That's some stubborn water weight mini! Crazy!

I'm up .5 but that came to no surprise to me. I don't think it was my food choices but the lack of it. I didn't get lunch in b/c I was so busy and I definately didn't get in all my water. If I don't get at least 400 calories in and I don't drink at least 64 ounces of water I just hold onto whatever I've got. It's ok, I'll get it off today!

Hope everyone has an amazing day. I've got another super busy day ahead of me then I think I'm going to take my daughter shopping. She's been getting the shaft lately as my son's been taking up most of my time.

Good morning everyone.... Feeling pretty good today, my jeans are falling off me and I remember when these puppies would barely snap, or better yet when I couldn't even wear them. I just wish I could get rid of the fat in the belly area (all around spare tire) so I can wear form fitting shirts....they still look GROSS! I will not wear clothes that show my fat!

Today - tomorrow and then the moment of truth........stepping on that scale.

I remember when I didn't want to leave P2, I am having that issue with P3 now. I like eating and the thought of back to P2 is not very inspiring right now. Hopefully by the end of the week-end I will be ready to load and lose!

Everyone have an awesome FRIDAY!

Good morning!

137 today (137 Wed, 137.2 Thur, 137 Fri). Ended yesterday at 1000 calories instead of the 700 or so I was aiming for. So not surprised not to see a real loss. That darn peanut butter! My emotions were fine...but I was feeling stressed with the kids stuff. Why does their things stress me more than them?

Tummy all better today....must remember to slice all almonds before consuming! Am wondering if I have a bit of diverticulitis or something.

Average weight loss for last 4 weeks .22 lb per day (5 days a week). Have lost 4.2 pounds in the last 4 weeks. I really hope it picks up. I can't imagine doing this for another 17 or 27 weeks to hit goal. I do know looking at my patterns, that I am due for a good week next week!

At least as minimonkey has said...the little bit of weight is REALLY visible. It seems to mostly be coming out of my pooch now, and making pants fit easier. When I have to go into work it's a real problem, as I don't have many work trousers. Got the new 13s which look TERRIFIC, but then I also have a pair of olive 16s and khaki 16s that have to be belted in and are as saggy as anything. Think it's time to ask my neighbor if she has anything sitting in her closet. She went from a 16 or so to a 6...she's a clothes horse, she might not have given it all away.

OK, so next week GOOD things are happening! I'm going to bust thru 136.7, which is the BMI for me that goes from "overweight" to "normal" BMI! And then I'm going to hit 135, which is the weight I was when I returned from my honeymoon. And then I'll hit 130, which is the weight I was at when I got married. And then I'll be into college weights! I am slowly moving almost 20 years into the past!

G'morning! So I am down another .8! Yay! I had my first hungry day yesterday, after having pretty much no hunger since VLCD1. I baked cookies for a school function and OMG, I wanted them so much. Didn't, tho. I may add a few more drops today to push the hungries away. I have a really bad sore throat too. blah

Hi Mini

TGIF! Hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning ladies! Look at all the scales moving downward!

Down .5 today - I'm starting to actually get hopeful that I'll see the 170s this round! I have 8 days left in this round... Crunching numbers suggests that if I keep up this current pace of losses, I should end somewhere around 176. That would be WONDERFUL. I haven't seen that since about 2004 (okay, a very brief downward blip in about 2007, but I think it only lasted about a week due to the flu, then it shot right back up into the 180s, so I'm not counting that.) What's weird is that when I look at pictures of me at that weight, way back then, I *look* heavier than I do now - because I didn't lose the fat from the "right" places. Encouraging, at least!

Hope all you lovelies have a fantastic day! I'm going to attempt to get some sculpting done today, but my spidey sense tells me I'm going to wind up doing some more spring cleaning. I don't often get on a cleaning jag, so I've learned that when I *do*, it's best to take advantage of it. Might even see some of the coffee table surface later!!!

to all!

I realized hovering around 160 or so that this was my set-point for my early 20's. I got way below that in my late 20's/early 30's, so I'm wondering why this is significant. Also, on my way up I don't remember staying there...I just blew past it to the 200's.

Anyway, that's what I'm thinking about right now.

I've been taking drops but not doing anything resembling P2. I don't know why I'm doing this. I'm wondering if I should just let it go for a while. Somehow I *think* that the drops are magic, and they will somehow cause me to lose weight anyway, or that they will somehow "make" me eat less/better.

I've had more sweet cravings that I had in the last 2 years.

And that concludes my rambling!

There ya go Paula, we will be rooting for you too! You have such conviction for your WOE... I think I would fall so badly every weekend, there is no way I could do it... but its probably a better learning lesson for the long term. I will be rooting you on next week!!

Cheryl, Great job on the loss!! I so understand the cookie thing, but.... I would have eaten one... I am a "nibbler" its horrible! I have not been doing it this round (well did once) but generally, a bite here, a bite there... terrible!!

Mousie,
Great job! Your numbers are looking soo good!! I have 10 days left too, which if I continue at 0.5 I will lose 5 more pounds, and be to 142... still 7 pound shy of my goal though... hmmm...

