OMG I think im a rogue!!!!!!!

Didn't want to be, but i think i am:blush:

I've been mixing my veggies, esp when i make a salad i use lettuce AND cukes or lettuce AND tomato...not just one.

I've been using waldens dressings.

I drink diet soda...to many..and use sweetnlow in my tea.

I have to use lotions (actually CREAMS) due to eczema and i use conditioner...and face cream...OK FINE, I USE LOTIONS.

I'm down almost 10lbs in 3 days, will i see a slowness or does this mean im ok?

am i alone..........

Some people can tolerate different things. I skip lotion with oils, regular deodorant and lip gloss (mine has coconut oil in it), and i've done it from day one. But I know a lot of people who lose just fine with all of the above. I can sneak in fat during the day, a tablespoon of dressing here or a few cups of popcorn here and still lose. But I'm careful to eat that portion only and walk away.

I gave up diet soda and aspartame years ago. So I'm doing okay on the soda front!

Good going on the loss!! Amazing!

Oh and I've always mixed veggies. Esp in salads. As long as I'm under my calories, I don't worry.

HCG Alternative Plans for 5/2/11

I always say - the only plan that works is the one you can stick to. You're not tweaking the plan THAT bad, but you might get a little more support in the alternative thread. It's a great bunch of gals!

I'm a little rogue too! I drink at least 2 diet cokes a day. Only get one fruit and one veggie a day too. I do meat and fruit for lunch, and meat and veggie for dinner. I also eat 4 oz of meat at a time. I also buy the biggest apples I can find and I don't measure my veggie. I've been losing pretty good too, 15 lbs in 18 days.

Hey, if it works for ya....go for it.

I guess I am rogue too, but mostly protocol. I eat chicken for dinner and lunch and eat the same thing....*everyday* for the entire P2....and I started drinking diet coke again.

As much as I preached protocol to myself, I've been rogue. I've used Walden Farms (but only twice ) and I mixed chopped cabbage into my chili (along with the tomatoes). Everything else has been protocol. Except I'm not eating the bread.

Well, I wouldn't have the HNH because I don't even have the milk that is allowed.

I will say that at least for your first round trying to stick to protocol and by that I mean the phases as written is very important.

Is there truly anyone who has stuck to "TRUE" protocol as written? I just think, as I am reading threads....even the Simeons thread..... ah...that's not in the protocol, but I keep it to myself....

I do plan to stick to the phases as written. So I'm not a total rogue. LOL

I did for the first 3 rounds. This one my head is not in it, so I reached for a diet coke and I have a couple a day. If that is considered "rogue"...that is a stretch.

I truly admire you if you can do it "by the book". I don't know that I even feel diet soda is "rogue"..... probably didn't have diet soda back then...he did say artificial sweeteners were ok.

Well, I do the best I can...as you or anyone else can do. This is more than fitting into pretty clothes (which is a nice bonus don't get me wrong) for me. This is truly me getting my life back. It is choosing to live rather than continue on the path that brought me to my highest weight (380 lbs) and was shortening my life with each passing year of carrying that weight around. With that much weight to lose its a whole different ballgame. KWIM?

there would be bodies scattered all over NC if i had to totally give up diet soda.

I tried - it was not pretty.

Yeah, I think in the manuscript that I have (7th edition, 1971) that Dr S says that chicken breast must be "carved from the bird" or something like that. I don't know about you guys, but I'm not carving my chicken breast from any bird! Other than that, I am pretty strict protocol--or at least as strict as I can be.

I carve mine from the bird.....and by bird I mean I take it out of the package and throw it on the grill.

i may have to make this a new thread,, but what do i do about weakness and cold sweats. Day 3,im not PHYSICALLY hungry, but i'm weak as all get out. Mild headache, but WEAK and when i went to the store, it took EVERYTHING i had to bring in the groceries...i had to sit down.

hubby wants to go to the zoo...first thing i thought of was "is there a riding mobility cart i can rent"

I bought "JUST THE WHITES" liquid egg...pretty calorie free etc, has anyone added a bit of that during the day? I'm wondering if my bodies not needing a bit more protein. I dont want to mess up tho...

Could be.

Are you supplementing with potassium? Taking a good vitamin? The diet is very deficient, so supplements are definitely necessary.

That being said, it's pretty tough that first week. I spent a few days laying on the couch doing NOTHING because I just couldn't. It gets better.

My first VLC day I felt like chicken poop. But have felt well since then. I have the intermountain drops and they have built in potassium, magnesium and B vitamins.
