Yeah, so don't follow my "psuedo" egg day plan....doesn't work! (Just in case you were wondering. Ha!) Still 149 this morning, but the scale REALLY wanted to move up. So, I have been "enjoying" a very strict egg day today, b/c I didn't have any GY. (I bought some after work today just in case!) The only thing I added to my eggs at dinner was a tiny bit of ham and swiss, plus a bit of left over roasted broccoli and asparagus. I don't think those will hurt me.
Lookin forward to tomorrow! Julie, I would LOVE to see a whoosh like you did this morning! I will also have some ACV tonight, and see if that helps things, too. I'll check in tomorrow. Too much grading tonight! Kay

Sorry the modified egg day didn't do the trick. I say go for the Greek Yogurt day next. I consistently drop 3 pounds when I do that. Yesterday, I did a modified GY day (2 protein shakes , 2 8oz. yogurts/berries) and dropped 3.2 pounds.
The bummer is that the stomach virus that has been circulating through my little ones finally caught up to me and I'm sick today. So I was planning on doing a clean P3 day, but I have no idea what to eat now. The thought of food is making me ill. I hope I won't gain back because of the low calories today! |

Whoa -- I am .4 out of my window....
and I do deserve it. I ate a lot yesterday. I made a BIG chicken salad with chicken breast, sf sweet pickles, onion and lots of mayo way too late last night and ate the whole darn thing. Today I have got to take it easy.I still need to go to P2 next week, however, I am having a tough time mentally. I do not want to stop my work-outs. I do Yoga on Monday and Wednesday, Power Pilates on Tuesday and Thursday, ZUMBA on Wednesday and Friday and water aerobics on Saturday. In P2 about the only thing I have energy for is water aerobics. Any suggestions?

Hi all, it's my first day of p3, stopped for a sugar free vanilla latte with cream and I'm praying that it's actually sugar free lol. Started breakfast a wee bit early, 2 hours shy, hope I don't regret it, but if I do I know what to do.
How is everyone? Looks like you're all doing well! Have a great day. |

I can move to P4 today but I think I will take it really easy as my weight is still 4 pounds over my window but I will most likely add some things in on the weekend.
I ate more fat yesterday plus had some cocoa almonds I was down .2 today so I will continue to eat more fat and some different nuts to see if things continue downward. |

Way too much time on my hands!

Hi all
Took me awhile to find the P3 thread. I'm doing pretty well. P3D8. I crept up about a pound, then this morning saw a .6 jump to put me 1.8 lbs above LDW. I fought the pita bread and the pita bread won. Today I had good P3 foods. Lunch was salad with real ranch and some roast beef. Dinner was sausages and green beans in the oven with olive oil and sea salt, with sliced tomatoes. Hopefully I won't need a correction day, but I'm all set if I need one. I've never done one before!

Yippee P3, I am in heaven! Fried eggs in butter, sausage and cocoa almonds. Life is good.
Today I went shopping and fit into size 8 pants and size medium shirts. I am 5'8 so even at my skinniest I was never a tiny size. Still could not believe I fit into size 8. So happy. Son's graduation from college on Saturday, lots of different graduation parties for him and friends of his, family reunion in June and cruise in June and feeling so much better about going to all these places with my new body. Everyone out there still dieting, keep it up, it is so worth it! ![]() |

