*UPDATE*

Round 5:
I started my loading at 3 pounds above my LDW, then gained 4 pounds with loading.

Week 1 =10 pounds lost and 3 pounds into NEW WEIGHT
Week 2 =4.2 down

I am now 2.8 pounds from my 100 pounds lost mini-goal.

I'm glad I read your post and agree completely. I have also learned a lot in this journey...and the big one is that I might be able to eat whatever on occasion...but do I really want to?
....and my answer is the same as yours...not really!
...it just isn't as good as I remember...rather, I find myself craving healthy foods (even this last loading I craved fruit and vegies instead of donuts and other crap) I just find it funny, really

Absolutely ! I mean, I can eat the stuff, and once in awhile I DO crave something. I'm not superwoman, for goodness' sake. But really, a "taste" does suffice now! And if I eat too much starch or sugar I don't feel good! so what good is it? Things just don't taste the same once you've got the monkey off your back (no offense to monkeys).

Thanks everyone! I'm still sorta amazed myself that I'm where I'm at after being so heavy for so long.

I went to a friend's daughter's consignment shop today to get a couple outfits because I *literally* had nothing left to wear after losing the last 10 pounds. As I went to hang up the clothes tonight on the hangers, the thought hit me how SMALL they look just hanging there compared to my old clothes. I'm still in a bit of disbelief that I'm now in sizes I haven't seen in more than 20 years.

Keep at it, everyone! It's worth it!

They were nice clothes, so I gave them to a woman's shelter so helpfully they will be put to good use for office work clothing.

Back on the hcg after an "interrupt" done protocol-style but I didn't do any correction days, just P3- eating plus alcohol, not nearly enough sleep many days, not nearly enough water, and pain meds that make me hold water.... and I gained some weight. So back at it! IN IT to WIN IT!!!

(oh yeah - and edited to add I DIDN'T WEIGH FOR DAYS !!!! BAD!!!! or I would've known to correct!)

(and I just found some other BIG clothes to get rid of shoved in the back of a closet! HOLY MOLEY WHAT WAS I SAVING THEM FOR!???)

I'm back down quite a bit of my P3 interruption weight gain - only 2.8 more to be back to my lowest number in about 25 years and 101 pounds lost. Hoping to blast through that and get down a few more before ending this Round 5 and taking my summer break.

UPDATE: Done with P2 of Round 5. Total weight lost: 102.6

New Goal: Maintain all summer, do Round 6 in the fall.

Right now, I'm at a weight that is LESS than before I got pregnant with my daughter, who is 22. Next stop: High School weight! Woop!

REALLY looking forward to P3 - going to be super careful, though. I will NOT gain this round's weight back. It was a long haul with my interrupt in the middle and a gain to be re-lost. One thing is for certain, when it's hard fought, you are more resolved to keep it off.

So who's with me! Let's maintain this summer!
