluktuating .1-.2 up and down like clockwork. Only thing that peed me off is that I cant keep losing weight but I will stick to protocol as intended

I'm happy to report that I am down 6.2lbs as of this morning!!! I loaded last Saturday and Sunday and I am amazed at how well I am doing! Hcg definitely works for me..... I know I won't continue to lose at this rate but I am very motivated to continue. I would like to lose about 30lbs. total but will be happy with 20!

Morning all This morning for me, the scale was showing 0.8 down. At least it's moving in the right direction again! After two days of ups, I was ready to call it on VLCD30 but this keeps me motivated to still try and see that number that I was shooting for originally (150). I've got another 9 days to go (7 plus the 2 no-drop days) and I think I could possibly do it. This kind of fluctuation is typical for me when I mess up my meds so I am hoping to see some good losses in the next couple of days.

Have a great hump day everyone!

Nice Shelby! Glad it moved in the right direction again!!

I am down 1 lb again, and still 1 lb up from my "mother's day goof up". I have wasted this whole week. UGH! I will have to continue for at least another week now too, just to make up. If I am lucky enough to drop another full lb tomorrow, I will just be where I was on Sunday! I will not do it again No no no

Good job on the losses!

Nice drops Shelby and Cathy!

So it will be 72 hours tomorrow morning so I will officially be in P3. Technically can I have 2 eggs this morning? When I was reading that, it was a little confusing for me.

I'm down - 3.6 total of the 8.4 rebound weight gain from my interrupt - I started shedding water yesterday, I could tell - my rings were spinning around my fingers again. I think I lost 1 pound the first day and 2.6 at today's weigh in. Only 4.8 to go back to my all-time low (166) at 101 pounds lost. Woo Hoo! Had my 3rd shot today so the hcg should be actually starting to work now. That'll be nice

VLCD4 I'm down another 1.2 @ 147.4--can't complain!

Feeling dizzy seated or standing, what a horrid feeling. Took some potassium but am not sure if it's the correct type.

Thanks! from your mouth to God's ear! LOL

come on whoosh fairy! I'd love for these next 20+ or so days to get me down those 4.8 plus another 5-ish so a total of 10 - that would get me down to 161...... and a total loss of 106. crossing fingers and toes!!!!