Following my "strict" correction day yesterday worked...I'm down to 147, still on the top end of my window, but at least I'm in it!
Ate very clean P3 foods: Breakfast: GY (1/2 2% Fage, 1/2 full fat Voskos) Plus 3/4 C fresh berries Snack: Apple + 1oz almonds Lunch: Salad w/ chicken, tomato, mozzarella and Goddess dressing 1/4 C GY and 1 C mixed berries Snack: 1/4 GY and 1/2 oz almonds Dinner: Salad Bar at Jason's Deli w/ P3 veggies and hard boiled egg w/ Ranch. It came out to a little over 1800 calories...more fat than anything, but it seems heavy on the carbs--at least ****** says I consumed more carbs than protein. (But they were natural carbs, no starches/sugar). Anyway, who knows. Oddly, I'm feeling rather hungry at 8pm, and I'm wondering if it is due to the lower protein amounts? Here's a P3 into P4 question....Simeon says very little about what to do AFTER P3. Just that we are to gradually add starches and sugars back into our diet after three weeks w/o those items. But I guess I feel perplexed and a bit nervous about just WHAT to eat. I realize that the "high fat" low carb thing is perfect for P3 b/c of its purpose. But what is an ideal nutritional balance for P4? I just can't wrap my head around the idea that eating THIS much fat--skin from chicken, full fat (20g per serving!) Greek Yogurt, full fat dressings--is actually GOOD for you. WHAT IS A GOOD, HEALTHY, MAINTENANCE FOR LIFE DIET? Hmmm....maybe I'll start a thread topic on this one to see what others are thinking....! |

Morning -
I agree with catkin --- low carb, high fat, medium protein for LIFE! I lost a my pig out weight - back to LDW. Right on as a matter of fact. Would like to get to the low end before going back to P2. Guess we shall see what the rest of the week brings cuz I am pretty hungry today. |

I am down 1 pound from yesterday but still 5 pounds above ldw it seems like I am still bouncing around alot.
This is my menu from yesterday: B protein shake/raspberries/cream, coffee/cream S full fat greek yogurt/raspberries L roasted chicken/celery/dip/piece of swiss cheese/V8 juice S full fat greek yogurt/raspberries, some cocoa almonds D 2 eggs fried in butter/5 pieces bacon, celery with dip S strawberries with cream I had all of this fat yesterday and lost a pound so I am thinking that I haven't been eating enough fat and that is why my weight has gone up so much. I will eat the same today to see what tomorrow brings.

Good morning guys! I'm new to P3 and I already have a question. I bought Stonyfield Organic Oikos Greek Yogurt and the sugar on it says: 9 grams but the ingredients do not have sugar listed in it. Does yogurt have natural sugars? Is this okay to eat or should I have bought a different brand?
Thanks so much in advance! |

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to LCF but not the HCG, I'm on my second round P3D4 and trying to stabilize but I've been going up everyday. My first round my weight stayed the same from Day 1 of P3 so this is new to me. Anyway since I have a few more rounds to go before I reach my goal I thought I'd jump to get in some support from others on the same journey. I look forward to getting to know you all and learning and losing with you! |

Sorry to read the stabilizing isn't happening as automatic as it has for you in the past. I've read about that happening before for people, but I don't have too much advice (I'm in Round 1). But I'm glad you jumped in! I think the support is really helpful. |

![]() My first round I did 23 days and stuck to protocal (minus a tbsp. of H&H in my coffee instead of milk) and I lost 15 pounds. This second round (thinking 15 pounds in 23 days wasn't good enough ) I didn't follow protocal and went 40+ days and had a couple cheats one really close to end of the round and I wonder if that's why I'm struggling a bit although TOM did show up today too. All I know is from now on I'll just stick to short, protocal rounds and take my losses as I can get them ![]() |

