BIG CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!!

Had to leave my home early this morning, reassuring myself that I would be back by lunch--but nooooooo....

So no weighing today--it would have been 3 or 4 hours earlier than normal and I just couldn't take it! :blush:

So, I had a good reason--I went for an interview and I got a job! I was asked if I could stay and fill out paper work, etc., and ended up staying all day--and I wasn't even hungry! I took my drops before I left and took my second dose when I walked in the door around 5:15 pm. I'll take my third dose before bed.

I didn't get all my protein in but I think I'll be okay! Should I eat more this evening? I missed the first meal portion.

Now, I go back to work in the morning and will be going from a sort of second shift sleeping schedule to a day shift schedule

I'll be needing to weigh hours before than normal--how long till my body gets used to this change on the scale? Not looking forward to that but I'm happy to be back working.

Any advice would be

Tough day at an all day work convention literally surrounded by food all day - but I'll be done in 3 more hours..

Vlcd4 and down 1.2 this morning. I hope I will still lose tomorrow as it will be my 2nd day of not enough sleep...we shall see

Down .6 today. I took the last dose of the drops I bought this morning at 7am so by the time I wake up on Saturday morning I will be in P3. I hope I will have good losses tomorrow and Saturday morning so this extended P2 will have been worth it but even if I don't I am ready to call an end to P2. My interruption last weekend was so wonderful that I'm wondering what I was even thinking to come back to P2.

Congratulations on your new job! I think once your body can get in a pattern of going to sleep earlier you will be fine.

Oh no, just 1 melba for the whole day Thanks for that advice. I started to get it already cooked tonight, but it was already seasoned and I didn't know if it was marinated with something I could not see. Didn't have time to ask the clerk.

Thanks, Darlin'! I sure hope so. I take an OTC sleep medication as it is. I'm sort of like a baby that has its days and nights mixed up. :blush:

Last day of P2 for me and I am ready for a P3 bfast tomorrow. I am sooooooo over this P2!! I did well tho and I am so glad I stuck it out. Don't let *anyone* tell you that this is an "easy" way out to lose weight. It works, but your head has to be in it. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!

Now how did I miss this news????!! Congratulations girl. I work one day a week where I get up super early and those days I just don't weigh because I know I won't be at my lowest. But for me, it is just on that one morning. For you, if it becomes your new normal for weigh in time you will have to get used to it. Do not worry, it won't be that much of a change and you are only on VLCD#6 so still early enough in the game where you will lose some major weight. Congrats again!!!

QUICK QUESTION! I just got a call from a friend needing me to teach her Zumba class this morning...that burns almost 1000 calories. Will I blow my day if I do this? Or will I just need to up my calories for today? Make it balance out a bit?? PLEASE HELP!

Dawn should I have eaten my missed protein last night? I did not and I think I paid for it. Was awakened at 2:45 am with gnawing hungerkept me mostly awake since. I took another dose and it did nothing. *sigh* After yesterday w/o hunger I don't get this.

I am happy to report the Mother's Day weight is finally gone!! and it took a little with it. I was down 1.2 this morning to 145.2!!

And even more exciting news!! 20 days until Jamaica baby, Montego Bay here I come on June 2nd!! Finished and paid yesterday (I am impatient, so last minute trips for me, dont like to wait too long to go)... so I have 2 weeks or so to get through the rest of this P2 and by the grace of god, be down 10 pounds and at goal??? I have lost 10 in 19 VLCD days... not sure I can do 10 in 14 days... but boy, I would be a happy girl. I could go a few extra days in P2, but not much so I am firmly out of P2 before I go! Feeling good this morning.

Had I not fudged all of last week, I would surely have made it! I will just pray for more swooshing too!!

What time would it have been? If I eat too late I don't lose--even on the hcg. I am talking after 8PM or so. When I did work the closing shift at Starbucks I would have to ensure that I ate around 6 or 7 because if I ate after my shift (8:30PM or later) I would not lose the next day. No matter what I ate. But that happens to me when I am not on hcg too. How do you do with late night eating? I am sorry you had that hunger---did you try water? I am guessing no since you had a dose of the Hhcg. I would have tried a glass of water first.

Another solution when you find you are in those situations, you can double up on your protein (make sure you have the same kind) in the meal. Kind of like a mini-steak day where you eat nothing all day and then a 7 oz portion of steak and a tomato. I know of someone who has to eat like this to lose anything in P2. She doesn't use just the steak, she does this with any of her protein-- chicken or fish.

CAT- we are going to Jamaica in October. we went to Couples Negril last year and loved it so much we are going back again with 8 other couples(friends 40th birthday)

It would have been long before 8. I didn't even think to double my dinner portion I certainly could have except I was no the slightest bi hungry at that time. I did drink water to no avail. That's why I finally took another dose--which did nothing. Can you figure out why that is?
I doubt this will arise again and shame on me for not knowing what to do I will double my meat in the future if need be.
Took my morning dose and STILL have the bad hunger pains.
Bad timing since I have to go to my new job after a night like this.

Gonna weigh in a few minutes and will update before I go out the door

Down another 1.5 so .5 under my LDW from last week. Hoping for some good losses this next week. I definitely learned my lesson with cheating, I put myself back 1 whole week. It was so not worth it.
