REALLY looking forward to P3 - going to be super careful, though. I will NOT gain this round's weight back. It was a long haul with my interrupt in the middle and a gain to be re-lost. One thing is for certain, when it's hard fought, you are more resolved to keep it off.

So who's with me! Let's maintain this summer!
i am so happy for you!!!

Well, here it is! It's not a very good one, but it's me today after 102 loss. *whew* that's alot of work. Never going back! I think I have one more round in me, will do it in the fall to get off that final 20. But that means I have to maintain all summer and not spend half my new round getting off gained weight!

I'm probably starting up again 9/1.... or so.... we'll see. If I start feeling like I want to do it earlier, I will. It'd be nice to do two short ones instead of a long one this time.

Just an update:

I'm on P3, and I notice that my size 12 or 14 (depends on style) pants that were pretty tight on me ending P2 are now NOT so tight anymore..... YAY! And I've been regularly wearing some size L's and even M's shirts, even though my bra size is 36D - so arms, shoulders, back, ribs, and waist are small enough to do that size. My exercise pants and jammas are now ONLY a L - no more X's or 1,2's etc. I started out this diet in 4x sweats and jammas!

I'm maintaining ok so far - one week into P3, with only one steak day probably brought on by indulgence on SF chocolate. If I manage to stay away from the chemical Sugar-Free sweeteners, it seems to go easier for me. I'm staying around 1600-1700 calories, with about 55% of those FAT, yes, you heard me right - and about 30% Protein, and only 15% carbs, which of course on P3 is from veggies and fruit and dairy. I log my food into ******, just so I can see where I'm at. I may push up the calories a bit after the next week here and see if I can go higher. But really, on this many calories I am plenty full almost all day, and I don't see any reason, with my age, height, weight, and sedentary level, to push too much higher-I will keep monitoring it, though - don't want the new weight to set with too few of calories.

I also just started a 20-minute a day routine on a new rebounder with stability bar I got so that I can start to rehab my hip. If it makes me gain, then I will probably drop dairy for awhile and go straight animal protein and salads.

I am going to be ordering a new swimsuit and I'm scared/excited but I'm gonna do it! No more old lady swimsuits for me!

Don't forget with your new exercise routine that you are no longer "sedentary". You may NEED more calories. Add another pat of butter and you're probably good to go.

Shelby, I logged the 20 minutes of rebounding into ****** and it told me how many calories it likely burned - it wasn't as many as it felt like!
Was like 86 calories for "jogging on a mini tramp" and it was less, 67, if I put in "trampoline" for 20 minutes. Does that seem right?

Yes, that's probably about right but it isn't always calories in/calories out. Keep an eye on your hunger levels. When I don't eat enough I gain. I just don't want you to be in the same spot. I know Raven has experienced a bit of this and for her, she needed to increase protein. Our bodies are such a puzzle, huh?

My weight is up today, probably should do at least a mini-steak day (split proteins between lunch/dinner) or something - believe it is only the working out and muscle soreness retaining water-unless that's an urban myth. I have been monitoring my calories at 1600-1700 still. I have been eating at least 100-140 grams of protein a day. I think I will lower the fat slightly at least until I see if the water retention goes down. Since I have to get enough protein in, and one steak doesn't do it enough, I won't do a true steak day at this point.

And as much as I hate to, I'm lowering my salt intake slightly. I LOVE salt and it usually doesn't bother me in the least unless I eat alot of salty foods at night (pork rinds being one that always makes me gain-but I haven't eaten any of those at all) - I really salt my meat although I use seasalt.

UPDATE... since dropping most SF items and most dairy and nuts, I seem to be stabilizing better. I should be starting P4 tomorrow. We'll see -- I had a monster sized dinner tonight followed by coconut milk ice cream with a less-offending SF sweetner, it has erythritol, chicory root, and monk fruit in it (So Delicious SF coconut ice cream bars) so its sugar-alcohol is lower than most things. And it's not dairy, so hopefully I'm in the clear. But eating a big dinner late is risky business

I'm still doing my rebounder exercise and building strength and doing better.

I got my swimsuit, flirty black dress, and new pants and top from Victoria's Secret and everything fit. Nothing is in a plus size anymore. AMAZING. My legs are jiggly but my poor skin just hasn't had much of a chance to shrink back after losing over 100 pounds. I'll give it time. I'd rather have skinnier jiggly than filled out fat jiggly~ !!!

