Yeah... I had my morning pot of java... four small apples and water throughout the day. Most of the major squishy is gone, so I suspect I have lost a decent amount of inches, but I am not due for a measuring for while yet.

Just needing to put something into perspective (so I don't go crazy!!!)

1 pound = 16 oz... approximately 16 shot glasses worth. I gained less than 8 shot glasses worth overnight. (No comment on whether I have ever drank more than that overnight!!! I am older and wiser now! lol) The goal is still to go down, not up, but again I try to keep an eye on the daily average loss (which has remained the same).

(+2) Well... can we say sunburn!!! Out and about all day in the sun again yesterday with two meals out... salad for lunch and salad and steak for dinner.. but NOT homemade (obviously) I think the gain is more due to water retention from the sunburn. But again... no excuses, back home today and back on track with my homemade food... knowing there is no added sugar or what not. Funny, we were at a steakhouse for dinner, and the push the servers are to make for the 'deal'...making a point to explain all the 'free' food that comes along in this deal. All I heard was that all the 'free' food was added carbs!!!! Those aren't 'free'!!! But they do fill you up if you eat them... giving you a VERY full feeling... leaving the restaurant believing you got a great deal of food for your money. Interesting, eh? It is all a matter of perspective, and I don't miss the carbs at all... even the bread and butter board that is the first thing served so one is full before the damn salad even hits the table! lol

P.S. I just wanted to add that it is not that I have a 'devil may care' attitude about gains during p2 with my no excuses comments. It is not meant to judge anyone else, or imply that anyone uses excuses for anything during their journey. I just know that when I have not done anything so far off protocol (food wise) to cause gains overnight, that it is simply my body doing whatever it needs to do to... well... survive. kk... rock you journey all!
