Is Hunger the Price for Huge Losses?

I've posted enough that maybe some of you kinda know how I did in R1 - but I will re-tell for those who don't.

Round 1 Loading days - I LOST 1 lb!

I had HUGE losses, 22 lbs in 14 days!

But I started making cocoa crack my last week, which I believe derailed my great losses - losing only 2 lbs the last week.

I had to immediately do a CD on day 2 (or 3?) of P3, but I beleive it was because I still had the hormone in my system and eating too much too soon.

I lost 4 lbs during the first week of P3, did an "UP" correction day, then lost the same 4 lbs during the 2nd week, and decided to go with it.

I had to drop out of P3 early, and did a week of P4 because of severe weather and no power. I stabilized firmly at my LDW of 237, even eating sugar and carbs on week 3 of P3(4). - and I'm talkin' eating a WHOLE pizza and Easter chocolate with NO GAIN!

I had a rocking Round 1! But I was hungry EVERY DAY! I will admit that the hunger got more bearable during week 3, as I added extra protein in the am, potassium supplements, and Shiritaki noodles to bulk up my diet and feel fuller. However, my weight loss also screeched to a halt during week 3 (poss because the confessed cocoa crack).

This is only Day 2 of Round 2, and while my hunger is there, it is about on the levels of my last round, week 3.

I have high hopes for this round - did not loose on 2 loading days, but did not gain, either- and I loaded well. Today is day 2 of VLC and I lost 2.8 lbs last night! Looks to be on track for another great round. I DO have hunger, though not as bad as last time. I'm not afraid of it, or freaking out like I did in R1, but it would be geat not to have hunger as some have reported.

I am wondering about everyone else, how quick were your losses, and if they were HUGE, did you or did you not have hunger? I understand that I had a great, great, great round on HCG! But is the price for huge losses high hunger? Others of you report that you do not experience hunger - I am wondering how much and how fast you lost or are losing? Is there a correlation?

Note: I have tried to adjust my pellets both up and (this round) down. I am taking 3 Intermountain pellets 3 X day. I eat both Rogue and protocol, depending on the day (usually rogue when I am at home and not working, where I can get myself into trouble!).

Hi, I love your new picture, it's beautiful.

I lost 40 in 44 days and had absolutely no hunger. I'm sure you'll do great this round too. I also enjoyed my crack in P2, but I left out the CO and used DaVincis Coconut SF Syrup and a little water instead. Might want to give it a try!

Best of luck!

hi

I am only on my first round.. but I figured I would chime in...

I am on VLCD 18 and I am down 15lbs. I know I would have done better if I would have resisted the evil choc Easter bunny that appeared on my Kitchen table Easter morning.. but I had to put him in the trash and get him out of my house.

I have had hunger the whole time.. the first week I was starving, since then, I am hungry, but not as bad. But for the continued weight loss, I can deal with it.

Thank you, it was taken at Glenfinnan, in Scotland.

Ooohhh!!! Cocoa crack w/o the guilt! I've got to find a local store thay sells DaVinchis! I'm going to try that, thanks!

Very encouraging about your wonderful weight loss w/o hunger! Hopefully I will have a better round, this time (hunger wise).

Your losses rock, as well! OK, I am encouraged, both that others are losing weight very quickly, even if it is both with and without hunger! NO HUNGER!! I'm trying to mentally reinforce myself here!

Thanks for the input!

I'm in my second round and I have been hungry doing this, but mostly the hunger is in week 1 and largely on days when I exercise or work outside. By the end of week 2 (where I am now) I'm hardly hungry at all.
I have not been *starving* hungry, however. Just hungry. When not doing this WOE, however, I never let myself get hungry - I think that's the difference. It's an uncomfortable feeling because I hardly ever feel it.

It is a very dangerous chocolate candy made by using coconut oil, stevia, and cocoa. Be very cautious in P2!! Some say it doen't hurt their weight loss, but coconut oil is a fat, albeit one that metabolizes different than other fats. I'm a terrible chocoholic, and so MUST HAVE CHOCOLATE every day, in one form or another.

I am going to try the cocoa crack using the DaVincci's syrup! Hope it tastes great!

I did make my own Jello, using gelatin, food flavoring (cherry) and stevia, which is the sweetner allowed for HCG. It was only 10 cals per 1/2 cup, so just enough to give me something to snack on and satisfy my sweet tooth (I also made chocolate Jello- or pudding, so about 15 cals per serving).

I played around all day with glucomannan and Xanthan gum, trying to make completely calorie free jello/pudding, but did not like the texture of these thickeners when you use only flavorings, water, stevia and them. The gelatin is a reasonable compromise.

I can't tolerate CO or I'd have tried that cocoa crack ages ago. Glad you all can enjoy it!

I am so sorry for you ladies who are experiencing hunger! If that were me, I'd have given up on this long ago. I thought pellets were better than the drops for controlling hunger? I take Vox brand pellets and have never had a problem with hunger. I eat an average of 700 calories per day and I'm rogue (I follow a plan similar to the OWL hcg program.)

Do you have a surplus of those Intermountain pellets? If not, why don't you try the Vox brand and see it they work better for you? I take what is directed on the bottle; 4 pellets 3x/day. I take them on schedule (I set alarms) at 09, 15 and 21.

I really hope you feel better soon!

Nice to hear from you Pendragginp. (tell me about your handle)

My mom use to say that to describe being really really hungry!

Hey, Allmost never look at the date of posts......I did get a response just not from Losinitnow. I posted this cause I was doing a search and it popped up. I'm doing a round of HCG with help from Weight Loss Apocalypse and it's been one of my best and in some ways my easiest and wanted to discuss hunger, real and phantom with ppl.