BTW, what do you sculpt? and with polymer? I am a sculptor too, I do babies, out of polymer clay!!

As for my morning, released another 0.8 lbs, so down to an even 147.0 Was hoping for a full lb or more, but we must not be greedy!! I will take it!! I am due for P3 in 10 days, but might if I am still losing well, hold off ... but I will be out of Injections, unless I want to mix a new batch, but I could use pellets alone, but the combination I am using right now seems to be working, so dont want to upset the apple barrel.... but I guess if it did not work, I could just move to P3.. right?? LOL

Yes - I did (I even used some Oscar Myer). I don't know that I lost as fast as some, but I did lose 30! (stayed off so far too in P3) By the way, I noticed another thread about clementines - - I ate those too.

I'm absorbing your comments about losing in the "right" places. I am hoping to reduce my pear-y shape, especially in the thigh area!

Lynne: I hope you figure something out. I'd hate to waste my hhcg if my head wasn't in it fully. I know you've had a lot of stress in your life recently.

Paula

Cathy: on 147, woman! I thought my mind was made up that after 10 more days of VLC I'd automatically make the transition to P3 too, but now...I'm undecided. I'll see how I feel physically/emotionally at that point, I guess and decide from there. Mostly, although this is boring, it's pretty easy to do! Easiest way I ever lost 12.8 lbs, fo sho!

Nursey: I love deli meats, but am staying away for now. I think Boar's Head is one of the best brands out for quality + no additives. Your losses are amazing!

Hi Terilynn! Do you ever go to the Sunday farmer's markets in Parker? I am dying for them to start up again.

Hhcg and probably hormones, too, totally changed my body shape. I used to be a complete pear, and now I am much more balanced and even leaning toward appledom at times... so weird!!!!

I've been wondering how tall you are, it's good to see another shorty. 103 is my highschool/college weight but I haven't seen that since 1994, I weighed 106 for a few days in 97' then I got my first teaching job and put on 25lbs during the school year.

Mmmmmm, pork is by far my favorite meat. I make carnitas pretty much the same way, so good.
I am also rogue with meat, I eat chicken thighs (I cannot stomach chicken breast ), tuna steak, pork chops etc. I weigh and count the calories, I just can't stand dry meat.

I was up another .5 today to 121, that is up 1lb from my low 2 days ago. But, I was probably due for a stall and TOM is here (or kind of here, hasn't come full force yet) so I will need to power-through the weekend and hope to be back down by Monday.

Wow -- some good happenings here...

Teri -- WHOOOHOO on the falling off jeans!! I know what you mean about not wanting to leave p3 once you are used to it... I was mighty grumpy about that this time. You are rockin this thing, though, and you aren't looking at another 47-million-day p2 this time... just 23 days.

MOUSIE-- OMG, bye bye weight! Paula... bye bye inches! Hang tough everyone who isn't seeing big numbers... the scale only tells part of the story, as we all know. Some days, jeans (or pictures!) are a much better friend than the scale.

Catjrow --- wow, we have THREE sculptors on this thread! Pretty wild stuff.

I'm a sculptor, too. I mostly work in ceramics -- large, figurative pieces (life size torsos at the moment.) -- I am working on my Masters of Fine Art at San Francisco Art Institute. I do some wood, plaster, and metal, too -- but clay is my real love.

Mousie does miniature (dollhouse scale) figures in polymers... they are utterly fabulous! She does pinup, and other subcultural specialty themes.... I completely adore her work.

The scale is finally creeping down for me -- 108.8 today... at least that is the right direction. I must say, my legs and booty are looking SO much better, I think some of this really IS muscle.. I have muscle building capacity that puts some men to shame, so I really shouldn't be surprised to see a scale gain with the amount of hard training I am doing.

My poor abdomen is still pretty bloaty, though... darn hormones.

It actually feels good to me to be back on p2, now that I'm used to it again. Good energy, almost no hunger today... what's to grouse about?

It'll be interesting to see how I look when I hit 105 again... my guess is I will be significantly leaner looking, and show some really noticeable muscle definition.

I did a tan-in-a bottle yesterday, and that always makes me look/feel better in the summer, too -- I am as pale as the driven snow otherwise.... I don't mind that in the winter, but when it comes to baring skin, I need some help.

I do on occasion - I believe they are starting up this week- or did last week, I heard that at a water aerobics class anyway. Are you in Parker?

So you're in San Francisco. I wondered where you lived, Mini! I'd love to see some of your work. Can you sculpters post pics of something you've done? I know Mousie's Avi is one of hers. It's so cute!

Hello everybody! I am finally back to my ticker weight. I had been losing really well, like some of you are this week. Then I hit a snag of sorts and gained a lb one day and then 2.2 more the next. I've been creeping back down ever since and now I'm back to baseline. I hope tomorrow the whoosh fairy comes to pay me a visit.

