Started today! (Pellets)

Good morning HCGers!

I started my pellets this morning....loading day #1 for me.

Started this morning with coffee, took the kiddos to school....that took me about a 1/2 hour, so right afterwards, I took my first dose of hHCG pellets. I let them dissolve, then waited another 20 minutes before having more coffee and breakfast.

I was all ready to DEVOUR my breakfast....eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, the works....my stomach was actually growling this morning...and I was thinking oh yeah...this is going to be a LONG P2. By the time I got half way through....I'm STUFFED
WTH?
It couldn't be the pellets are working this quickly, could it? Seriously?

If so...this is a GOOD thing. Please let this be the time I take these last stubborn pounds off for good!

Best of luck to you! I'm 24 hours behind you and can't wait!

Ya know, I keep hearing about how hard it actually is to load. I am looking forward to that because I have a HUGE appetite. For me, I wonder if that is a psychological aspect of "resetting". I don't know if that makes sense. For someone who has spent a lifetime of overeating - to be able to push a plate away and say, "Oh, I am so full" without finishing it? I would have said that was impossible!

I was the girl who can load and load!! Even when my tummy hurts, I can eat more! Its a terrible bad thing! I seriously have to learn to stop when I am full and not put another bite in my mouth. When I loaded, I gained 10+ the first time!! LORDY! I love sweets though and eat and eat them .. *well not anymore* Enjoy them, as you will look back and remember your loading!! LOL The longer the P2, the more you are ready for loading! Actually, the more you are ready for P3!! I love the losing, but I LOVE P3!!!

Thanks, ladies!
My loading day #1 went reasonably well. I did load with as much good fat as I could, without going too overboard on the sweets and carb-y stuff, but it WAS a challenge as far as the fullness factor.

I woke up and weighed this morning, and I'm only up .4 lb...kinda shocked it's not more! LOL!

Off to get the kidlets ready for school and do a little grocery shopping for my first week of P2.

HCG does kick in rather quick, but the fat you are eating really fills you up as well. Very smart to stick to fats and not to the sweets. Good luck in P2!

Great job!! I wanted to be one who only went up 0.4, but I could not control myself when I opened the flood gates to "eat eat eat"

Yep, def. concentrate on fat more so than calories as a whole. I ate some fat, but I'm sure if I ate more, I'd have done even better. Next round I will!

So far, so good...loading day #2.....enjoying my peanut butter, nuts, avocado with my egg this morning and I did have a little cheesecake today, just BECAUSE...

So far, the hardest part for me is remembering NOT to drink anything 15-20 minutes before and after the pellets. I always have water or coffee by my side....and it's just something I do without thinking. LOL.

I'm actually excited for tomorrow....VLCD1 .... weird?

Loading is officially OVER...and I'm on to VLCD1 today. I woke up to a stomach that is growling like MAD and a terrible sore throat....ugh....I really hate being sick. I don't have TIME to be sick!

I was planning on the sweet apple/chicken salad today for lunch, but may change that to soup. Need to go find a good P2 friendly recipe. Any suggestions?

My 6 y/o dd has an early morning eye specialist appointment to check on her uveitis (one of the not so lovely gifts of her Crohn's disease). So that will keep my mind occupied and off food this morning.

On the up side....we got our new car last night! Our lease was coming due on our old one and we wanted to 'trade down'...get a lower payment....got a great deal on an IGNITION ORANGE Kia Soul....it's sooo cute and fun to drive! I just love it! Lower lease payment too.....gotta love that!

I

That happens to me too. I have a sore throat too, but thinking back to what I have eaten I think it is all part of the detox process. I love chocolate and have been more than loading with it. When I started back up on P2 this week, my throat has been really sore. I was thinking "how can I get sick? No one else is sick at home". Then it hit me--every time I eat off plan I get a sore throat. It should go away in a few days. Karen was just posting about acne breakouts with her hcg. It is another way our toxins get out of our systems. It too will go away soon. Just stay the course and it should not last long at all.

On VLCD 2...lost 4 pounds yesterday but it was ROUGH! On HHCG pellets and had gnawing pain all day long..which turned into severe pains at night and leg cramps.
Realized that orange blended with ice probably did it..not used to high citrus. ugh:P
Woke up to the 4 pds. loss and suddenly I felt better. Ha!!
Seriously..I do feel better today and not nearly as bad as I thought. Ate a angus beef patty with lettuce and chopped organic tomatoes for dinner and it was SO good
Got some green tea and B12 today and its seems to help.
Hoping to get to know you guys better
Shelley
