cheating while still taking hcg
Off course I didn't plan to cheat as much as I have in the last few weeks, but it happened. Came back from a wonderful vacation (at an all time low weight :). Had to face real life vs. vacation life. My husband has been traveling for work, so home alone +lonely and depressed.
I was still using my drops each day. Does this make your gains "real" so to speak? I understand a cheat (even a bad one) once in awhile can possibly not do a lot of damage, but I'm talking not being able to stay on p2 for more than 2-3 days at a time without an all out binge. I had considered just stopping my drops cold turkey but then was afraid of what would"ve happened. I'm in a better place mentally today, and ready to recommit to a proper p2. With the weight I have gained over the past two weeks I do need to stick to it, but afraid i have done some real damage. Pretty sure after 2 weeks this gain (which is QUITE a bit) is real not just carb bloat :( Also, can you become immune to hcg (homeopathic) where it quits working? Mindi |
I don't think so. :) This round (3), I have cheated twice. It has been a bad round for me...and my head hasn't been in the game. Today I am re-committing to P2. I believe you are supposed to have 21 days of protocol (no cheats) to reset your hypothalamus properly. I went a little rogue today, and decided that to make this work, I need to go back to strict protocol. Tomorrow I will begin 21 days of NO cheats, no rogue-ness, and attempt to lose 12 more pounds. :) In my experience, you need to get back on the saddle...and eventually the weight you have gained will come back off. FYI: I gained big on both cheats. It took me a few days to work it back off...lots of tea/water...clean eating. Good luck!!!

Hey Mindi. Come on girl -- WE can snap back into gear. I am doing my first ever apple day. Started at noon today and runs to noon tomorrow. Will let ya know how it goes. I just gotta see a drop on that scale for a little re-motivating. Hey, are you doing your plan via MRC? You know, if this doesn't work out for you, perhaps consider just doing the Metaslim plan. Don't lose hope! --Joy2UnMe PS, Oh, take a look at the thread on re-feeding. It is interesting. It may hold a lot of promise. Currently there is someone on there serving as a guinea pig so I am watching her posts to see how this goes. If it works, it will be awesome. |
I "cheated" BAD for a week at a convention. I took drops the first few days and then I just gave it up.
I gained 11 pounds.... well some of those were "load" weight. I came back...loaded Sat and Sun and here it is Thursday and I have already lost 9 of that 11. Gives me hope. |

Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement girls!
Jill, I went back to the metabalance plan for now. Need to get off this binge roller coaster. Hating wasting the drops if I wasn't being serious about it like the first time. Hcg does give you such great fast results though!! I think i will stay with metbalance for the next week or until after Easter and get back to HCG. I received the drops that MRC uses. Why do they have to be refriderated? How did your apple day go? |

As for why drops need to be refrigerated, well, they claim they are real hcg, so perhaps that is the reason. Although I have read on here that no drops under the tongue should require refrigeration. Really, I don't know, I just really try hard to do it though. Don't want them to go bad. --Joy2UnMe |

I cheated probably worse than anyone has ever cheated on HCG. I visited the "Bite of Seattle" where they have the most fattening food known to man, and I consumed it all. Chocolate covered strawberries, deep fried nutella on bread. bbq, cheeseburger, cheesecake, curly fries. EVERYTHING and more. I am afraid to step on the scale. I was on day 22 when I cheated (which was yesterday) I leave to Hawaii 4 days from now, and that was supposed to be my last day on the injections. I'm discouraged, HELP ME PLEASE!
