No problem Cheryl, I get confused on everyones progress myself!
Well, I went with hubby to let one of his clients in a house to do a final walk-through before closing and we stopped at Wendy's for dinner. He loves Wendy's, so had no trouble convincing him. I got a Baha 1/2 salad which is lettuce with a scoop of pico de gallo and a small scoop of guacamole, I didn't us the dressing and only had a bit of the guac, and then for protein I had a small chili. The chili was hot, so I did add two saltine crackers. Add that to my 100cals smart pop popcorn and I think I did okay....and I wasn't hungry! I was down 2 pounds. I am not excited yet. I see bigger fluctuations than that from one hour to the next....so I am just hanging in there. Oh, I also left my drops at work, so I missed my evening dose...oops. I was 2.2 too! too funny
But, sadly I had a moment of hunger and i kind of already blew it today. I had the filling from a piece of pumpkin pie. I was hungry, but I don't know why I did it. I am very disappointed in my self. It is only day 2 for goodness sake. TMI, but I havn't had a bm in days...so I imagine once that passes I will get a good drop. |

I gave up for a while. I came down with strep throat and was sick as a dog, so I just couldn't do it during all that. Plus, I was already frustrated that this wouldn't work, as I had been playing tug-a-war with the same 4 pounds the whole time.
But, I am back and giving it one last shot. After being sick, I am already down 6 pounds...so will keep you posted. |

Sorry you were sick...that's the pits. i've had a sore throat and bronchitis type stuff happening since January...which is really strange because i'm hardly ever sick and i've never had allergies...but i think maybe this year i might.
I switched over to Atkins Induction myself. I guess i'm just not mentally ready to take this lc diet...i was obsessed and severely depressed all the time. i feel good so far and am keeping my drops in the fridge for when i hit plateaus. but i will be checking on you...i mean we all have the same goal right? |

So you quit them too/ wow...you were doing so well on this. The last 2 days back on I actually started lower - 2 pellets each time instead of three - and I think this might be the ticket. Of course - being sick, you have no appetite either.
I am doing greek yogurt with mio for bf, sometimes made into smoothies with frozen berries or other fruit. My fav...peach mango mio drops mixed with the yogurt and frozen peaches. yum. peached aren't exectly low sugar...but they are my fav! lunch is usually soup, or a veggie and meat, or a trip to Wendy's for a salad and a small chili. Dinner is what ever my hubby fixes (given my spefic plan), so usually a meat and veggie. Even on bad days I am topping out at maybe 800-1000 cals...so I don't see how I can not lose - but somehow my screwed up body wants to hold on to every stinkin' ounce! |

well, i was doing well in that i was losing weight....but it wasnt worth it to me to suffer emotionally. i have pretty bad depression and i was literally obsessing about every single minute of every single day about food and coming home from work and going to my bed and just crying. i was so hungry at night...late at night that i would have to get up and eat something. I'm not sure if my drops were working...maybe they were bad or something. but i want to get the bulk off by sticking to Atkins...i know it works...i am committed to sticking to it until i finally get this weight gone. its no longer vanity...its health and life.