I'm going to tan a few times before vacation so at least the jiggly will be a bit golden!

Update:

I'm firmly in P4 time-wise but not so great food-wise. I have been maintaining by hook or by crook, though, as I'm too determined to let this weight pile back on! Backing up and trying P4 one-thing-at-a-time, just like my advice to others. One thing about doing this multiple times, you can learn how to get it right - if you don't get cocky! Ugh!

I leave for vacation on Friday morning, and I'll be sticking to my guns so as not to gain very much on my 2 weeks. I ordered some pellets from netrition and had the order sent to my condo so I can decide whether I want to consider the last 2 days of vacay a load to start my next round. I do Rx injections and have since day 1 except for a partial round with drops once - but I really don't feel like dragging my Rx and my mixing vials and shots just to load with and explaining all that to the TSA

If I do better than I think at maintaining then I will just probably hold out to do my R6 until the fall. Unless I get antsy. And I get antsy alot. It's that dang type A personality.

I ordered another swimsuit in a regular size and I actually like how I look in it. I got my hair cut and the color brightened. I have tanned a couple times so I won't burn as bad since I'm a redhead. Tomorrow I get my toes done. I have to clean off my desk and fly the coop. I will have intermittent internet so I will be checking in, keeping myself accountable, and letting you know my successes and my fails.... all part of the process!

OH - I did get my laser finally and I lasered dairy and nuts. I wonder if I can take it with me on the plane so as to laser some more things if I find sensitivities as I do P4 testing more? I haven't tried dairy since except for a very small amount of HWC about 32 hours after lasering.

Good to hear from you, and I'm so glad this thread got bumped, since I wasn't a member here the first time around!

WOW!!

I am SO glad you are here! Have a really fun vacation. Where are you going? (Did I miss it? ) Only P4 advice I can share is what you already know. If you go out to dinner, start with a huge glass of water and a side salad; down the water in the first few minutes. (Weight Watchers tip) You can freeze the fruit, (like cantaloupe) and bring it with you to the beach. Also if there is a health food store anywhere nearby; you can see if they have coconut bliss ice cream or some other possible alternative.

Have a wonderful time. You will feel light, and energetic, and wonderful!

I'm back! I am up this morning to 4.4 above my LIW. I will get it back down to around 2-3, which is where I typically maintain between every round.

I took my scale and weighed almost every day, kept my portions manageable except for 2 dinner meals (Luau and one other special meal) and ate alot of protein and salads and fruits. I did indulge in some alcohol and those sugary mixes and some desserts got me good with the weight spikes.

I felt really good about myself this time - last time I was in Hawaii I was 100 pounds heavier. It was nice to go reclaim that part of myself. I hadn't had my wedding ring sized back down since I lost the weight and got that done and picked up just before I left. I got some sun, had some fun snorkeling and sightseeing, listened to alot of live music, and really enjoyed the time with family.

Back at it! Going to get this extra couple pounds off this week. I did get my pellets but decided against re-starting/loading at the end. I am still debating on when to start my next round.

I DID take my laser on the plane, and I lasered sugar-free torani vanilla syrup, coconut milk, regular sugar, and almond milk while I was there to see if it would help. It seemed to, but will probably do more now that I'm home.

You've come so far and so close to goal. I'm so happy for you!!
Now, we're all being nice and patient, but I'm sure, with digital cameras, you could upload a few pics of your trip and the "current" you!! No pressure, but you know we're all waiting .

Honestly, Jule, I have no idea how to do that.
I can change my avatar, but I don't know how to attach pictures inside a post. I can see if I can add some to my before/afters which are in my albums in my public profile.

Down 1.2 this a.m. so the next few days I hope it will be off again.

I started physical therapy again and need to do some strength building and will be upping protein. Hopefully the increased activity and inflammation won't cause weight gain. But if it does, it does.

Congrads Marie

The strength training is a double edge sword for me. The advantages go without saying. But I get into a groove and then I stall or even gain, take a day off and lose. I know the reality of muscle weighs more than fat, repairing muscles retain water, blah, blah, blah. But it messes with my irrational side.