Sorry you're struggling. That's quite common on R2 for some reason. I always have more fluctuation the first week too. I think just refilling our systems adds lbs! Hope you settle in soon! Kay and Lemon-hope you're having a good day!!I'm up today still well out of my window (2lbs!! ) I did a good workout yesterday and thought I ate clean. I hope it goes back down. I didn't get to do a CD today and really don't want to do one tomorrow. But, if I have to I'm home and should be able to. The thing is, I just don't want to watch and count everything anymore. I want to relax, eat healthy yummy food and exercise. I want the scale to stay the same (or go down ) and enjoy my life. I'm tired of thinking about weight all the time. I'm technically ending week 1 of P4. It's been fun, but definitely still not stabilized w/ added carbs. Kay- not sure what the maintenance plan will look like. It won't be strict LC forever, but mainly healthy carbs w/ the occasional indulgence. I think I plan to do 40-60gcarbs a day, the rest protein and fats. We'll see. I'm still adjusting to the exercise and my hormones seems to be going whacky! so it's probably not a good time to experiment, but it's what I've got ![]() Teri-nice job on the weight!! Woo-hoo! Twin-I'm a huge GY fan!! I don't sweat the sugar in cured bacon, just don't overdo it. Well, just enjoyed some broc/cheese/chicken soup. I know that wasn't Low cal, but it was yummy!! Doing a CD tomorrow already. Hoping to see my LDW again, before the weekend when I bump up again!! ![]()

bouncing like crazy
Ugghhhh! This has been a tough week! I woke up to 148 today--which is crazy b/c I was Super P3 girl yesterday. Grrrr. BUT, TOM also decided to make his much belated appearance--as in, 3 weeks late. I am attributing the 1 pound gain to THAT. So, I ate super clean today--even with the typical pains, bloating, and cravings that I experienced. With a bit of luck, I'm right and will be able to regulate back down to "normal" range.
I'm SUPPOSED to be in P4. I'm so not there yet. Wondering if I should be reducing my calories? The logical side of my brain says to slow down and wait until TOM clears out and my horomones settle down before doing anything. I will carry on w/ low carb/no starch/no sugar until He leaves. If I stabilize (finally), I will then dabble in P4. Julie, I'm so with you, sister. I feel the same way! I'm having a sinking feeling that maintaining might be much more difficult than I thougt it would be. I'm off to bed. I'm wiped, and have a busy day ahead of me. (But not as busy as LAST Friday! Thank goodness!) |

Twin-aww, aren't you sweet!! Where in AZ are you? I'm in Gilbert
Kay-hang in there. TOM has been odd for me too lately!! Guessing there's something to the homeopathic after all . Hopefully the scale will settle down for you too. The hormones are likely worth at least a lb. Hope you get through tomorrow quickly and painlessly. Almost done!! My tummy's hurting. I ate well, more P4 than P3 today (corn and beans in some chicken chili), and need a nice visit from bernice. Hope to inch closer to my window tomorrow. But, even with bouncing a bit on the scale, I got a good workout yesterday and plan another one tomorrow. That's gonna' mess w/ my scale numbers, but I am ok w/ that. I like feeling stronger, fitter and seeing some muscle tone. The soreness I can do w/o . but no pain no gain, right?Have a great night! |

Well - my last P4 day. BOO HOO
![]() I am loading Saturday and Sunday and doing a 21 (23) day VLCD round. I am not looking forward to it AT ALL. However, I need to do it prior to bathing suits. I still won't be anything anyone wants to look at in a bathing suit, but I won't feel so gross. I guess this round scares me because everyone says the 2nd P2 is so hard and not as successful. Guess I have to get it over with sometime though. I am right in my window - feeling good - working out - I hope everything continues in this short P2 round. I will not quit working out, so if I have to add more protein I will. I keep telling myself it will be way easier than the 76 day round. ![]() Yesterday I had a omlet with cheese/bacon and tomatos, a chicken cordon blue sandwich but ditched the thick top piece of bread - - an entire package of trailmix (nuts/raisins/m&m's), a big bowl of red pepper/tomato soup/GY with SF cheese cake pudding...... and only .4 or .6 difference from the day before (can't remember now). Ah well - here is to a great P3 or P4 Friday - whichever you are in. |

It's my third day of p3 and I already have to do a stupid steak day. This is fairly normal for me, and I guess I really don't mind too much. I also want to be able to go out to dinner with my mom. Last Sunday Mother's Day, she was sick with the Flu! Hope it goes well, taking plenty to drink.
How is everyone doing? |