It's gorgeous weather here today! Windows are open, parakeets are on the back porch in their cage and I am soaking in all the sights, sounds and smells of a gentle Spring day. I hope you all have a pleasant day, too. Lynne, remember your goal (in your signature line) and try to refocus. You can do this, sweetie! You can do it.

Awww, thanks Mini! And Cat, what Mini says is correct - I work in polymer clay, in miniature, and specialize in Pinup Art. I go by Longefellowes Designs. Warning, may be NSFW depending on your employer's filters! I'm making you do a search, because I *think* linking is against TOS. I'm not entirely sure I interpreted the rules right, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!

I confess to being highly curious about this "tan in a bottle" what is it, does it look natural, and non-streaky, and where do I find it? I'm one white Scottish lassie, and I need as much help as I can get! BTW, I left a message for you on the "other" forum. Whenever you have the time, no rush.

WOE: HHCG original plan
Start Date: start 2001 obviously yoyo girl :(
ok, i think i screwed up....

I do want and plan on, staying at the 500 calories, infact yesterday i made my soup and only ate about half (got full lol) and had cukes with walden blue cheese and a small yucky round steak (i was being cheap but if i only get to eat a little im gonna go for the filets from now on!!!!!!!!!!! why not enjoy the little i get yanno)

anyway, i SKIPPED THE PM DOSE ... i meant to take it after bed (im a night nurse i dont get to keep a reg schedule on the pellets..sometimes i take the last one at 1am, other times i take the last one at 10pm or even 9pm...etc)

anyway this am, i felt "bad' not hungry, just weakened. Ive been taking my husbands vitamen (for men ....dont laugh, i havent grown testicles yet) and a 10meq perscription strength potassium, which might be a little high...i have to look that up.

So this am i ate a small egg white omlet, nothing in it, so basically just egg whites, about 1/3 cup...45 calories and half a grapefruit. NOW i read and somehow missed you arent supposed to eat breakfast.

Do you guys ever add a little extra protein? What about breakfast? Should I skip lunch? I ate my breadstick as a snack a few minutes ago, should i try to hold out for dinner? I still have a big salad to look forward to and my apple or strawberries...and plan on hamburger patty tonight. BTW i still have my left over soup that probably has 40g of protein in it..should i eat that to make up for the little protein i ate at errrrr BRUNCH...

sorry just confused. I know a lot on here are more rogue then me lol...but with the 3 or 4 diet drinks i consume and the splenda/sweetnlow...i am NOT protocol!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm someone said they ate clementines too....i really like my clementines!

Whew! I'm not liking these busy days as its too hard to keep up with everyone! I ended up getting out early today (yeah me) and headed for the tanning bed. Now relaxing with some iced coffee before I gotta go get the kids!

Looks like everyone had a decent loss! WTG!

So my size 6 capris that I was shocked to get into are falling off me. Going to wash them and take them back to kohls for a return. I am so not a 4, or a 6 for that matter, but its going to feel so good to buy a pair of 4s! I think of myself as a size 8. It's amazing that in 2 weeks time I've dropped a pants size (as these capris were a bit tight 2 weeks ago) and that I've gotten so close to goal!

Amy, I prefer beef, but try to sick to lower calorie options! I also love the chicken thighs better and can't handle dry meat. Tonight is turkey burgers since I forgot to take the fish out of the freezer. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to keep them moist enough for my taste!

Nursey, I eat 1 HB egg for b'fast every morning. Plus, I do a total of 2T heavy cream in coffee or tea. You'll have to test drive stuff on your own as YMMV, but I kinda doubt the extra protein will hurt your losses much, if at all.

Melanie! Size 6 falling off you?! Hmmm. It's not nice to hate, is it? LOL
Niiiice!

Hello my rogue friends. Sorry Ive been missing in action. I hope everyone is enjoying their journey!
My lovely mother is losing her battle with breast cancer. I am beyond words. Even though she has been sick since 2009. The cancer has been inactive for almost 1yr now. The cancer has spread to her brain, and its only a matter of time. She has been my rock, my friend, my teacher, my everything. I cannot nor did I ever imagine the rest of my life without her. i dont want you to think I dont have good memories. She had a bucket list that we have completed so much of in the last 18mos. We have done more as a family than ever. I am so grateful for that time. I know she was happy, and is going out the way she wanted. Who can ask for more than that!

Oh, so sorry! You're both in my prayers.

It's such a pleasure to hear that you are doing her bucket list with her. You must be so close to each other!

Marva, I Am fairly new here but wanted to extend my sympathies. I also lost my mom to breast cancer nearly 16 years ago. I don't think we are ever ready to lose our moms. It sounds like you are well aware how precious time is. Treasure all those moments because they will sustain you in the hard days ahead.

Melanie, Ha..sounds like my day. I went shopping with hubby on his birthday, 23rd of April, bought a couple pairs of shorts/capris, both size 6, went to put one on today, too big! Tried on the other pair, too big!! I took them both back today for size 4s!! They fit, but if I lose another 10, might not fit again!! Mind, I am certainly not a 4 everywhere I shop. PUt on my 6s from JCP today and they fit me. But yeah baby, size 4s in the house too!!
