I love cabbage, raw, partially cooked, over cooked, doesn't matter. Maybe try some hot sauce in your cabbage and break up a hamburger patty in it. Just do one serving though, in case you don't like it.

Or you could chop the cabbage up really tiny, add some liquid aminos and some chicken and have a take off on chinese chicken fried "rice".

Well guys, I think I'm cutting this round a little short and going to p3 on Wednesday. My body is telling me to take a break, so I will for 6 weeks. See you in P3 chat soon.

You could use an immersion blender or a regular blender in your cabbage with a little liquid, add your protein and pretend it's a cream soup.

Cream of cabbage soup--yum!

Awesome!!

I am down 1.2 today! Yay for me! I might get under 210 before the 21 days are up. I put on a pair of capri's this morning that were tight last summer and they were almost loose! I have no idea what I weighed last summer. I could not confront getting on the scale as I knew I was packing on the pounds. I probably haven't been under 210 in about 2 and 1/2 years so that's a good milestone.

Hi, I am a newbie and a former Medifaster. I started MF @ 250 lbs (size 18) and now I am a 160 lbs (size 7/8). My final goal is 130 lbs. So, I chose the HCG path because it is more economical for losing the last 30 lbs.

My drops arrived today for the start of R1. I am so excited. I have already prepared a 64 oz jug of green tea for my morning breakfast. For my LDs, I have some good fats lined up (sausage, steak, etc.). I read to concentrate mostly on fats over other nutrients. I hope to find plenty of support in the HCG threads. I will be sure to post how my 1st day goes!

One question though, I sweetened the tea with Truvia (stevia). However, Truvia has 3g of carbs per packet while Wal-Mart's Great Value no-calorie sweetener has 0 carbs. Can I just stick with the GV brand or does it HAVE TO BE stevia-based sweeteners?

There are many sugar alcohols and most of them are no good, but erythritol is the only one that causes no blood sugar spike (Truvia is 99% erythritol by volume) so I can't imagine why it would be no good on HCG. With that being said, I have no first hand experience. Why don't you test it out for us?

I am *really* not into this P2 and the fact that I have only lost a total of 0.7 lbs this week with all the ups and downs on the scale. I am *so* tempted to call it a round and make yesterday my Last Injection weight and either move into P3 or make it an interruption for a week and come back and do one more week or so. What to do...what to do.....

I HEAR you.
I lost 8 my first week....and 1.2 this week. Same same same.
But I know a lot of it is my fault. I had about 3 days this week that I ate probably 1000-1500 calories. Good foods, but too much good foods.
And I don't want to be so fat for summer!
So I'm going to SUCK IT UP and finish out my last 2 weeks the way it's supposed to be done. 149 or bust...or at least somewhere below 158!

You know...if I had done that...then no problem. I would own it and move on. I am staying on protocol though so this is a puzzle...a frustrating puzzle (altho Bernice has been MIA for ages it seems). The only thing I can think of is that this is a set point that I was at for a while in my past and it is not giving up without a fight. I have two more injections left in my round. Today and tomorrow and I will be doing them. I am sticking to this regardless of the scale. I want to reset my hypothalamus and then take a really good break from P2 and come back in July for another round. I just needed to vent. I just wanted to lose another 1.5 lbs to hit a mini goal. No worries...I will blow past it next round!!

I didn't eat any of the grissini breadsticks yesterday. Would that make a difference? I figured I would lose better without it?

Om...om...om... <- That's me trying to be zen about the rest of this P2. UP again today despite being on strict protocol. That's 1.4 in two days in the wrong dang direction! It's making sticking to this P2 a bear, so I completely hear you, Peggy, on that! At this rate I won't be seeing 155 this round, much less 150! ARRRRRGGGGHHHH. Ok, whew, back to zenning... om...om...om...
