Missy, have you done Atkins prior and been successful? I am not saying you shouldn't do it, but sometimes people who have been on Atkins find themselves *not* being successful anymore for whatever reason, if they have started and stopped and started and stopped - I wish you well, whatever you decide. You can do this.

i lost 100 pounds with a combination of Atkins...some body for life...some zone diet.... but then i got divorced and raised 2 kids to adulthood and over the last 4-5 years i gained back about 80. so yes i have been successful at it...i am aware of the cycles of weight loss and the stalls. I do believe HCG still will have a place in my weight loss...but i just don't think i can do this for 5 rounds... maybe when i get some of the bulk off or get to a point where i'm not losing on Atkins anymore.
I really appreciate your support and i will still be checking in...it's a small close group here and i will miss that. i've been on these boards since 2003... i liked it here.

Aw man! I'm sorry to hear that! I almost caved yesterday because I have a bad cold but I hung on and had my first whoosh this morning.
I hope you re-think this, but I wish you well in whatever you decide. For me, Atkins will always have a place in my life, but it hiccuped one too many times for me now that I have the motivation to lose this blubber. I do hope you'll still check in from time to time even if you decide hcg is not for you. ![]() |
